  • I would like to see some challenges without trees. It's impossible to have 10,000 apples for 5 challenges back to back. Same for almonds. That part is too repetitive and those fast ferts give too little to make a difference.

It would also be nice if they dropped the cow feed because it's almost impossible to get the feed in 30 minutes.

When do the support rewards kick in? It might be nice to have those prizes.

On a positive note, it's nice to work together to get rewards. Would like to see something besides the same two in the boxes, but I'm giving up on them listening to a word we say.

I dont know if this has been pointed out earlier - but the challenge should end when it reaches 100%.
Now you have to wait until the time runs out.
No, no.  It's going BEYOND 100% that builds up your points & boosters.  You want to go as far beyond 100% as you can.
  • It is very boring to have to sit on ALL our harvests for forever. And it is hurting normal production very much. We are farmers, not gamblers. Besides, they should have a skipping mechanism like missions. If we finish early we should be able to go on to the next. Long products in short missions are ridiculous.

I already complete the 50/50 "hard work reward" prizes.
Some player in my group said their rewards reset and they are able to earn multiple pegasus carousel decos.... but its not happen for me.
So for the remainder of the event I am participate but earn no more prizes???
6 days seem like long event to play with very few prizes.

There's no such thing as finishing early.  You add points throughout the entire time of the challenge.  Collecting 100% is just the beginning of earning points, you want to exceed that amount by 3, 4, 5 times or more.

Southern (usa), I have checked after a challenge, and that middle window in rewards overview is showing your total personal points, and NOT the points you still need. It is increasing after each challenge, not decreasing.

I like the concept, but it just needs to have a lot of kinks worked out.

The amounts are too high.  We are normally in the top 10 of every CC and the top 5 of every HW.  We are almost never finishing a category, and thus no boosters and so one.

We need bug fixes as asap.

Is the Wheel of Fortune that pertains to this, ever going to show up?

You need to play shorter (easier) challenges and build up your boosters.  I doubt if anyone besides the Brats or Oasis can successfully complete those long challenges.  Victory Ridge gives us good competition in the CC's, so I know you guys are capable of it.   :)

I'm also finding it to be easier on the resources than CC's are.  I just do mostly normal farming unless using a little seaweed will add another 25% bonus to our points.
My feeling is that this event has limited the amount of influence a couple people with loads of gold to spend can have.  (Unlike the CC's!)
And the prizes are great!  Sure there are a lot of cracker-jack prizes, but I got over 500 seaweed feed and 3 gold mining licenses!  That makes me very happy!

support reward are already in you just get them during each challenge you do for first time 1 star challenge give just first 2 but 3 star gieve up to 100 if you manage to get thos personal point for them
just reward is for first challenge so dont challenge same coop repeatly

After several days of trying to make this work, it just isn't in it's current configuration -- at least not for us.

Only a few are still trying to win some rewards.

The ones who just want to farm can't do so because of the lag.

Just took a look at our member list, and it's a sea of white, yellow, and orange dots, when normally it would be mostly green.

That's just our coop. It might not be the same for others.
  • Two Taters Farm is out. We're tired of not farming. We can't fill contracts and we're tired of using seaweed to fill the challenges. We might appear to be second place, but so what? Those rewards aren't worth the gold needed to do essence of jasmine or soaps. It's just too much of a pain and too costly to compete. We also only have four people even logging in for more than ten minutes because it's not worth competing and they are going to other games. Big let down.

Today was the second morning I have woken up to find a cxhallenge going for over 10 hours against a coop of level 307 and it needs 1 million milk and the rest are products from flower farm which most of our coop dont have as yet.

Our coop is level 26 and we can not compete with a coop of level 307 who has nearly 65  members all of very high levels We have 15 players and are all relatively new to the game.  Our coop isnt even 3 months old yet.

I feel this isnt fair as their challenging us for 10 hours prevents us from challenging coops of around our own level and with products  that we can all produce........sorry but dont think this has been thought out.  The levels need to be with in a certain range to make it fair.

As this event is at present you can challenge a coop that you know cant compete with you and prevent them from progressing..........is obvious we wouldnt get anywhere.

There was nothing wrong with the Village League ....It was fun and challenging and fair cos you were only challenging a coop 1 above you giving a much fairer chance of progressing.

as you can see I can make 370 milk in 7 hours , I have 5 cow sheds no way can I produce enough to make 1 million milk as wanted? Just not got the capacity!!

As for what is wanted in the Flower farm thats just ridiculous .........majority of my team arent that advanced yet ......... can't produce what you dont have

I am really trying to like the VF, but the lag has killed any positive aspects of it for me. I'd rather play lag-free than get a bunch of ho-hum rewards, and I couldn't care less about coop ranking..
If I can't farm unless I log out (or get booted) every 10-15 minutes, there's no point in playing at all. Period.

I hear you. We're hardly in 2nd place, but the end result is the same. It's not worth it to us to lose valuable members for some feed and seed and horseshoes.

sorry but you are mistaken a coop can not challenge you but anyone in your coop can start a challenge 10 min after a challenge as stooped running so some one in your coop is starting the challenge i am guessing they do not understand they can change the settings and look for a easier challenge that lasts 30 min with only main farm stuff the name of the coops on the challenges dont mean much but to give each challenges a way to see it is different a rough idea of how hard the challenge will be and you do not have to complete a challenge to get points you get points for everything you collect in that challenge

No one has challenged you. Someone in your coop obviously started a very difficult level 3 challenge. (And you aren't competing against another coop. For some silly reason, they decided to name the challenges after coops.)

Please limit who can start these challenges to leaders and deputies.  Also, please display who started a challenge.  We are now stuck in an impossible challenge because someone in our group decided to pick the hardest challenge and then hop offline.  I am literally the only player online now and stuck with this foolishness.  I need to know who is trying to ruin our cooperative so I can ask them to leave it to the leaders to start challenges and remove them if they don't listen.
i don't know if you are aware of this -- there are some ppl out there that are hackers -- and, they join and cause trouble for the coop -- usually, they are low level farms -- i've had it happen to me -- and, now i won't let anybody in that is lower than 50 -- i know it's a pain -- hope you find out who did it
  • is there any way how i can find out who is starting challanges in our coop
we had decided not to play them any more and if only a short1 and only 1 or 2 a day at most becuase it is rediculous how the game reacts in a challenge it is simply not playeble
but 1 person seems to keep starting challenges 1 after an other and i would like to know who it is

HAHAHA!  Someone just made a brilliant suggestion -- all challenges set at difficult, but achievable levels. BUT, each coop is charged 500,000 gold (or whatever amount) to participate.  GGS gets their pound of flesh, the participants get fair challenges, and the rest of us are spared disappointment and frustration. LOL!

I'm starting to get the hang of this event, but the interface is way too complicated with all the filters, different time limits, pages filled with similar challenges, bonus calculations, and unclear rewards for winning.  When I finish playing this "video game" maybe I'll relax for a while and balance my check book.

Starting challenges needs to be restricted to leaders and deputies. We are having low level players wondering in, starting 12 hr+ challenges and then leaving without contributing a single thing, leaving it sitting at 0%. This means we have to wait till it is finished to start manageable 30 minute challenges. There is no proper control over this, just like with the village challenges, same problem.

Thanks for that info but as its happening to many coops and around the same time so wondering if GGS has a bug happening which just automatically starts one against highest coop..........

  • GeryM (NL1)GeryM (NL1) NL1 Posts: 12
It would be verry nice if the Village Fair only can be started by the chairman or vice chairmans of the cooperation. And also I would be very pleased that you can see the name of the player who starts the Village Fair.
  • its boring , a lot of work for very few rewards

I'm pretty sure that's not the case.  The Search function defaults to opening up on Page 5 of the challenges, which is where all the long, hard projects are.  Any mis-clicks while trying to find out what it's all about can start that challenge.
I would suggest to GGS that they default that page opening to Page 1 or maybe Page 3.  That way, when someone makes the mistake you only get stuck in a shorter, easier challenge.
  • gizmo22 (AU1)gizmo22 (AU1) AU1 Posts: 1,720
Its definetely not a bug.......the challenge was started by someone in your coop. It has happened in my group as well but luckily the clicker kept it short and didn't ruin the even by starting a 12 hour challenge. GGS should either limit challenge starts to leaders and deputies only or give us all a notification of who actually started the challenge......it would avoid a lot of drama.

This request has also been forwarded.

Seems that this event further confirms what i have been believing for quite some time...

When GGS is designing a new event, the question they should ask is: How can we make this event fun for all?
However, instead of this they ask themselves: How can we milk our remaining cash cows even dryer?

Also they seem to forgot that they don't really have that many players left. For example,  international server shows about 18000 weekly players, from this amount roughly half are newbies that have popped in once and quit. And maybe couple thousand are daily players..when you divide this among 3000 coops the problem is obvious.
