Some simple improvement ideas we may all like
1- We have "short, quick" food for pigs and cows, and we have similar for orchards.
Why not for ducks, donkeys, chickens and goats?
2- On the topic of those shorter, quicker means to produce, there is no way to make these in the laboratory right now.
Why not add the option for us to make the premium version of these here, and also the normal version for orchards?
3- On the topic of events, I'll split it up a little. Note, there's a lot to be said about events so I'll only keep the things that normally should be OK to the vast majority of players or at least not impacting them in a negative way. Not touching the subject on how often events should occur.
3.1: WWC.
WWC event has 5 different groups to score points to. The normal farm one is very easy to get full, while the fish and to a lesser degree the event ones, are a lot more difficult - this is a generic feedback, not just mine.
- Rebalance the points needed to get the rewards so that all are a bit more achievable, while making the farming one a bit more difficult than it is (right now I finished mine within 3 days...).
- Switch up the rewards a little from time to time; at least for the decorations and skins that can be obtained.
3.2: HW, Fish HW and CHW.
On the ones aside from the fish one, the products you are asked to deliver change depending on your level, as more gets added. But some logical option are not in there at all (pigs?!). We could do with adding these (pigs on first group of players, donkeys on second group of players, and honey in a late group).
It would at the same time increase the use of some buildings that we barely use at the moment (pigs and especially donkeys).
For the Fish variant, if you're not there when it starts or the hour after, you can forget a good ranking, as all the timers last forever and it's very tough to make up on points. Solution: half the timer for anything on that one, and this event will become a lot more interactive.
3.3: CC
Prizes on CC need to be switched up a bit from time to time too; and also here I'm talking especially about decorations and skins that can be won.
4: Weekly events
Weekly events are good, little to be changed about them, but there's often questions regarding when a player can choose the difficulty level, what needs to be done for it and how (and also regarding speed quests after).
Other events like village fair and WWC have an information page, perhaps we can add one for the weekly events too?
5: Skins
There isn't a single set available for every building on that farm. The "frozen" set comes close, but some of the houses cannot be changed (the 15x5 and 10x5 houses for example). Other sets are less and less complete, depending on the set. Complete the sets so players can really go for a themed farm if they wish to.
Secondly o nthis same topic: skins are mostly for the main farm, but there's very few for the other ones. Why not, golden opportunity to make more money BigFarm!
Hoping at least some of these suggestions will be implemented soon.
Comments
I would actually go opposite of a fast-feed, and do a mid or long-term feed,
2 hour ready-time for chicks, and maybe 3~5 hour ready-time for goats.
A fast-feed for donkey would be nice, 15~30 minutes ready-time--
or a super long-feed at 12~16 hours ready-time.
A fast-feed for ducks would be great, but any faster than a 10~15 minutes ready-time would start to compete with chickens, yet I suppose using the turbo/repeat harvests & swift seeders would make it much more convenient to switch back and forth between farms to harvest.
When this topic was suggested before, I had to stop and think about if my mills would be able to handle making more, different types of feed. I suppose if you're water towers are max upgraded, and mills are max upgraded, then it should be manageable. Then of course, I would probably suggest they give us more levels to further upgrade our mills... to work faster, and faster!
Don't agree with the FHWE suggestions, though. On the US server, for example, most of us wake up hours after the event has started, but we don't have to "forget about a good ranking." Half the timer wouldn't be of any help, I don't think, as the timer starts as soon as we start harvesting the oysters, so we really haven't lost anything. We gain more points by adding fish, not by having shorter harvest times. It's pretty easy to reach the max fish per second if you are lucky with the crate line up and fishing pools. Having long harvest times is really in our best interests. You can always move on to the next crate for a very modest amount of gold if need be. Besides, with all the other events running simultaneously, it's nice to have an invent that is less interactive.
