The deco displaying wrong happiness is the Fireape between apples and cowsheds on MF

Oh and to be able to use the job center workers, ive been producing bamboo on just one garden and one meadow. But now i cant do even that. 1 wet garden, 1 stony and 1 sandy and the same on meadows. Clicking on a worker in the ring menu does nothing besides that the ring menu disappear and clicking on the meadow again dont bring the ring menu up anymore. so no workers in the same "category" (wet/sandy/stony) can be hired more than once at all. Luckily the Flash version is still there

@Palomino Horse (SKN1) Thankyou - It looks like the deco display error exists for all decos with variable happiness, not just the Fire Monkey, well spotted :)

Your feedback regarding the specialists has also been passed on.
  • Found another display (hopefully) bug in html. In the themed buildings storage it shows only 1x of every building even if there should be more. Flash shows right amount. eg i have 5x tropical houses and 7x dandy ducks but storage shows 1x of both. The WWC trader shows the right amount though. Still using chrome
  • I am using chrome and IE. HTML for chrome is really slow and I cannot send Oleg to fishing, also cannot open the horse training page so I was forced to switch to flash. IE does not load at all for HTML.

Seems my last post is buried so will try again.

ADMINS... can you tell me how to load this game using Safari IN FLASH VERSION?

My Safari is dated now and cannot read HTML5 so all I get is a blue screen.  I can't get to the game to click the flash bar.

FIrefox is dreadfully sluggish even in flash version.   And in HTML5 version, though it works, it's so jerky, just unplayable.  Animations barely move, click anything..... wait.... wait....  I know it's early yet and everyone with all sorts of browsers are reporting issues so I'm sure this will improve as your programmers figure things out.
Meanwhile Flash will be around till 2020.  Can I please get it back using safari?  Game worked fine on that.

Maybe you guys set it to start up in what ever version we logged out in?  Not put that auto redirect thing on?  Maybe put up a banner saying at what date that version will no longer be an option?   SOMETHING?

At least for another year or so.... and if by then nothing improves, well... it's been fun.  I'll just exit my coops, log in monthly to keep my accounts alive and hope someday it gets better.    But that's a good year away as long as the flash version is available.

Lag for Edge in Flash was so bad I switched to HTML. Edge still has the flickering cursor. I went to Firefox HTML. It is working fine with sharp screen fast harvests. Tractors on right side of garage are in different positions. When switching farms with chat window open chat goes to start of day and takes several seconds to return to latest message. Can not send message with chat window in zoom

It would take 2 different development teams to update both versions of the game (HTML version and FLASH version) to do what you ask. You can't just update one version and the other one happens "automatically".

That would double the amount of staff hours required to support both versions of the game, and like we're seeing now, we'd have bugs in one version of the game that aren't present in the other version, and vice-versa.

Logistically, it just can't be done.

Congratulations to the Big farm technical team. The HTML5 version using Firefox is functioning really well.

One tiny display error is the amounts of themed buildings showing is incorrect. It shows as one, however I know I had more than that of the tropical and winter houses, waiting in inventory to be used when the farm has more land.

The ship has crashed into the wharf but seems to have since recovered.

The production buildings all show as having the ghost like graphic around their edges  (white in colour),  that the decorations all have. Is it possible that this contributes to the game's lag problems on other browsers? They did not have the ghost like appearance in the Flash version.

After playing on the HTML5 version (on Opera v55.0) for 4+ hours tonight without having to restart a single time, I can say that it looks like performance & long term stability is much improved over the days following the initial rollout.

I can't say whether or not it has something to do with the CC (or another event) not running, but I am going to try to make the HTML5 version my default environment at this point.

    MUCH improved.
  • What about puffin on mobile,He work perfectly before, now it does not work at all,
Not to mention that html5  does not work properly and all playing flash version
  • using chrome-windows 10 and i5 processor

flash  harvesting Wf on 19 fields 14 times
html 5  harvesting wf on 19 fields 12 times due to lag. also changing from my own farm to a coop members farm takes that much time i can make a coffee

In my eyes not the result as promised. On firefox the results are a bit better, but not that good to praize the day into heaven

I'm running  Firefox , its marginally slower than the stand alone Flash player, but graphics are much sharper. Shall be giving it an extended trial , looking good  ... :):):)

Most disturbing of all is the e-mail received from GGS, stating we will not be given the option to choose much longer, and that everything will be HTML only.  That is the day I quit playing -- I am very serious!!
Note that this is not something we can decide, Flash is going to be phased out over the next couple of years so even if we wanted to keep the game running in Flash we couldn't. We won't remove the option to switch until the game is more stable though, so don't expect we'll suddenly remove your options before the reported issues have been looked at :)

And as a more general announcement to those of you in this thread (we'll also make a more official announcement through the mods but since I'm here), HTML5 will be activated from Chrome version 69 and above from tomorrow on! Flash will still be available, as with the other browsers. Make sure you have the latest version of Chrome and give us your feedback!

Ok just tried HTML on Chrome. Seems kind of laggy and everything looks a little fuzzy.

I then hit the in game forum icon and tried to log on. I was told my email is not verified. I have received Emails from GGS in the past but its been a long time. Maybe due to my works spam filter.

I still managed to get onto the forum using I.E.

Edge 42.17134.1.0, set to clear cache and cookies each time I close the browser.

In HTML,cursor flickering is reduced, but still there  and lag on animations is almost gone.  Don't know whether this is because CC is over or not.  When it starts making me crazy, I switch back to flash

edited to add:  lag went way up in the evening, when I assume more players were logged in.

I tried all three mobile browsers that are recommended in the new announcement.  None ever got me in the game.  Chrome and Firefox seemed to get "farther".

No access via mobile devices (iPads, etc.) is just not tenable as a permanent solution.  I will be mostly cut out of the game.

Yeah, no luck for me either with Firefox 62.0.1 on Android (Samsung Galaxy S8+, Android v7.0/Nougat).

I can get to the login page, but as soon as I click on the Username or Password field on the Login Tab, the keyboard flashes up, then goes away and the field looses focus.  Pretty much the same thing Puffin did.

Chrome won't start working until tomorrow at the earliest, as the Android version still redirects to the Flash version, and of course you can't install Flash on Android, so that's a dead-end.

I'm not asking them to keep updating the flash version.  But for now at least what ever version they still have is working.  It was working great on safari.   Little bit sluggish with firefox.
The HTML5 version simply will not load at all on safari so I can't get to the  page to switch it back.
And on firefox the game is darn near unplayable. But at least I got to the page to switch it. Can't get there in safari.
At least until they work out the MANY bugs.  Hopefully by the time flash dies (over a year) they will get the new version glitch free.  (Ok, one can hope.)

Ok, I have played on the HTML version *all day* (about 13 hours worth), without having to restart ONCE.

I did restart around 5pm server time, so that it would give me the "Daily Reward", but that was because I had to restart to get the reward, not because the game was slowing down or lagging.

In fact the game has remained lag-free for me all day, running just as fast after 6+ hours of play as it did when I first logged in this morning.  The "memory leak" effect appears to be gone. Yay!

Even loading the boats after 6+ hours of play is instant - the crew appears on the boat as fast as I can SHIFT+CLICK, making loading the boats take only a few seconds each.

If it stays this way during the CC, I'll be ready to ditch the Flash version of the game for good.

(This is on Opera 55.0, btw, which uses the Chromium engine).  I haven't tested FireFox today, as doing so would have required me to log out of Opera, which would have invalidated my 13+ hour longevity test.

    @CM_Hunter

Am I to presume that the HTML5 Front-End version of the game can be updated "on the fly", I.E., without needing to log people out of the game so that they will be forced to download the new .SWF file?  (You may have to ask the Engineers that one).

I'm very impressed with the amount of improvement that has been shown just over the past few days.  :)

  • @Artmaker (GB1) Whether a browser works with HTML5 or not is down to the browser not GGS, if it is not HTML compatible, it will not work.

As you can see on the 2nd tab on this website  (other browsers) Safari is HTML capable on various versions, but none of them score very highly. :/

Came back to play a few hours to check out how HTML5 is going.  Much more responsive when collecting and resetting on fields, animals, etc.  the notification that something is ready is still too high off the field, or animal pens.

The collecting of fish notification (blue fish above the boats) is still way up in the air as was before, so you don't know which boat it belongs to.   Loading the boats is far more responsive than it was before, however, it is still the same issue regarding looking at the pools in DSF, and having it show you what is in the pool without having to click on it.  Still have to click on it and often have to click twice to get it to open the info box.  The timer shows when a boat will be ready from a pool and takes you to the fishing area, but it does not show you which boat is ready, or what pool it is on.

Opening events in the parking lot is mostly very responsive, sometimes it is still too long to wait for an event to open when clicked on.  When moving from farm to farm it is much more responsive as well, but still sometimes too long to wait for loading.

Otherwise, much better than before.  Still using the latest firefox.

    @Lindaj (GB1)

Chrome has been active for HTML5 for about 4 hours now. If you have been having problems with it for the past few days, you will need to update your Chrome browser (to the newest version) because there are some issues with the slightly older version of Chrome.

So, please update your browser and let us know if you are back in the game !

Using Chrome and I have 3 issues.

If a field/orchard/stable is clicked on to start production, but it doesn't get started for whatever reason I lose the ZZ's that show it is inactive.

Second is someone borrowed my tractors from the garage and parked them in the wrong places when they returned them.

The other thing is HTML5 won't keep my PC awake like Flash player did when I walk away for dinner or what not.

    Chrome version Version 69.0.3497.100

Same problems when HTML first rolled out before the Chrome update.

After a very quick start, within just a few minutes, terrible, terrible lag.

    Cursor locks into move mode.

Hovering over fish pools won't tell you what's in the pools.

After planting fields, ZZs pop back up again

Did I mention lag is terrible -- so much so, I had to log off after just a few minutes.

Selecting amounts to sell/donate very difficult.
