The % column shows to how many support boosters everyone have contributed to the coop :)

For me, its my favorite statistic :)
By support boosters, are you talking about gold usage, the support rewards collected, the amount of product contributed after the challenge was completed, or amount after the bar was filled?

has anyone gotten this yet.. I certainly have not .. however it flashes that it was started on the 30th of april.. as far as I can see none of my co op has it .. when are we actually going to get it
Have a look at the May event's calendar. The new event for the deco valley will begin May 5
    *Pleasure Park* - 03/05/2019 - 07/05/2019  (Subject to change)

I'm really happy to know GGS is working on making sure we have as bug free a new event as we can get.  It is much better to wait than to have issues while playing the new Pleasure Park event.  Thanks @WascallyWabbit for the update.
  • JVD (US1) said:
@gavinfarms (US1) you will see the happiness in each of the stalls, there shouldn't be a need for a happiness meter on the farm itself as it is just a deco storage area being used for an event. IMHO
Suppose that I want to prepare for the event, between events......image that?

I bought gas tonight on the way home tonight.  The pump cuts off when the tank is full.  There is absolutely no need whatsoever for a meter....but they have one.  I find it utterly fascinating that we are dreaming up excuses for GGS to do sub-par work.
@gavinfarms (US1) As I said, once the event starts,  if you find that a happiness counter is needed, we will put it in the feedback, that will hold more weight than us saying now Gavin thinks he is going to need a happiness counter for the event, because his car has a fuel gauge. :)

Also,  I am unable to look through my decos at the inventory drop box, it will revert back to a previous page.
I.E. I click through to page 7 8 9, but then it always changes back to page 4 ?!?!?!?
    ITS BROKEN  :s

    Edit:
I'm thinking this could be a separate issue from Greta since I have noticed they've added buttons to advance the pages.

Yes, there is a bug there. I can arrive to half of my pages but next time I click on the > it goes backwards... and then forward and backwards again... sometimes it works, most times it doesn't work. Same with < button if I start from the other end: sometimes it works, other times doesn't work at all.

    Edit: correct typos
Yep, its happening to others in my coop as well.  :(

The event has happiness meter, but after a while the sevidores came down and had to remove it

An unofficial update appears to be more balance and variety in the  contracts.

Timed contracts now appear to be doable, or is it just a coincidence?

Good to see a contract that asks for alfalfa. Presumably there will be contracts that also ask for rutabaga. Wildflowers were getting boring.

Yep, down-low, "unofficial," hehehehe. :D    I received a contract asking for alfalfa this morning, which I thought was odd since I don't remember contracts ever asking for them before.    I do sense an overall change has been made as I'm seeing more contracts asking for goods produced from the bakery/flower shop...
     ...balance... hmmm.  :|

It is not about whether the event needs one or not.....the Deco Farm should have a happiness gauge.  I have been withholding additional comment, because this is so insane.  I literally cannot think of words for this problem because it is so mind-numbing insane.  Once again, GGS made a mistake and they are trying to pass it off as though they "out thought" us.  They forgot to put the happiness meter on there.  And that is fine. I am not made about that.  Mistakes happen.  But it is absolutely insulting for them to pretend that this was part of some grand strategic plan.....which it was not.

They a made a simple oversight/error.  Again......I am fine with that.  But lying to us and trying to pass it off as "planned".....no, that is not fine.  And, I remain bizarrely confused by players who are covering for them.

@gavinfarms (US1)   I think for once we need to be on GGS side.  They specifically said they would not be allowing the use of happiness to reflect on our farms when we placed deco in the valley.  That was from the beginning.  I remember it being explained if they allow the happiness on the valley then all the deco from each farm would count per each of those farms, which would raise the happiness value.  I agree, a meter would be nice but how do they do that and not have the deco happiness count for all the farms they came from?

They didn't forget. It wasn't an oversight. The Deco Valley is storage, and no one could reasonably expect "storage" items to contribute to our farms' happiness. The mistake made was allowing the fence and gate to be upgraded.

P.S. Not covering for them. Very insulting for you to say that of players who pay attention and read the announcements.

I agree that it was probably not an error on GGS' part. The original intent of the Decoration Valley was as storage to display extra decorations so that you didn't have to dismantle them... I think that after they scrapped the other permanent farm they had been planning to add, they came up with a better use for the Deco Valley, and created a new event for it.

First, let me be clear....There are very few farmers who have been as positive toward GGS as I have.  I have been in this forum for 6 years.  There are countless occasions when I was the only one taking their side.  That having been noted, around two years ago, there was a definite change by GGS toward more obfuscation than in the past.  Lately, they claim everything was "intentional" after the fact, and when something happens way after the fact, they suggest that I applaud their foresight, when none existed.

I want to make ery clear what my exact frustration is, because several do not understand.  I am not mad whatsoever that there is no happiness meter.  I would like one, but its absence does not anger me in the slightest.  I am mad that they are trying to sell its absence as some grand plan......which it was not.  They built the Deco valley and then way later they came up with an event.  The omission of the meter had absolutely nothing to do with the event.  And we all need to stop pretending otherwise.  Again, let me be clear......i am not remotely mad that there is not a meter......only that I am supposed to buy into the notion that there was some grand connection between the two, when there was not.

Separately.......as I understand the event, the total amount of happiness in the Valley...very much matters.  If this number matters, then I need to be able to maximize this number in advance.  Am I supposed to add up all of the decos in the Valley?.....of course not.  I need to know that total, so that I can remove and replace decos until I reach the best arrangement.    I cannot speak for others, but I prepare for every event.  Planning and strategy is part of the game....is it not?

I hear ya, but at the same time my understanding of this event is such as this.

When you prepare the buildings to place onto the Deco Valley so your customers can purchase from you all the happiness you need will be part of that preparation.  You will put that happiness in the valley to fulfill the needed requirement to be able to use the building on the valley.  So, there is no pre-preparations to do.  The happiness needed is not available to us now, and won't be until the event begins.  But again, you will only know what kind of happiness is needed by the buildings requirements for you to place it onto the valley.  The building will dictate that.  So, no happy meter is really truly needed.

Now, this is my understanding of the event.   If this is otherwise not true I would hope that @WascallyWabbit or another moderator will let us know.  Peace @gavinfarms (US1)

Update:  I also wanted to add that I do believe we can add more happy to the deco valley if we have space for it after we load the buildings and place them onto the valley field.

@Seeker1 (US1) Does this continue to happen after you reload your game?  I can't reproduce it at all. :/

Yes, in my case, the problem continues after I reload the game. :(

    Edit:
When I'm at main farm, it will revert to page 4.
When I'm at gourmet farm, it will revert to page 4.
When I'm at flower farm, it will revert to page 9.

I've figured out possibly why its happening or how you would be able to replicate the error:
The local inventory at my main farm has 4 pages of decos.
The local inventory at my gourmet farm has 4 pages of decos.
The local inventory at my flower farm has 9 pages of decos.

My drop box inventory has 15 pages of decos,
So depending which farm I'm on, the drop box thinks it has the same number of pages as the local inventory, and will revert back to that last page and wont go any higher.

If anymore has a drop box, deco inventory that has more pages than their local inventory.
Please test my theory, thanks in advance.  :|

Yes, I observe exactly the same here. It does depend on the number of pages of the current's farm inventory.

And it doesn't do it immediately. You might have to let it sit on "Page 15" for 30-60 seconds before it reverts back to Page 4.  So there's some activity that's triggering it, like a crop maturing, or some timer somewhere that's updating behind the scenes..

Any more info about the new subscription is welcomed.

  • @gavinfarms (US1) I really can't see why you think GGS have misled you, so I think we are going to have agree to disagree on that one. As others have said, the deco valley was added as visible additional storage & a place to show off your decos, so there was no need for a happiness meter. Then from feedback saying that it should have more of a purpose, they looked into the idea of running events there & while happiness is important in this event, it is only so because it brings visitors and they are what you want, so the visitor counter is more relevant. However, canco from ES1 has very helpfully posted this for you:

ES1 was one of the servers testing the event & that shows both your happiness and how many visitors that converts to, which as you can see, the amount of happiness per visitor changes as you go along, probably in a similar way to the number of fish per point in the GFR. So it looks like the event does show the information you wanted & as for pre-preparation, after the 1st run you will know what you need to prepare for the 2nd one & you can use the info from that screenshot to give you some guide for now....... Thankyou @canco (ES1)

@seeker1 (US1) & others you are not alone, there have been reports from other communities of the same behaviour, though it does not appear to be happening to everyone - Personally I cannot get it to happen at all, I have tried everything from your descriptions. Anyhow, it has been reported.

@TMKC (IN1) The new package should arrive this week & hopefully we will have some more info about it to post on Monday or Tuesday.

    GOLD LOCK FAILS AGAIN

It failed by purchasing milk to make honey cream in the flower shop.  I was low on milk, having donated it all.  I restarted all items on the flower farm, because I have been gone all day.  It purchased a lot of milk, for gold,  and deducted it from my account without warning.

(Before anyone asks.....YES, I know how the gold lock works.  I have it set to "1" and it works all the time on other items).

Do I get this gold back?

Known issue. Were you using one of those "convenience" thingies that starts all production with one click?

That has happened to me too @gavinfarms (US1) when using the Swift seeder. There is a way to avoid it happing again until they get it fixed. Pause for a second before you click on the swift seeder button to make sure it isn't blue.
