@WascallyWabbit I got the contract with bonus value of 40 offer 1 token for 258 shrimp. It's doesn't cause too much trouble, but the real problem is the non-cash reward deduction. I think after the hotfix, it become worse. I have the old contract and the new ones that offer different amount of seaweed feed

The trouble is, the sell value of tuna is almost 6x of clam's sell value. But it offer fewer cash (FYI, the price of seaweed feed on tuna contract is 3x more expensive than clam contract). So, I think the contract after hotfix become WORSE than before. In addition, I also want to talking about Fish Market LIMITED CONTRACT after hotfix.

This one has taken before the hotfix

While this one has taken after the hotfix. If the fiah market work as the organic market, then WHY LIMITED CONTRACT AMOUNT IS SAME AS THE STANDARD ONE?

RAKES?  Honestly I don't even know what your suppose to do with those.  NOT a clue.  Don't need it, don't want it, it is NOT a "reward."

@Artmaker (GB1)  The Rakes & Brushes are "gifts" that the Twins sell for 250 & 300 gold each. The Rakes add 50% to the harvest of a field/garden/meadow & the brushes add 50% to a stable.

    Hey guys,

I would like to clear some things up before rumors get started. Meela is still with the team. Pichu and Marowit left on their own to explore other opportunities in their lives, they were not fired from GGS. Please keep this in mind when posting so that unnecessary rumors won't get started. Thank you! :)

based on the hotfix numbers i think we can tell this is true....

@Shay1968 (US1) If you are asking if the high sale prices will be brought back, the answer is no. The best prices that you can get for your fish will be the high value contracts & having a stockpile of fish in your inventory, will be an advantage in getting your market up to those contracts faster. The contracts have been improved in the hotfix, so once you have filled enough to get 6 on the page, the values & profits will increase

as long as a high % of MO's calls for chum of some kind and some MO's are in the 100's of chum - making chum is infinitely imbalanced timewise - ( i had a stockpile of chum and made it continuously only took a few MO's to eliminate any "stockpile"

Also since the pools have not been rebalanced correctly - "stockpiling" certain fish is virtually impossible - maybe a few months down the road and ignoring the DSFmarket altogether it would be possible...

and no the contracts have not been "improved" in the hotfix - not even close -

You have it backwards @WascallyWabbit:  the initial MO's should be easier and much higher valued to encourgage (operative word here) game play  difficulty, challenge, fluff, and even less profit (possibly) should be for those high end - high level contracts
@JustMe (US1)  I think you misunderstood my comment about a stockpile, it was specifically to that poster who already has a stockpile of fish in her inventory, not for creating a stockpile. As for the contract values, they work the same as the Organic market, as far as I know, whereby the original price quoted is 5% above base value (either in cash or goods, or a combination of the 2) & then as you increase the value of your contracts you get a bonus payment on top of the 5% of up to another 25% (for a level 99 contract).

Unlike the organic market, I do think that it is much harder to see that original +5% on the fish contracts, because we do not know what the new value of each fish is & some of the items seem to vary in value from one contract to the next. We have pointed this out to the team & have been told that they have not yet finished balancing the market contracts, so hopefully we should see more improvements there. We have also passed on the issues with chum & shellfish on almost all of the contracts, making them slow to fill.

What do u mean guys I have a lester at lvl 10 when I tap on a significant item it goes 10% up mean I can see extra 10 qautntity in my contract whether it is in fish or in organic
@Xcution (INT1) If you have Lester level 10, you can reduce the amount asked for on a contract, by 10% for one item. So, for example if you have a contract that includes 20,000 apples & you click to select that item for Lester's stash, the amount needed will change to 18,000, but the rewards will all stay the same.
Oh thanks that's what I was wondering and other as

In [GGS's] official announcement they stated, "The amount of dollar rewards available as a temporary effect was not an issue but if this were continuous it would have had a negative effect on your game and your enjoyment of it."  So why it is SUCH a big deal?  Why can't they give the players the opportunity to sell off their fish at the original price?

I still have no clue HOW to use them or HOW to sell them off.   I have not once ever actually used one.
@Artmaker (GB1)  You can't sell off the Rakes or Brushes, only use them to gift someone else's farm. ;)
To put a gift on someone's farm, just go to any of their farms. At the bottom of the page is the Gifts & Pranks button that will let you place the Rakes or Brushes on their buildings.  :)

If the profit was dropping with higher end contracts, that would be backward, so not a good idea.

Otherwise you say a lot of good stuff. I skip over 90 % of contracts to make FM work in profit. Which itself shows that FM is nonsensical, poorly balanced, and not a really good asset for the game. So I can operate it in profit, but "NONSENSE!" screams at me from every corner of DSF and FM right now.
well yes and no and why I said "possibly" lower profit - assuming there are other adjustments made like direct selling, equipment cost and chum creation time. This post was to point out the flawed strategy of @WascallyWabbit as mouthpiece for GGS.

it is a well known and often implimented strtegy of businesses worldwide to offer specials, deals, bonuses and lower prices or whatever you want to call them etc. which are only availabe to "new" not exisiting customers to encourage the use/purchase of....  In this case new or lower level DSF market orders  - since we all start out "new" here and at 0 value orders it would be even across the board to start

Although yes it happens there is less of this specifically aimed at rewarding long term clientel - fewer businesses say you have been a customre for 3 years and in a ppreciation we will give you xxx as your reward.

but this IS (supposedly) built in - in the (supposedly) higher valued orders as in the organic market and in screenshots from players in the DSF market.

The reasons this should be implemented here is this market only exists to enforce and trap a player - -- should they want or need to do something with the fish they are catching because they want to or feel the need to continue playing the part of the game of DSF.

Basically if a player ikes the fishing and sending of boat - you are flushing tons and tons of $$ with items you can't do anything with - if you are ok with that fine - if not -- you only have theFORCED DSF market to turn to.

If these items had been added to the already existing market it probably would have seen a greater "balance" as these items would probably have been included at the rate the bakery and flower shop items have been (which is a lower percentage allowing you to build up a supply PLUS you still can direct sell) and the MO in the organgic market could have been expanded to a few more slots for filling from DSF.

If you notice they added (for the announcment ) and then immediately took away the fish dishes - which are only good to sell directly or if you want to give away tons of work for little value  - donate to Yarnuckle's boat

    again poor choices by GGS

Direct selling HAS to be returned - there is no other way around it.

I haven't seen this anywhere else, I've been ripped off twice during the "fish hard worker event" I had lobsters running at 9 points a second for over 24 hours, when I got it up 10 points it dropped to 34 minutes.
Same thing with Cod this morning 9 a sec. for 17 hours , at 10 a sec 4 minutes.
Something seems wrong, anyone else had this trouble

There's nothing wrong, it's the way the event is set up. Not all fish can be run at speed 10 for long.

The fantastic @CrazyBigfarm55 (US1) has a webite full of Big Farm information, you can download a spreadsheet with all the min. and max. times there.
    The link is: http://crazybigfarm.tk/events/recurring_annual/fish_hard_work.htm

this was Always the cause. when you go a lvl higher the time drops. When you collect more fish in the lvl the time rise again.

Don't give up hope, keep stashing away your fish....send out your boats empty (that way it costs you nothing), take what fish you get, make and stash away your chum.  It may be (we can only hope) that GGS is trying to figure things out....I do doubt that it will be what it used to be....but maybe it will be better than what it is now.  I know some have lost their joy and quit...demolished their farms and everything.  For now, I just recommend you just ignore the fish market or just have fun flushing!  :*

Is there a limit on fishing boats? I just won a skipjack in the HW fishing event & it tells me not possible when I try to place/build it. I currently have 4 NW, 2 Skipjacks, 3 roundabouts & 5 motorboats. Also how do you know who lost winter dollars as some players gave up submitting tickets for lost items or complaining on the forum if they even go on the forum.

@Surya54 (INT1)  Very good question, Limited & Standard contracts should show the same values for the same items. Thanks for the screenshots, they have all been passed on to the balancers.

Thanks for your response, I hope this problem should be fixed soon
