Trust must be earned. Especially after such a horrible flop of multiple events. Please start fixing what is broken and making sure we get the prizes that are promised to us so that we CAN trust in Bigfarm and the team producing these events.
I couldnt have said it any better.
And if, knowing all of this, you still can't help yourself and spend gold and supplies on something, don't whine and moan when it goes wrong about all the real money you spent. Yes, it's wrong that you spent real money and didn't get what you paid for...but at this point, you have to have known that was a real possibility and you gambled anyway...and lost. Learn your lesson and move on, don't keep repeating the same cycle.
Edit, adding: This is especially true in the case of the CHWE, which has yet to work correctly even once!
Merry Christmas Everyone and I wish you all a Happy New Year!
Edited to add: Although the CHWE was introduced 3 times, the first 2 times the server was reset and at most players lost their line up but the rankings were sorted properly and players STILL got the rewards promised.
You are getting enough flak at the moment...so will not add to it ( i already said my piece the other day) .. So can you ask the developers or the programmer ( whoever it was who did the hot fix earlier) to fix the hot fix they did as it as now broken the deep sea fishing village...well the writing all lop sided when you hover over the pools and when you click on organic market the market as jumped to the fish market side now was that part of the fix???... thanks P.S also thanks for giving me my personal awards from the CHW xx
It's all about "one could have known" - if you know on beforehand that something is bugged or (partly) broken you wouldn't buy it!
- If I know on beforehand that the TV was broken = No, I would not buy that TV, in fact I would be considered stupid if I did! (but if I choose to buy it anyway (while I know there is a problem), I can't blame anyone else but myself when it doesn't work at home, right?)
- If I know on beforehand the movie in the theatre can't be played = No, I would not buy a ticket, in fact I would be considered stupid if I did! (but if I choose to buy it anyway (while I know there is a problem), I can't blame anyone else but myself when the show can't be played, right?)
- As I knew from the very start of the CC & the CHWE that these events were bugged and/or showed problems (as I could read in the forum) I chose to leave them idle; and some of my coop members chose to play it, but on a very low level, not putting in much effort and certainly not using any gold. On the US1 server the CK tent wasn't even there as from the start so you knew the feature was bugged ....
No, I don't like all the problems that occurred lately to so many features in the game, and I can't imagine any player would like that ... but the player still has some own personal responsibility, right? That was what the question in the aforementioned post was about, wasn't it? About WHY players still put huge efforts & time and are still haemorrhaging gold while all the signs are there that that specific feature in the game is bugged / or doesn't work properly ...
So - like artful does - I do agree with what CordeliaAnne wrote ....
as there has been in the past.
We played in good faith to support our coop(s)..what is wrong with that?
AND..i am not blaming anyone, except GGS
BTW..Looks as though FarmerKar is right & we are paying your way!

The apology talks about the schedule of developing Big Farm in general using the CHWE as an example. They said that they will improve their way and write better code and fix bugs.
Totally agree, I walked away from the CHWE after it was reset for the 2nd time. I don't have the money or the resources to keep playing when I know that the event is not going to work properly.
Nobody is belittling players who buy gold - I ALSO buy gold as do my daughters - but I don't throw that gold away on an obviously bugged event.
Furthermore, it does no good for any of us to come on these posts bickering back and forth....Point is....GGS knew Monday morning when they hit the office the CHWE was a flop and we were screwed. They could have said something then instead of waiting until a few hours before it ended a day later.

First - Mary Wisc is correct. Her cooperative did amazingly well, and deserve to receive their prizes, and they need to be better than the "general compensation" offered server wide. They did the work, they made the production levels and used resources and premium items to do so. WELL DONE !
Secondly - These Co operative Challenge Events of which there are now a selection of them, need to be fairly balanced and run properly. FIX THEM OR DON'T RUN THEM.
Thirdly - Server wide compensation is generally good for all players, but it does NOTHING to spur on competitive challenges. Furthermore setting goals at these extreme production levels is not conducive to player competition. The majority of Farms and Co operatives are not able to produce these amounts and this points to the main problem with CHWE. Since it's induction, it has become the "Lame Duck" event of the challenges. It requires entirely too much game play, and too many resources and premium cash for the majority of players. In a nutshell, This event needs to be rebalanced, and the older version of HWE should still be offered.
