Perhaps (we can only hope) that the expert game designers have worked out a way to enable more COOPs to win more seaweed (instead of just one getting the majority).  Now wouldn't that be fun? :)

Its up to the coops to participate or not participate, designers cant come and play to help you I am afraid

The designers however can program a logic game which is fun and flows properly, and so far they are not doing a great job, they rather seem to wipe off things too easily without looking at consequences other than gold sales

No designers can re-balance a game when there is an in-balance.

The way the village league/hill was caused an in-balance as huge amounts of medals were only available to 1 team (nothing to do with skill/logic or tactics).  This made massive amount of seaweed available to the minority.

Could I see there was an in-balance (hell yes), did it bother me (not really), do I recon the game could get far more interesting depending on what changes are made - Hell yes!

    Happy gaming :)

    needless to say, I disagree

Of course you disagree as this re-balance will see PO the biggest loser of seaweed (on UK server).

Anyway my bed is calling.  Night be careful not to stub your toe on your Gumball deco on your way.

    Nice one Sarah.

Next few CC`s and CHWE`s will be fun now its all even, no boosters no seaweed no medals haha.

A levelish playing field, well done GGS you`ve achieved something good out of all this.

    Bring on the CC`s  ;)

BJs (US1)    I use the stand alone flash player and do have lag.
Wow sorry farmer Letty - there is no lag here - I   up graded to  Adobe Flash Player 26.0 r0 Thursday, ‎August ‎03, ‎2017, ‏‎11:25:26 PM - I have had no problems except booting when visiting a temp farm, after a few hours use.

Much-needed simplifications would make it better for players.

The naming of the challenges after coops is silly and confusing. And, blindly choosing challenges not knowing what the needed items are is frustrating.

Why not just let us choose difficulty/length level -- one star to three. After the level is chosen, let us choose "baskets" like in the Village League.

It seems like the team goes out of its way to make things overly complicated which takes away from the fun. (Memo to GGS: Games are supposed to be fun.)

Sometimes simple is better.  Just sayin' ...

Has anyone found where the total number of Personal Challenge Points are listed?

I've found the one for the Co-Op of course (in the rankings), and I can see what my next "Personal Hard Work Reward" level is, but I can't seem to find how many points I've earned in the event overall.

I know it's more than 15,913 and 18,731 for instance (that's the amount between the Personal Hard Work Reward levels I'm currently on), but I can't seem to know exactly how many I've earned..
  • Is anyone else having trouble getting anything but 30 minute challenges to pop up? We want to do something longer but nothing will pop up for us. Using filter set to anything time wise and then only things we haven't done and two farms. I get nothing.

    @Farmer Kissy (US1)

All the longer challenges seem to be on Page 5 (1-hour - 14-hour)..

There may just not be any long challenges with 2 stars. I think most of the 1-hour+ challenges are all 3 stars.

Has anyone been able to find the challenge named after their own coop in their list?

I haven't been able to find the challenge named Eden Initiative yet.  If anyone on INT1 can locate it, and tell me the Performance Score number below the badge on the left so I can find it in my list, I would be quite appreciative.

    Nope.

That shows the amount I need for my NEXT reward (18,731), but I can't find a display that shows my CURRENT amount.

I think they forgot to add it. :)

Wishful thinking due to gross miscalculations of how much seaweed and medals were involved

Applauding the disappearance of a good reward for your personal satisfaction is childish to put it mildly

I believe that if you open the "Show me" window located on the right hand side of your screen. You can find your personal points top right ish and if you go to the hard-work rewards it shows you your total so far you have collected.

That only shows the number of Challenge Points you've collected during that particular challenge. Still haven't found a display for the total number of (personal) points I've collected since the start of the event. :(

@Southern (US1) Yes On the "Show me" window it only shows the current challenge totals. But if you go into the event through the parking lot and have a look at the "Hard work" area for the event.
The total number of points you have collected should be showing in the hard work area of the event. Seeing it's a running total linked to the event it self seems to me that is or should be ones total points so far that one has collected.

That's just how any points you need for the next reward.  I have less than that (25,482), but more than for the previous reward (which required 21,911 points), so I know I'm somewhere in between - but I can't find a place where it shows me the exact number (so I know how many I need to get to that 25,482 reward).. Do I need 1,000 more points? 2,000?

I'd kinda like to know, especially when I get up higher and the spread between 2 rewards is in the neighborhood of 35,000 points. :)

Yes and you're right @Southern (US1) it only shows the amount for the next reward, not how much you currently have. Got ya yes that would be handy. :)

I agree. How will it even things up? Last time I checked the Shinkei event and CC Wheel run every time we have a CC so players can get millions of reputation points right there. Should farm labs also be removed because your farm isn't strong enough to compete?

I see the boosters are now ticking during challenges. Are the automatic ones (without gold) that a coop can build during challenges now working?

Lag is my only problem with it. Its only money grabbing if you choose to open your wallet. My coop is doing just fine playing normally and I prefer this to the CC because there are no cheat options in this event ......yet!

    @gizmo22 (AU1)

yes as far as I can tell the boosters you gain collecting the 4 products work fine

Thank you.  Its not there on my list - I'm guessing no one has their own challenge.

I found Insomnia on my list - badge score 4879 right below Iranland (4894) and above Brbljivice (4851),

That is quite a discovery though.  If you all could find out who you are closest to in badge score, you could do those challenges, and have a better chance of completing them.  Win Win!

Thank you Southern for asking this question.  I have been wondering the same thing.  My work around was to write down the total pts as soon as i earned one of the rewards and then manually track how many points i earn for each completed challenge.  It gives a pretty good idea of how many total points i have, although not perfect.  Hopefully, GGS will add a spot for the total individual points earned before the next Village Fair.

You're right, I can't see our challenge either. Thank you for finding it, I was a bit curious as well. :)

Please, can anyone tell me, is something going to be done to correct the significant lag that occurs when a challenge is running?  Reloading doesn't entirely fix the problem.
  • sue1 (AU1)sue1 (AU1) AU1 Posts: 193
We like it too.  Spend as much or as little as you like and we are staying well clear of those boosters.  Like everyone else the lag is killing us and we are having to refresh constantly or play at near stand still.

Not playing village fair .... rewards are not worth it.

football event was interesting, it kept us on the toes for a whole month .... it was exciting, .... this VF - village fair lost its charm in just 1 day.

Include half timers in rewards for top 10 co-op's maybe .... the current set of rewards are useless.

I dont know if this has been pointed out earlier - but the challenge should end when it reaches 100%.
Now you have to wait until the time runs out.

Now you have to wait until the time runs out.
That gives you a chance to double the needed stuff and give you boosters.
