How are the totals of each item to collect (for the village league challenges) determined? Is it dependent on how many people are in the coop, level of the coop, ranking etc?

    Ranking. The higher your rank, the more items to collect.

    Also, if you're the initiator of the challenge, you have to collect more than the team you challenged.

    Thanks, I was wondering why we had to collect so much, numbers are unattainable. Also no idea why my coop is ranked 5, but that explains the large amounts. No logic to our ranking though. Guess we just have to wait to lose, because there is no way I'm willing to throw down gold on this thing.
