WARNING!!! "Click Through" at it again, but this time VERY costly!!!!

I just sent two emails in to support about this issue, and I hope to goodness that they will restore the 42K GOLD that this "click through" problem has caused!.......I was working on the Back to Nature task of making corn and eggs available.....clicked on donate corn, chose max amount and clicked "donate".....SUDDENLY I get a big green check mark on the eggs!!!! When I clicked to donate the corn, the click had gone "through" to the "finish eggs with gold" button underneath!!!! I am SO sick over this, as I am on a fixed income and only get to enjoy buying gold about once a month, which I just did this very morning!!! This is to warn you, however that this is a REAL game issue/bug that needs immediate attention......It also happens ALOT when I'm just everyday farming......click to close an equipped boat, logs me completely off the game........click to collect eggs, and collect apples or milk at the same time.......All too often, when I click one thing, whatever is "under" that object gets clicked too! I hope someone understands this!! and I hope that GGS is kind enough to please please please restore my gold, and yes I am aware of the "gold confirmation" setting, but I am ALWAYS SO CAREFUL with my gold spending, I have never used it.......

Yes, your issues are very real, but you really must set up your gold confirmation settings as there are so many "gotchas" in the game. This is especially important as you say you're on a fixed income. Mine is set to "1'" and it has saved me numerous times.

The button is set now, believe me........but I was donating CORN!! It never occurred to me that there would be a question of whether or not I was about to spend 42K gold.........you see what I'm sayin'? lol, smh....When I clicked "donate" on the corn, it actually "went THROUGH" that little screen and clicked the "finish eggs with gold" button TOO!! So the error wasn't on my part AT ALL! Thanks for your comments though......I just really sincerely hope that GGS will restore the gold, since a BUG actually ate it!!

Oh I am so sorry! Did GGS restore it? Was it done in error or caused by an in-game problem?

As @janflipflo (GB1) has stated, players that have been with the game for some time remember the times there was no gold lock. Farmers where loosing hundreds to hundred of thousands of gold, because of the location of the pop ups and the so called untimely fashion of when they show up. The slight delay in action response when clicking on some thing.
Although it may be a costly mistake. You will be a lot more careful with your clicks going forward. And setting your gold lock, as highly recommended by @artful (US1) is a great start.
