so i am not happy
IE won't be included but that's not a decision made by us, it was made for us by Microsoft. IE is an older browser now and Microsoft are focusing on Edge and phasing out IE. That means we won't be able to support that browser because Microsoft themselves will only be performing basic security updates and trying to get their customers to switch over to Windows 10 and Edge. I know it can be a pain to learn a new browser but it may be your only option in the near future if you're using IE. As technology develops IE will become less and less usable over time so the advice is to switch now and get the smoothest experience you can.
It will indeed, it only plays Flash based content and eventually we will switch to a full HTML5 release, meaning it won't work in Flash player anymore. You're free to continue using it for now but we really recommend switching over to a browser.
Oooo, you're on quite the system there! I get the feeling you're playing more than Big Farm on that
please never take the flash away
Chromium 69.0.3497.81, Built on Ubuntu , running on Ubuntu 16.04 (64-bit)
Here is where the swiching between versions or flashing appears:
Firefox quantum 62.0 (64bit) Mozilla Firefox for ubuntu canonical 1.0
Once home, I loaded BF in Chrome. I was on the flash version, and tried several times to select the html version. Although I could select the button, and I got the "if you switch, your game will reload" message, it never actually switched me back to html. It was only when I logged out and back in that it gave me the html version.
In the HTML version, the graphics are often not crisp (e.g. when laying down new fields, feeding animals, etc., the circle choices are fuzzy, and any pop-up saying harvest is ready has a blurry image), and there is overlap. For example, my quantities of super fertilizer are on the same line as my premium fertilizer, and so it looks as if I have 1,46699,999+, instead of 1,466 of one and 99,999+ of the other.
Also, when I hovered over my fields to confirm size of crop, I couldn't just go from one to the next. it wouldn't actually display the pop-up window unless I wiggled my cursor on some other part of the farm before going to the next field.
I saw earlier comments about sparkles not being visible. I think they are slightly visible, but they don't stand out the way they do in flash:
Flash HTML
Finally, and what encouraged me to write in, the farm production machines are not in the same order in HTML as in Flash. I automatically set particular machines to specific levels (e.g. Powerhouse gets 50% when I harvest my overnight animals, but Humus Pro, Special Press and Farm Flash get 20%). This morning, I discovered I had set an Amphibian unintentionally, and my Powerhouse was on 20% because I didn't notice the order switch on time.
Tried to log from Puffin but it does not even start.
Before i could use Puffin easily but now BF logging page does not show

I am using Chrome.
On fields that had edge plants, I would click on them & the pop up balloon disappears. Then I can’t do anything with them.
Sometimes I can’t sell everything in the barn when the barn is full. It will only let me sell the amount over what the barn holds. If I reload the game it works.
The lag is bad, but the worst of it is the deep sea fishing. When loading a boat I click one item, wait for it to appear, click another item, wait… etc. It takes way too long to load a single boat. When I am working on it, the text flashes back & forth between two different sizes.
That is just the highlights. I have switched back to Flash & things are working again. Please to don’t take away the ability to use flash until all of this is fixed. With these problems the game is not playable.
By the way, I have already cleared cookies, reset modem, etc.
- mouse pointer freezes when "moving around screen" have to double click otherwise remains in "moving-screen mode"
- the ponds in the DSF freeze, no longer show the fish swimming smoothly.
- When clicking on the ponds to appoint boats, the whole thing freezes, boat showing up after looong seconds, that's also new since HTML switch.
- When hovering over any field/building, it lights up slightly as if it was sparkled/gifted, is that supposed to be?
- gifts/sparkles less obvious as before?
- the watering can over an unwatered cooptree is not showing for me on other farms
CONS: A slight lag in response time, way too hard to read fonts in menu boxes.
PROS: Fewer error messages :-)
Plus I started the weekly. When I went to donate eggs, I got an orange error message saying I didn't have enough eggs. I tried typing in an amount less than the full amount that was in the barn. That worked, so I got the eggs donated in a few steps.
These problems seem to be just with apples & eggs. I am not even using HTML5 right now!
LMFAO
I am fairly certain HTML isnt working for any Chrome user, as originally stated that Chrme would be the last when version 70 is up and running
When using the flash to Html button all thats happening is swithing from Flash to Flash
The address bar should have HTML5 in there as in my screenshot you'll see it does not !
So Chrome users look for HTML5 in the address bar
If you're having issues with FF or Edge and the game is not loading for you please try clearing your cache and cookies.
IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU CLEAR THE ENTIRE CACHE AND COOKIES!
If you only delete an hour's worth of cookies or don't follow the steps we might not be able to help you very efficiently. Delete all the data from your cache in the browser you are using and it may be the case that you can get back to playing the game. We know it's a pain in the very lower back but this step is extremely important in us being able to assist you and you getting back to playing.HTML5 Checklist
- Have I cleared my cache and cookies? ☐
- Have I cleared ALL of my cache and cookies? ☐
- Have I got the latest version of my browser? ☐
- Have I tried re-installing the browser? ☐
- Have I tried resetting my router? ☐
If you can tick 5 boxes, let us know in this thread, give us the browser you are using and the version number of the browser too. This is also really important for us helping out, so in this thread don't forget:A report isn't a report without a browser version
Thanks everyone, keep up the great feedback and we will keep passing your details to the team.
