How can 2 co-ops work together on a village league challenge against 1 co-op?

How do you figure they're working "together"?

As far as I can see, they're 2 seperate co-ops, with the 2nd one being an overflow co-op of their high-ranked (and usually full) co-op. Members would have to transfer back and forth in order to work together, and that wouldn't work on the Village League (but it probably would on a CC)..

We ran into a group like that. They swap members back and forth during CCs, and stack one coop prior to starting a Village Challenge. Then they all sparkle one another like crazy.

It's in their co-op description & yes it would because there is no time limit to how long you have to be with a co-op for your collections to count or not.

The only problem is they are fools for thinking they're so sneaky because others pick up on it & don't waste their items or time on challenge while they do so they're the fools.

Collections do not count in the village league for members transferring in until the NEXT Village League Challenge; their collections wouldn't count in the current one, so transferring in and out would do no good.

(Unless that's changed? If so, I haven't read about it).

This doesn't apply to the CC, so could be a valid tactic there.

They weren't being sneaky about it at all.  They were proud of it and discussed it openly.  I can't imagine anyone putting that much effort into winning. :)
