I understand that your cooperatives points grow with the cooperatives projects.
But why would we take affort for those points to grow?
I mean what is the benefit from it?
How can I motivate the other members to really make time and affort in these cooperatives projects?
Are these points for the cooperatives village and if so what are the benefits from it?
Can someone help me with this question?

Basically it ranks your co op to others. You'll have to decide as a group if the co op ranking mean any thing to yous as a group or not. Other than that no real benefits other than helping to build team work for the members of the co op. These points are not for the co op village.
That will be like a separate area, similar to the horse ranch area is now. It has not become active yet so no need to worry about it at this time.

I seem to remember that leveling up the co-op is also necassary to gain access to some of the projects and research. Perhaps someone in a lower level co-op could confirm this ?

That's correct, Uncle John. :)  The projects at the beginning are only available once your coop reaches a certain level, which can only be reached by completing coop projects. :)

Leveling up you coop also gives gold and dollars to your coop bank account. It is an easy way to get some extra gold and dollars to your coop bank account.
  • Projects are a waste of time, once your co op reaches level 57 you are able to do ALL research, as for the gold 150 per level is going to do nothing at for the co op, for the effort required.  Our co op does not do them, every so often someone may start one but if we fail we do not care at all.

Yup have to agree, projects are pointless. It gives the coop something to do between events but frankly events are on so often these days anyway so I find projects and project discussions a bit tedious at times. Hoping GGS scraps the projects and replaces them with something like a coop market. I'd rather work through random market contracts as a team for a wide range of rewards instead of the boring solidarity points that don't really mean anything.

I like the projects and want more projects to choose from. It does get redundant after a while but they are there and y not.

    PS...hi Gizmo, your still here!!!

Summary, if you started a new cooperative.

There's a number of researches, that mostly improve economic features, like size of harvest or sale price, or allow you to add more members etc.. All of them unlock one by one at certain levels of cooperative. The only way you can level up your cooperative (and unlock these researches) is by doing projects.

So pointless? If you are happy with 5 member zero research co-op, yes, they are. If you!ve unlocked everythng to be unlocked, yes, they are. If you want to grow and improve your cooperative, you need to do them. Just take your time and do only what you can as the difficulty of project jumps up from level 1 through to level 5 and the difference is significant. Don't push it cause you soon come to a standstill anyway and need to improve your farms power to carry on. .

Btw I consider cooperative one of the uggliest and most unfriendly arrangements in the game, cause it's THE NUMBER ONE pressurizing factor in the game. Without cooperatives and related activities most of the stress some players experience in the game would be gone. So take your steps wisely. The uggly beast can be beaten. :)

    Good luck.

This should help get you started http://crazybigfarm.tk/how_to/cooperatives.htm
    This will also help  https://bigfarmtips.wordpress.com/faq-about-cooperatives/
You may want to do some research before starting another co op. It takes a lot of time and money to grow a co op.

Welcome @savita swami (US1) to the forum and Big Farm :)
Once you reach a certain player level you will be asked to join a co op. Then after joining a co op of your choice then you will be able to take part in the cooperative games :)

Despite what the game suggests, you probably want to wait until you are over level 20 before aplying to join a co-op.
Many players play for a couple of days, join a co-op, find they don't enjoy the game, stop playing and leave the co-op with a space filled by a non-player they then have to boot.
Low level co-ops with poor player benefits may accept you at your level but if you play for a bit longer before applying you will have a good chance of getting into a higher level co-op

  • Hello.  If you pull up the screen where you talk to your co-op members if you go to the first tab on the top. On the bottom left-hand side there is a door with an arrow pointing out if you place you cursor over that it will say leave co-op.  Hope this helps.  Greenleaf is looking for new members if you are looking for a new co-op.  tsness, co-op leader Greenleaf

  • Open your co-op chat, click on the co-op overview tab (two hands shaking). Click on the door button in the lower left corner.

@whitewitch (GB1)    Do you mean the Cooperative Championship (large tent in event area) or the Cooperative Village League?    Neither have a cooperative level requirement to participate.

  • I meant the coop challenge  big tent and thank you

@david john (GB1)   Click on your Deputy's name in the member list and a box pops up where you can assign Leadership.
