I'd always buy before, but no more! I'm not spending real money for this game anymore!!!
BG has tasks for us to fish Salmon.
Which fish is not in the pools? ...............................................................................................correct: Salmon
The market wants to buy Salmon.

I have an idea regarding balance:
You ask us to fish NO MORE fish than you allow us to fish in the pools.
You ask us to sell NO MORE fish at the market than you have allowed us to fish in the pools.
Don't worry I was just talking to myself. I am still not used to this type of behavior.
I chose to play this game and surprises I got, is not the first time when they do "changes" .
This game was not the first time when I had to experience this type of behavior. People often do that, but not everyone is seeing... they dream of good, and nobody wants to stop them.
So let's rethink this: What if every player can make 100 millions green dollars per day ?
All these expensive things that can be bought also with few gold, would be never bought with gold. And they won't be happy... so they will have to make this change to make people buy that gold again.
But when they make good changes, they must know what people will do with them... they must think that before revenging on them. It seems like revenge... but they are obviously gaining enough, their "economy" is not going down because of this.
Back to "money are important, this *good thing* is not for every poor kid" . If you look around, is not "GGS" ~_^ . Is their way to keep the difference.
Another one:
Which two fish are not needed, not asked for, not required, of no use, but there are plenty of those in the sea??
Raise your hand if you know the answer!
They are obviously having lots of fun right now.............................................. laughing so much
is their turn to be happy
Absolutely ... hang on .... Isn't it OUR right to have fun? We PAY for that privilege, don't we?
GGS is a business, I think we all recognize that fact. They do this to make money, we also recognize that. However, there is a right way and a wrong way to run a game company.
If you are going to introduce new features to a game, you test them using beta testers. The goal of that effort is to find the bugs and fix them before you go live. GGS fails to use it's beta testers or it's test server to achieve this goal. I've beta tested many a game and have never seen the complete disregard of "beta tester reports" as I have with this game.
By that same token, GGS will introduce features and later discover they offer too much advantage to the player and then nix them. The Deep Sea Fishing is a classic example of this. The original video ads are another. A smart gaming company would have tested this first but, barring that, they would have maybe halved the profits to their players and made a note for the future.
GGS continues to make the same mistakes, over and over. What is that old saying? "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."
I'm still against the idea of "buying rights" . Rights must be FREE for everyone. "Expensive" must be a parallel world.
I invite ALL of the GGS players to my challenge. It is THE hardest challenge of all. Are you up to the task ?
1) Playing the game without hitting the skip button.
2) Only buying gold every 3 months and at the very minimum (4.99)
or not buying gold at all.
3) Stop playing into GGS deep pockets.
By this I mean, They pit us against one another in competitions, entice us with gold offers with items we think we cannot live without or to get ahead in the game before other players. You know that little shopping bag that shows up ? don't click on it. It is designed to reward you for spending your gold so you have to buy more and more and more, etc. This entire game is designed to make GGS rich. Which is okay if they cater to our needs and wants since it is our money. GGS didn't learn from the last time everyone took notice and stopped buying gold. If we do this they won't have any choice but to give us what we want. I don't know about you, but I am tired of being told that changes are for my benefit when it is only a disguise of really being for their benefit only. If they were really worried we would advance too fast in the game then there wouldn't exist a trader lady that sells game dollars. By the way, she exists to make money for them too. You spend your gold on the game dollars it is okay with them, you find a way to make them in the game without buying them, then GGS is going to take that away. That is the real reason the last change was made. A wolf in sheeps clothing is the saying. Don't fall for it. Are you up to the task of playing the game the hardest way possible? I think we can. I for one am not buying gold anywhere as much as I did before (smallest amount now and only every 3-6 months) or even if they do make the change back because then it will be something else later on and we will be right back to this again. GGS really needs to learn the hard way. Exactly as they make the game for us to play- The hardest way and most expensive way. Ready?
Do not play cc
. Many people say "stop playing with gold" but they don't know... some inactive people are appearing in tops when (the top) is free. They found these perfect situations to expose their amazing farms being first place. I already told this to people from my server last autumn: "You want to stop them, but you can't, they really do enjoy it" .
Sorry if my comments sound rude, not intentionally doing that... I'm really sad about this update, and my brain thinks so much.......
I hear you art, but they won't be throwing this game out with the wash until it becomes impractical to continue it. This game replaced another farm game. They killed the other one not because of customer unhappiness but instead because it was a dinosaur. This game was a beta. (Hell, it still is for all intents and purposes...) This game and one other are their big earners. They will not throw it away as easily as you suggest.
Fed my farm critters, just waiting for another load of corn for a coop project, then I plant my wheat. Petted the dog, about to go do the same on my other two farms and move to another game for a bit before bed.
Easy peasy. Stress free, FREE. Money will add up, ever so slowly. It matters not.
My daughter had a theory about this. Mind you this is just her guess. But she suggested perhaps someone was disgruntled with their job, set this in motion, took (probably) their last vacation and will be leaving anyway but not before turning the screws on the company.
Again just her opinion, but it sure makes a lot of sense. How could anyone trying to make this game successful actually pull a stunt like this?
And seriously, if this WAS in the plans, ya think they might have waited until more people were finished unloading their bank accounts to upgrade everything first?
Yea, either someone did this on purpose, or someone really needs a brain enema.
There will be for sure a response & I think with so many customers (farmers) unhappy - the "coding" team can make changes to the game, as long as the developer team comes up with something less"hurtful" to ALL of us.
Huge , humangess mistake was made the first time around with releasing "Fishing region" without it being tested. This was NOT our fault, it was a big oversight on GGS part.
Once everybody started spending gold, real money to build-up the dock - buy boats & upgrade them, to take this lucrative fishing region and downgrade it to less than 10% of profit from it - is simply absurd !!!
Indian givers as they say - give something very nice to all & take it away.
I'm hoping some of the CEO's & developers have a good business sense to salvage that - it needs to be done, as it was NOT our fault "we became good fishermans" and our farms started making profit from something what was on GGS drawing boards probably for months....
Before you give us - more farms, more Islands DO TEST them first.
Once the updates go "live" it's hard to ask everybody to forget, that they spend gold, time & invested in a part of game, which may NOT exist or profit after 3months. It's NOT fair !!
Lets see , lets hear - what will be the decision - THIS WEEK, as promised, right?
PS. To all Farmers - STOP demolishing your fleet of ships & farms. Relax, play less, fish less and see what happens !!! Fishing was a new addition to the game. Play as you did beforehand till things resolve.
