Well, I've been using flash, but you guys convinced me that the problem was fixed, so I tried HTML today.  I can highlight the meme address, but neither ctrl C nor ctrl X will actually copy it.

so I went back to flash

I am livid. Because my cursor got stuck again in the move/fist mode, I tried to unstick it and managed to hit the "repeat harvester" button.  Gold is a precious commodity, and to waste it because of problems in the game is infuriating.

    LOL!
  • MRG1 .. I've done that twice now. :( It is really frustrating !
  • Also, I haven't been able to use my touch screen as far as .. touching it to move it around without using my censor. I hate it, bc sometimes I like to sit with my laptop in my lap & play without any muse or mouse pad.

So far in my case and my sisters', HTML works very well on Chrome, decent on Firefox, horrible on Opera (with Chrome configuration), and barely on Edge. Our accounts in INT server MUST still use flash stand-alone. Don't understand the server connection. If the other browser issues can't be addressed and flash becomes unavailable, we will be forced to leave behind accounts we have heavily invested in over a few years.

I have decided that I won't bother to try and run HTM until after New Year's, why? because right now I am on the 3rd day for the Rudolph deer Gifts and I do not want to mess that up no way no how, as I do not know if that is even running on the HTML version and do not want to go there to find out, so I will stay in Flash until then, after the Holidays are finished cause I know they are working in Flash version.

    Hi Guys
Still having same problem with screen colour change google chrome all up to date.
Screen freezes and goes blank for a second or so then colour changes and screen comes back also when i go to the next farm its fine its really strange whats happening like i said before it doesn't happen using Flash only HTML.

This is a result of slow loading, there's a lot of reasons for this but on your end it could be your hardware or internet connection speed for example. On our end it doesn't seem to affect every player so it's not a general issue at least, but performance and load issues are something we are trying to improve on at the moment.

when Im playing in Html my cursor virtually dissapears.  There is still a little line but I can only see it under certain circumstances.  On the other hand the mini fishing game is much better in html than flash
Oh dear! Which browser are you using? We had some issues with the cursor for those using Edge but I thought we had those sorted for now. If not, let me know and I'll forward it.

HTML continous bugs: font size & clarity + misalignment issues...

I have mostly the arrow cursor now in HTML (yeay), but sometimes it still reverts back to "I" on some days. I haven't figured out yet why.
The display issues I hope will be resolved soon, I know they are driving some people nuts. It also seems to be different per user, I for example have quite a clear view of things (not bragging! Ok, maybe a little ^^) but it's known, team is on it! About the cursor issue, as I said to Big Beck I'll forward that one. Bit annoying and thought we had it licked but it looks like that isn't the case.

I was mostly gone for 6 wks.  So sad to see none of the problems fixed.  I have really tried to use html, but I don't have the arrow cursor.  It's almost impossible w/ the lag to figure out where the "I" is to use it.  While in html I could not log into the forum. It wouldn't accept my info.  I use edge.. don't know the version and don't know why you would build a game that WE have to help the professionals to fix. I just assumed this would have been all cleaned up by now. I see all these events going on at once.  No one in my coop is interested in them any more.  Really sad to see people leaving because the frustration level is so high.
I would highly recommend trying another browser for now, issues have been repaired in the time you've been away and the experience has improved for many but we still have cases where things aren't looking much better than they were previously. You seem to be one of the unluckier ones unfortunately, but we're working on it still and your reports help us! If you could let us know what browser version and OS version you have that would be fantastic!
    I am using chrome

Same here. This must be related to some of us not seeing if we've been sparkled, and don't realize until too late if we are busy harvesting.

Absolutely terrible results using HTML. No audio, ridiculous lag, some things missing, blurry images and text. I have used it in IE, Firefox and Chrome. All 3 have numerous issues, albeit not the exact same ones. The biggest constant between all 3 is incredible lag after only 5 minutes of being logged in. Doing missions that involve harvesting/replanting is a total waste of time. Doing the same (harvesting/planting) for night runs is now a 45 minute project instead of 10 - 15 minutes. And then you add insult to injury by asking us to do a poll every time we log on?

20+ pages of disgruntled players speaking out doesn't paint a good enough picture of how disastrous this HTML venture has been?

    @CM_Hunter

I have been playing HTML5 version on the latest version of Chrome on Windows 10. I didn't know right clicking would cause in-game actions. It never did in Flash and still doesn't. Last Wednesday, I somehow right clicked a gold purchase of land unintentionally due to the lag issue where you can connect on a button and never see a window pop up and that there is no 2 second delay on that button. I would never have bought this land for gold as I have more than 10 times enough for a farm dollar purchase.

This whole process was started because my release of a click-and-drag acted like I had clicked.

Unfortunately, support sees these issues to be normal and all fault is on my part. I suggest that support needs a new outlook, to be more helpful instead of asking for patience while the kinks are worked out of the HTML5 version.

I love playing on HTML... much  faster and smoother than Flash and I can stay in game all day without having to refresh...  yes, there are a few kinks to work out... but that will come in time...

Please bring the presents to the html version of the Festive Farm so I can make the bear dance without having to go to flash... did it once to see it, but won't go again!

    thanks

Display issue. Any horse training in the Riding Circle will just disappear. If you hover over it, however, it will state that a horse is training there. Equally, it suddenly will reappear now  and then.

  • HTML keeps crashing. If I click to see what is needed for the village challenge it crashes every time.

Just a heads-up to other players using Opera 56.0, while I was playing in HTML I couldn't see Tanuki's gifts or pranks at all. Had to switch to flash version just to be able to find them. The problem was fixed once I updated Opera to version 57.0.

The game freezes each time I go to the FF.  Each and every time I have to log out and back in to fix it.  Still the same problem going to the FF.

Ok after reading some of the posts on the other thread bout if Flash is safe, I have decided to go back to the HTML before the Holidays are over, it seems that the Rudolf Xmas Gifts is the same as it was on Flash for Me, both are on day 4 thank goodness, I do hope that those that are saying they were Hacked and what not get the solutions they need, and I hope they all do enjoy there game again, :)
Update> I logged into My HTML Game again this morning only to Find out that again the Cursor changed from the ( Arrow ) to the ( I ) again when I tried to do the daily mission, and I had a ton of lag, it was horrible trying to go from  one farm to the next, when I tried to go to My flower farm the game would freeze up in the middle of Transfer, then tell Me that it was not working due to a long script, no clue what that was about, but I clicked on the button that said stop script then the page went through, I decided after I had to fight to get through the daily mission with the (I) to log out of game then add Google Chrome Newest version to My task bar and to keep the Bing browser for Microsoft Edge 44 as  My default due to the fact Microsoft wants that there to work properly, so far I am not having any problems, but I will let you know if I do, but for now I will keep My Big Farm game in Google Chrome instead of Microsoft Edge 44 Bing.
Update again> It is a good thing that I kept My Bing in Microsoft Edge 44 due to the fact that I can not copy & paste anything from the Google Chrome version for some strange reason I know not, I was only able to do so for the Forums page when I did My Xmas pics and songs post with the bing & Microsoft version. So I guess I will be keeping both no matter what.

I cannot play in HTML. When FLASH is gone, so am I.  The cursor as an "I" and the slow response times make it impossible to play for me. It will be sad, but I'll get over it.  I have another farm game loaded and started when I need it!
  • Same issues HTML5 is ridiculously slow, click and count 10 sec is the best time, cursor jumps all over with a mind of it's own. I fear something is going to get deleted and not like you'd replace and resolve...and these stupid rapid pop-ups takes 30 mins before I can play. Somehow in closing boxes/pop-ups, I am now subscribed to Co-Op subscription? What is this and what did you steal? to put that in play. I never bought this. I recently upgraded and tuned Microsoft Edge with all their programs etc. and Flash is compatible for my computer ...a game to relax and chill for awhile. I don't have 24/7 to play. Have work and things to do in real life okay. I've paid too much Gold and I expect service when I pay real money I worked hard for. I can play the game in a timely manner on FLASH especially with all the action in the game and why it was designed for On-Line Games. Some days I can go to the fishing region but most times it jumps around and can't do anything. These Co-Op Championships one after the other makes the game unplayable with downloading issues etc. It starts lagging the first day and not playable thru the rest and then picks-up on the last day...What a crock! Can't even coach and work with your team for the lousy chat & mail. if you share some info re: an event It freezes your play and takes 15-30 mins to download a short phrase And this has been since last spring if I recall. I think you'd better let people deal with their equipment as they see fit...we pay enough for service, computers etc we don't need to be bantered to spend real cash on a make-believe game that's suppose to be FUN. It takes about 3x  and 30mins later to finally log-in and play. You guys gotta get this sorted

I too have your same problems.  When flash disappears, I will have to as well.  The flashing "I" is difficult to see and gives me a headache. The lag makes it impossible to compete in missions.  I had assumed after my vacation and surgery, this would have been all fixed.  Instead, too many events, which cause more problems, taking tech staff away from the HTML mess they created. Stop it all and spend some much needed time on reworking the new version.  We all need a break anyway.

The advent calendar does not work properly in HTML version, I could not collect my present there today. I did it in flash version. There is no green "open" box in html as there is in flash version. I'm normally using Chrome and html version and it has worked quite okei.

Same here. Wasn't able to collect my reward yesterday at all.

Edited to add: switched to Flash and was able to collect the Day 7 reward. Lot of trouble for Special Rutabaga Seeds -- LOL!

I read somewhere that you wanted info on touch screen computers I bought mine about 3 years ago and have played big farm on it ever since and even though I bought it about 3 years ago it was recently for sale at Best Buy on Black Friday sales soo hardly outdated or too old
    Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series Inspiron 5559
    Processor  Intel core i3- 6100U CPU @2.3Ghz  2.3Ghz
    Installed Ram 6 .00 Gb ( 5.89 Gb useable )
System type 64 bit operating system , x64 based processor
Pen and Touch -  Touch support with 10 touch points
    Windows 10 home

My techs say the issues I am having are not with my computer but with background files that run within the game itself .  Maybe you need to defrag the big farm server or compress files down so that when you have soo much events running there isn't soo many things running in the background to operate those events .
This is a simple point and click game with not a lot of animation.

I am just 3 months short of playing 3 years but I bought this computer in June of 2016 . I just saw this same computer in the most recent Black Friday Add point being there could be more people signing up to play big farm with this same computer .I have played big farm using the Microsoft edge from the beginning it is only with the recent change to HTML that I have tried it with Google chrome also . I have played using the touchscreen but I mostly use a wireless mouse .  I have not tried playing in HTML lately because I have the same issues being reported on this thread and they do not appear to be resolved yet . Mouse turned to an ( I ) and couldn't find it ended up clicking on stuff I didn't want to click . Touch Screen has gone wild with touch screen overriding mouse and moving cursor . Sometimes this could  actually be something on the screen Touch screen is very very sensitive and need to be wiped off with rubbing alcohol on a really soft cloth like you would use to clean eyeglasses with or tissue but not paper towel it is to rough textured . I sneezed and even though we cover when we do that a little tiny droplet got on screen and caused it to think the touch screen was being operated had to shut down computer and clean it couldn't even see it . This is not always the case with the touch screen though Some of my issues have been solved by removing the battery for a while and having it unpluged at the same time like over night because simply restarting or refreshing or shutting down does not stop all the background files from running and big farm is all that is running or big farm and forum. I regularly keep cache deleted . Cursor has gotten stuck in fist or move screen mode . I have experienced some of the lag issues as well and harvesting issues. Graphics do appear a little blurry and harvest flags off center and sometimes way off from where they should be .  The fish in the pools do not move like the fish on flash on flash the fish move more fluently  on Html they are more dead .The mouse did stop flashing though . And when I try to switch back to play in Flash it seems to lock me out and not let me back in the game the log in screen just will not load in stays on watering trees polishing tractor and never lets me in . So I don't really want to go to HTML only to find the same issues are still there and not be able to get back in flash  . and that wether I use edge or chrome I have posted my edge version in previous posts chrome is 70 but most of what everyone else is reporting are my issues too.

  • Just starting today, the main farm (it seems, at least compared to the other farms) starts to lag very quickly after starting the game (within a minute).

I am using the HTML version of the game, in Chrome

Google Chrome is up to date
    Version 71.0.3578.80 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Flash visual of sparks and prank.

HTML view of sparks and pranks.  This HTML view is actually brighter than usual.  Normally there is no indication of any spark or prank on the farms.  Same with DSF area.  You cannot see there is a ghost rod on any of your boats until it is too late, and you click on it to collect.  This results in not knowing who gave you the honor of their time to visit your farm, and give you a little happiness.  It was already harder to see ghost rods in Flash version, but far worse in HTML.
