My opinion on other improvement:
More recipes which involve DSF fish on ALL farms - YES please!
LESS protection items - e.g. just 3. Too many to choose from, without being obvious what's needed like the rest of the crew. (I always use one of them, and sometimes i still lose fish. Haven't figured out how to use them efficiently - are you truly supposed to use ALL of them for total protection from fish loss?)
Pains listed that I personally do not think are pains at all:
- no happiness connection - that's OK!
- fishing tasks take hours - that's OK!
- Oleg's fishing boats - perfectly OK!
- fishing mini game not engaging - TRUE yes, but OK! I dont use it at all, and I'm glad it's not necessary for any events (goldfish is the only one ive bothered with, but decided it's too tedious and not worth the final dec imo)
- I agree with other things listed to be improved
Also need a way to trade in boats, crew etc we do not use. The boats should also have a different storage from the Decorations tab.
Also like idea of fast trip times.
Most people send it with same combination 99 percent of the times . So its waste of time to keep clicking everytime the same equipments .
Allow us to have self-made sets like 6 roy and 6 brigette , and two or three more and those who are interested can use this option . Let these sets be saved and just by clicking on these sets, the equipments can be filled
Its really a pain filling up the equipments even with the shift option.
So i hope this will be a good addition to DSF .

Please bring this load last setup option
There's really only 2 changes I'd really like to see - a button for for "last load setup" as Seeker1 suggests above, and a change to contracts to remove the current heavy requirement for shrimp, clams, and oysters. Close to 95% of my contracts always require one of those 3 things, and I wind up rejecting contracts frequently because of it - reducing the bonus value of the next contract of that type.

That being said, my suggestion would be to focus on promises made in the past before implementing new strategies for the company to make money. Once upon a time the game was relaxing and enjoyable; THAT is why I signed up for it. I did not sign up for what it has become. I use to enjoy playing as often as possible but now I feel spread far too thin, I do end up spending just as much time - maybe even less - but I no longer enjoy it. Many aspects were added to the game in a short period of time: The village, the Deep Sea Fishing, Oleg, and the Mermaid bay, as well as the latest barrage of challenges such as the Goldfish rescue, the CHWEs, and back to back CCs. While I do not mind challenging events or co-op activities, I do not think the game should be based on them. This was once a relaxed farming simulation game.... not a battle zone.
The focused issues should be:
Fix the fish market - making contracts more balanced.
Fix the current pool spawns - making all fish equally available.
Give us a sell button for the useless items that we earn as "Rewards" that serve no use to us. We should not have to delete "Rewards".
Then perhaps slowly implement some of the great ideas like adding a fast equip button or load all at once button. I would much rather see old broken and unbalanced stuff be fixed before dealing with new broken stuff.

126,321,371,000 (lab cost) ÷ 5,000,000 (Average daily earnings) = 25,264.27 days
25,264.27 (days) ÷ 365 (days in a year) = 69.22 years to fully upgrade the Lab
That's if you use the daily earnings to upgrade the Lab ONLY, no spending on other upgrades, islands, boosters, or anything else.

Improved rewards. I can build and destroy Skipjack and Trawler rewards (at least I get something) but nearly everything I trash and get nothing. Either an option to sell rewards or rewards take a different form like a "shipping coin" which we can trade for items we need.
With respect Hawke makes a valid point.
I don't know of any player who asked for a rebalance, but we lost over 80% of previous sales value.
Where as lots of people have called for gold protection, it gets ignored.

The animated fishing game is of limited interest. I use it only when it is integral to a task in an event.But this is not terribly important to me.
There is some strategy in the DSF. Habit drives most of the decisions on the other farms. Please leave the DSF alone. Concentrate on keeping the game bug free and running smoothly. There is lots of diversity in the game even at higher levels.
when you equip your boat a calculator that automatically calculates how many fish you will catch with the particular combination you have used. so if I have 160 fish to catch and send a trawler that fishes for 2.75 hours it would calculate 2.75 x 15 for a boat with nothing added giving you 41 fish but would change each time you add an item. so for 160 fish you would need 4 Roy and 4 John, if you put 5 Roy the calculator lets you know you are over supplying your boat and waisting money. a calculator would make it easy to equip your boat for the optimum performance easily.
It will already do that - just hold down the SHIFT key when you click on the item you want to equip on the left side, and it will automatically equip that item on the right side. No dragging required.

Any change I can only imagine is that it does not involve revenue and profit loss. Nor should it be overcomplicated.
If the protective gear has a greater role, they will occupy the ship, ie reducing the amount of fish caught, ie reducing revenue. This is unacceptable and makes the boat more complicated.
To introduce boldness to fish, I think it is superfluous and makes the game more complicated. There is a need to look at happiness in four places, and this should not be even increased.
The easier to equip fishing boats is a good idea, and the fact that the fishing mini game is being expanded. It also connects Oleg's ships and fishing with deep-sea fishing. But here too, attention should be paid to not reducing revenues and benefits.
It is not a good idea to use deep-sea fisheries to produce products and tools using farm materials. This can make fishing more expensive. But it would be a good idea to sell the Gull Bay food on the market.

Yea… this whole part of the game is one big snooze. Sent the boats out anyway, next time I'll need tuna and there won't be ANY so may as well stock up on what ever is out there while it's out there.
Still this isn't a very fun part of the game. I can forget about it now for the rest of the day.
