Is the only use for donating Village dollars to the coop account to change the items in the challenge baskets?

So far this is the only thing I can find that requires the use of the donated village dollars.

Thanks in advance for any help on this subject.
The Village dollars are for upgrading the buildings, and when you make items in the two factories.
I am talking about the village dollars donated to the coop account ... The buildings do not show a cost to upgrade, just needed parts to upgrade and making items on my farm and in the village come from my personal account.  I am trying to determine if the village dollars from the coop account (the ones coop members donate) are used for anything other than changing the items in the basket for the village league challenges.  The only thing I have found says that coop village dollars or gold can be used to change the items in the basket.

@Brit773 (US1) Donated Village Dollars and gold can ALSO be used to upgrade buildings.  Notice in the pics below the button on the right allows folks to add needed items utilizing the "coops" village dollars and gold.

They are also used for contributions to building upgrades (only available to deputies & Co-Op Leader).  If you do not have enough of a specific material to upgrade a building, a deputy or the leader can use the "Cooperative Contribution" button to pay either Co-Op dollars or Co-Op gold to complete the contribution for that material (only available for 3 different materials per upgrade).

There are two different things acctualy:

     1. If you plant a corn (lets say) and wait three minutes and than plant edge plant. The plant will grow ony two minutes, you would have two minutes penalty and you will have only 2/5 of the edge plant than you would get if you planted it at the start. The amount of the edge plant namely depends on the time it grows

     2. If you plant corn + edge plant imidiately, but do not harvest them when they pop up, the penalty will decrese as well. If you wait 2.5 minutes before collecting, the penalty will disapear.
Corn is special, the yield is the same for all 5 minutes.  I got 36 bamboo from a level 5 field with corn when the edge plant is sown in the last 15 seconds of the growth time.  works with any main farm field, any edge plant, works every time, only works for corn.  Do not sow in the last 10 seconds.  If sown in the last 10 seconds, it will yield rocks but no edge plant.

Yesterday we won the Village challenge and got rewards... But when a few members and me went to the shop to choose what we can buy... we could not..
It gives a preview of what we can buy and how much we can spend but that is all...
@e c burger (INT1) You can only access the shop from the button on the challenge result pop-up. Once you close that option, it will not be available again until you win your next challenge or until the weekly reset on Sunday night, when you are given a "last chance" to spend that weeks medals, before they are converted into cash. Those members that are seeing a preview of the shop, are clicking the wagon on the hill.
Regarding the pop-up shop menu that happens on Sunday night - It really is frustrating to have it pop up and have to deal with it RIGHT THEN, or lose it. It has twice come up for me during a mission, and cost me first place on one of them. Also, not having a way to check my inventories before I buy is frustrating. I end up buying something I don't need, and not getting what I do need. The third frustration is having to deal with it at all, since we are not in any challenges.

Regarding the Village League itself, our co-op has decided not to participate. After one challenge and one counter-challenge, we realized we are too small and at too low a level to win any of the challenges.

You bring up a good point @BFDSS (US1) at this time the info icons have not been updated yet. I'm sure that will come in time.
"Assuming" the boat is 100% sea worthy from the time you get it finished being built & it's sent out on it's maiden trip. It then comes back with 25% damage to the 3 areas. Haul, Stowage, Cabin.
If your co op can not supply enough materials to completely repair it then it will return with 25 % more damage than it left with. So say your group was able to repair all 3 sections to 90% before it left, when it gets back you would have 35% damage to repair in each area.
Having been able to work with it on the test server, we soon discovered that the co op village level had to be into the late 20's even mid 30's to be able to have the factories upgraded enough to make the items not just to repair it but to donate for the upgrades it self on the Jetty.
Given the choice I would not even build it until the co op village level was into the 30's.
Is there a way to get the developers or someone to stop or reset our Jetty build? Somebody didn't read the emails, and went ahead and started the build after we all agreed not to yet. Our co-op is small and low-level, I don't think we will be able to do anything with the boat yet.

As I pointed out with each upgrade to the M & M factory you can make 1% more. So upgrading the factory to level 10 we should be able to make about 60 nails per batch.
But that isn't my question, I understand that, my question is at what level does the nuumber of batches you can make increase like with the other production facilities you are not stuck with just being able to make 2 batches at a time.   A level 1 mill allows 2 batches at a time but a level 8 allows 28 batches.  Will the number of batches increase as the levels of the factories increase?
Update our M & M factory is now level 8 and we can now make 55 nails per batch allowing us 2 batches for 110 nails in about 12 mins. I'll try to keep an update going.
M & M at lvl 9 makes 56 nails per batch still only allowed 2 batches.
Our M & M factory is now at level 11 we are able to make 57 nails per batch still only allowed 2 batches at a time

Hi @FarmerCli (US1) I think you can get a friendship meadow by getting any facebook friends not playing this game to play and for a certain amount of levels. Not tried it so not sure at what level they play to for you to get 1

    1. How to change the content of the crate from yarnacle?

    2. The crate doesn't stack up, ok
but I can't always collect it by the time he arrives, I can only meet the boat once. Please set the personal  crate to stay for 24 hrs, so I can get it. I do repair his boat, when I meet him.

  • We only have a horse meadow....what is this "friendship meadow" you are talking about?

I'm just not seeing the point in any of this.   Seems all we are doing is sacrificing normal crops to fit in side crops.  Spending money to convert to village dollars.  And all we do with those extra crops is upgrade buildings.  Which makes stuff to upgrade other buildings.  Has anyone actually looked?   There are ONE HUNDRED upgrades possible.  Just when do we actually get anything for this?
When the bakery or flower shop got upgraded, yields were either increased, or time spent decreased, or supplies needed less per upgrade.  Selling product made us money to use in the game.
What does this whole coop village give us?

Yarnical boy… that's a sick joke there.  I stopped handing him ANYTHING.  And I only just noticed this week that even when his box of gifts includes broken windows, there is a negative sign by a few things.  So is he handing us one thing and taking away something else?   I've been more careful to only collect IF he has no items with minus signs along with it.    BUT…. if I don't see anything worth my trouble, I can't get out of that screen.  No red dot to be found.  I have to quit, and reload the game.

    Coop challenges;
Another waste of time there.  Of my three coops, the US one, always the best, most advanced, has lost almost every challenge.  When we finally won one, the prizes really drove home the point that it's just not worth it.   They finally stopped trying.   OF course we can't prevent being challenged, but lately even that, we just farm as usual.  It's just a thing on the side of the screen to ignore.

My international coop manages to win about half.  But again.  For what?  Chicken feed? ONCE I got a few mystery boxes.  And prizes can't roll over until you can pick from more options.  Not that there are any options worth taking.   Collectables?  BIG DEAL!  We have TONS.  Every coop mission available is ready to start.  ALL my coops have attendence issues so starting missions hasn't been happening much.

Now if the "prize" for winning, or upgrading, or doing anything was worth the effort, it might be more fun.
But it would have to be a real prize.  Say a blue mine cert.   Or at least a few hundred gold.  Or some special deco that can only be had by XXX.   Chicken feed?   I don't need that one bit.  Big fracking deal!

NAILS again.    This is from my international farm.
Cant produce nails, I get an error.

Can't upgrade the building, even though it's got everything and I am the leader, I get an error.
NO OTHER BUILDING is being upgraded at this time either.

I'm REALLY getting sick of this.

I'm confused about the personal supply crate.

We have been fixing our damages to the boat down to zero percent every time. I have filled the Friendship Meter to the top every time.

The personal supply crate I received this morning only had three items in it instead of the usual nine.

    Any idea why?

The boat probably docked when you where in bed, GGS is refusing to do anything about this and that is why it is better to not do anything with that boat, it is a waste of time and items to not get the personal box you want.
  • Is there any way to stop or at least slow down the experience points they keep shoving at me for rewards like they're something i want?
I don't want many of them.
My grandma says all the levels seem to do is make things cost more money.
The vendor is trying to charging her 95,000 for 10 bags of feed!

You can slow it a little bit by not teaching the dog tricks, and not using premium feed, humus, etc.

Tell your grandma to stay away from the vendor.  EVERYTHING he sells is way overpriced.  Better to make her own feed in the windmill/silo, even if it takes longer.

Level 17 is 61 nails, still only 2 sets can be run for 122 total.

I do not believe you can move on until the challenge finishes.
