Multiple Account Gaming

In order to give equal value to the players and to keep up the spirit of fun in the game, GGS needs to ban the IDs permanently when they identify Multiple Account usage.

Our coop description: https://prnt.sc/hcembk

We find a coop in our server where around 30 to 35 spare IDs available and each player is asked to play 1 additional ID. (Complaints with screenshots provided to GGS but still they continue to do it.) These are used to put players on hold in missions while CC.

THIS really spoil the fun in the game and the players who dont play multiple IDs have to put more effort to win the event.

There is one player who has got more than 65 fields to compete Village Championship tasks. This account is shared within team to complete field tasks.

BAN IDS PERMANENTLY WHICH ARE ACCESSED BY MULTIPLE PLAYERS.

GGS need to fix this or remove the multiple account usage from the terms & conditions.

:-) ------------------- those who play others accounts stay away from this discussion -------------------------- :-)

No to banning people with multiple accounts.

But by all means, ban the accounts being shared by multiple people.

Having Multiple account itself against terms and conditions unless they give government proof for the same!

I'm all for the multiple account gaming. You can join separate coops, and do more missions and stuff

More to the problem of multiple accounts are those morally bankrupt individuals, and entire Co-ops, who operate multiple farms and identities solely for the purpose of infiltrating other competing Co-ops.

I have experienced all of the following 1st hand:
*Once accepted into the "Rival" Co-op, the Multi-farmer(s) spy on that Co-op's strategies, accounts, weaknesses, etc.

*Information is relayed back to the Spy(s) home Co-op. The Spy then sets about to create dissension & drama within the membership of the Rival Co-op; encouraging larger farmers (esp.) to leave, thereby reducing their strength.

*Prior to leaving the Rival Co-op, the Spy(s) participate heavily in a Coopcha. They then pull out & leave the Co-op towards the end of the event, making it impossible for the Rival Co-op to recuperate the massive amounts of lost Rep points. The home
Co-op of the Spy(s) then steals the event lead.

*Often, out of trust, the Rival Co-op will reward the Spy with the title of Deputy. The Spy then has free reign to steal from the Co-op accounts... i.e. maxing out farm $ and gold boosters, etc.  As these actions cannot be traced; distrust, dissension, & discord are created within the Rival Co-op unit.

*The Spy can remain part of a Rival Co-op for a very long time, building trust & acceptance. At some point, the Co-op Leader may need to temporarily step away and signs over the Leader role to the Spy, who then kicks the Leader/Founder out, stealing the entire Rival Co-op.  All members of the Rival Co-op are victims of these takeovers & lose all of their invested monies, time, hard work, friendships, etc. ... unless they chose to stay & accept their fate at the hands of the thief /thieves who have stolen everything.  That is IF the invading co-op doesn't kick all of the members out & move in themselves to use all of the Rival
Co-op's accounts; research & ranking accomplishments; and other ill-gotten gains, to assuage their psychotic, egomaniacal, Machiavellian, pathologies.

    * OR...once conquered, the Spy / Invading Co-op, can simply shut down & delete the Rival Co-op all together.

**All of these horrible injustices lie at the hands of GGS and would be easily preventable, simply by stepping up
& maintaining standards of fair gamesmanship:
Multiple accounts / Multi-Farmers & thereby Multi-Identities should NOT BE TOLERATED.

Will this eliminate all of the cheating behaviors of demented individuals who seek to destroy a simply online game that provides so much enjoyment for so many normal, sane, unsuspecting members? Obviously not, but GGS must make an attempt to protect the rights of the thousands of paying customers who should be afforded the right to play safely without fear of losing everything they invest.

There is a very large population of BF members who are retired, elderly, home-bound, shut-in's, etc.
Through BF they develop friendships and strong "Family" ties; giving them a sense of belonging and being a contributing member of a group working towards common goals and interests.  More often than not, incomes of these individuals are limited and whatever investment and progress they make is many times more significant than those who have unlimited financial resources. To steal from these people is the lowest of despicable acts.

**** GGS has a responsibility to address this on-going theft, and become accountable in taking steps to
counter these known / reported incidents...once and for all.

ALL MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS, MULTI-FARMERS, & MULTI-IDENTITIES MUST BE BANNED !

If anyone suspects someone of having multi accounts they can send any messages or other proof they have to support and report them.  If it is reported they will look into it.

Multiple issues have been reported multiple times with GGS's only response:
GGS is unable to become involved in these matters.

... same old cop out as always.

Fact:  GGS has, within it's power, the ability to identify multiple account... yet they refuse to become "Involved"

@Cedar (US1) If you have a response from GGS saying they are unable to become involved in these matters please send it to me in PM.
  • Not all are multi farmers that have same IP, as there are families that have more than 1 member playing the game. That makes IDing "multi-accounts" a difficult matter. That is one reason that the company can't just ban all that are on the same IP.
  • Um, first up, multis are hardly a problem in this game. So it makes little sense to pump a ton of resources to deal with a small minority. Second, As White Doves said, you can't just ban all the id's that come from the same area, or single id's that show up in multiple area's. For instance, you could have a kid who plays at school and home (like me) or a family who plays at the library. Imagine the shock on someone's face when given an account deletion and ip ban just because they play in two locations (home/library, school; college). And the family that plays on the same computer would also not be happy. So this is very thin ice to walk on, so to speak.

i know many players which have 2-3-4 accounts on the USA server

You don't need to suspect as multiple accounts are freely discussed in chat and through inbox messaging so screen shots are easy to do. Reporting been done on multiple instances by multiple players and this is the result (actual quote regarding this received from a representative of GGS to me):

"...the rules state very clearly that a person is not allowed more than one farm per server and because of that GGS has the right to take action against people who violate the rule, should they (GGS) choose.
It seems they do not always choose to do this, for whatever reason, but the fact remains that they can....."

Support tickets do nothing because the players will often be significant gold buyers

i have yet to see one of these accounts banned

this should also apply to owning multiple co-ops

I'm sorry you had such experience, but I do not think what you describe requires multiple accounting. Sadly, it could just be a twisted individual with a single farm. In any case there is something that you state that I think should be addressed asap:

"The Spy then has free reign to steal from the Co-op accounts... i.e. maxing out farm $ and gold boosters, etc.  As these actions cannot be traced; distrust, dissension, & discord are created within the Rival Co-op unit."

Who uses coop funds and the amount used, who starts a village upgrade and who admits/invited newly joined members should be reported currently in the chat window and ideally in a place where it can exist for long time (current chat window has the problem that people can "erase the entries"). I'm looking forward to the new chat system where those kind of actions have their own window and I really hope those actions are recorded.

Edit: sadly, currently some people are hiding behind the fact that those actions are obscured to benefit themselves whenever they please so this is more than due, it should have been addressed eons ago.
