    All 3 Boat parts take 20% damage every trip.  

    All 3 boat parts 100% damaged:
    Arrives at 9:00 pm at night.  Leaves at 12:00 midnight.  arrives at 9:00am, leaves at 12:00 noon.

    I swear tho, GGS really needs to do something about these nails.  Only being able to make ~110 at a time, every 10 minutes, is a major pain in my patootie. And he always wants THOUSANDS of them.

    I would like to know if a certain repair is not 100% (hull,stowage, or cabin) do the materials added go to waste or does it actually bring down the repair percentage for the next time?   For instance if the hull is repaired 100% but the stowage and cabin are only at maybe 60% and 20%.   So let's say the cabin needs cloth and we cannot make cloth should we avoid donating anything to the cabin or will the other donated items required help?  Thank you for any help on this subject

    It will actually bring down the repair for next time.

    The way I understand it, each time the boat returns, he's got 20% more damage than he left with - so if you repair him down to 5% before he leaves, he'll come back next time with 25% damage.  So every little bit helps. :)

    Most of our co-op has decided to not worry about the adventurer boat. The quantities of goods we're supposed to supply are ridiculous!!! Won't be donating anything to him or wasting my resources on him til they make it reasonable!!! The rewards are not worth it either!! Sorry, just my opinion.

    We had 4 players wait up for the boat which arrived 3am this morning 25/4/17.

    3 of us had a boat with 3hour count down.  1 Player had NO BOAT with 3hour till boat arrives.
    Timer read the same amount of time on all 4. Surly the boat should arrive at every bodies jetty in coop at same time as this is a team event.
    What happened did it sink!!!

  • We are wondering how long it will take for the boat to sink.  The jetty should have a higher village level to build so that you are able to repair it.  MuddyHollow is done with the boat as the required resources are not reflected in the pitiful rewards.  And, it was my understanding that Village happiness was a total of all co op members VHP.  Oh well, it was a good idea on paper and could have been an interesting addition.

  • We're having a hard time keeping up with the boat and it feels like a losing proposition at this point.

    I wish I'd seen the advice not to start it until lvl 30 a week ago.  But, I saw it now.

    If we just let the repair needs get to 100% and abandon the boat for awhile, will we ultimately need more and more supplies to repair it later?  Or, will we hit the max at 100% and then be able to just let the need sit there until we are ready to manage it?
  • We had 100% on Adventure Boat Stowage, and 77% on Hull. Now we have 98% on Stowage and only 62 % on Hull. Is this the way the adventure boat works? We add the necessary items needed to fix it and then they get stolen?

    Every time the boat returns from his 6-hour long voyage, he comes back with 25% additional damage than he left with. So even if you fully repair him before he leaves, when he comes back all 3 parts of the boat (Hull, Stowage & Cabin) will have 25% damage again, and need to be repaired again.

    Every time the boat goes out it returns with 25% more damage than what it left with. If you & the members of your co op can at least keep up with the repairs it might not be to bad. Other wise a money resource pit until your co op can keep up & get ahead on the repairs of it on a regular bases.

    Ours wants over 40,000 nails right now. Not sure when or how anyone's supposed to be able to make enough.

    It is a  group effort ;) All the members of your co op can & should help.
  • Does anyone understand the reason for upgrading the adventurous boat? Does it reduce the costs of goods needed to repair the jetty? does it open up more rewards? I know it takes you to different chapters when it upgrades, but that is all i know. I am trying to figure out what the benefit is to the upgrades. thanks :)

    Like  most things in this game as you upgrade it, it will either give more for less or make more with less. It is to early to really tell if it is worth the materials or not.

    When at 100%, the requirements will not increase.  There is a maximum amount.  
  • LOL the boat is here at the moment and it's 2.45am (UK) and I should be fast asleep. No way can I see that we will ever be able to fill all the requirements especially at these times so I agree this all seems somewhat pointless. I'm only about for the HWE and it's Bank Holiday tomorrow....

    Wow, seems like a total fiasco to me lol.  One of my beefs is the lousy currency exchange, a measly $5k per upgrade, I can spend that planting one edge crop on one field, I went through the $1 mil they gave in a couple days ( a few hrs/day) how long will it take to go through $49K (exchange upgraded to lvl2). I also can't sell anything because of all the upgrades needed so no money there.  I think I'm done with Village. It reminds me of the Islands Resource suckers They are for the rich ie: high lvl players

    so i want to know what strategies you've worked out to maximize rewards???  seems i saw the cabin gives the best rewards???  and if your cabin is damaged, like 50% or more, to the point Yarn tells you "no personal rewards next time"  then what the heck good is the happiness???

    still trying to understand how it works......any thoughts???  Which of the three parts should you try to keep in the best repair?

    I think it's the cabin but i'm not sure.......
    It is 25% damage from the return of the boat. I would suggest the haul & storage are more important than his cabin and comfort at this time even though it may give you the best rewards. The more members that can chip in the easier it will be for every member to get the rewards.

    Just for the record, I obviously know it's a joint effort, I'm not stupid. I was pointing out how insane the amounts are, and the fact they hotfixed the amounts proves the developers thought so too. So please keep your creepy awkward out-of-place winking to yourself, it made me uncomfortable.
