Aside from getting it to work that one time, it seems broken on my farm for the last 6 days
I would like to know your secret in winning gold. I didn't win any, guess I can't chose the best chests. I won 2 batches of gold clovers and all the others were treats. One was exceptionally good, doubling the output of honey cream from the shop. That all by itself was my incentive to keep looking for that ornery little green man. Unfortunately with having to be away to pack and then 3 days of actual moving, my deco will be far lower in happiness than my norm. But that's OK, the event was new, refreshing, and fun. I look forward to a repeat of it next year and hopefully I'll do much better happiness wise.
is leprechaun's prank automatic remove?
It's added to your total as soon as you click (choose) the pot (so that very moment is too late to check things) ..... I checked this twice to be sure. All gold I won was indeed added to my totals - but one has to look and memorize his total, before searching for the leprechaun.
As soon as the arrow in the StPD menu would turn green, I would first check the amounts of my gold and clovers totals, and only then go look for the little green moppet
I was thinking to give you a well structured answer about what reasons I personally have to dislike lepre and his pranks. One of them would be similar to what KarenKay told you - just time inconvenience for us who don't sit the game day and night. But then I decided that the following one will be enough to remove you from your staggering bewilderment.
Edit: Just got it, 22 mins after event finished.LOL
Edit: I do know where the skins are so it is not that I am not checking the correct place
better HP decoration on 1 I had earned for almost 59K gold. This is why I now don't play as much, because no matter how much I play, how much I do, GGS has something better for a price. Its sucking the fun right out of the game for me.
Is this some sort of a mistake ?
I got the decoration in my drop-box and Greta is around so I checked: To add a single point (the first point) of happiness to the Leprechaun castle costs
5,026,042 farm cash or
3351 decoration parts or
2968 gold
Generally the first few points happiness cost very little, this seems quite a bit out of the ordinary for a 50+ decoration that has only a quality 5
She only wants $2044 to improve my level 5 Snowman family with 53 NHP, and $271,822 to improve my level 5 Beckoning cat with 84 NHP and 6 improvements already done.
I've reloaded the game, and the cost hasn't changed. Why the excessive cost to improve?
To upgrade, my figures are:
688,146 cash
459 deco parts
465 gold
(US Server)
my deco has 53 NHP and 29 VHP
maybe the VHP explains why it is so much more expensive to add happiness points, even though Greta increases only the NHP. I am not sure this is the reason .....
I imagine this probably confused a number of people.
Skins are located in the Appearance Tab of the Housing Menu.
You should find the skin for the Leprechaun House in there if you were in the Top 10 for your level bracket.
If a player on the other hand just came to harvest and has no extra time to spend with the game, than he's likely to get half harvest and no reward. And it might be a case when the harvest was carefuly calculated to move to next step of deco event for example. Even when I'm not time bound I often have other good reasons why I don't want to take my focuss from what I'm doing and start responding to unexpected demands of the game.
On top of that, spoiling somebody's building efforts is an expression of bad manners or meanness. Not sure how that goes with PEGI whatever classification. And I think random pranking is not an integral part of strategic building game either.
So in my case lepre pranks was a very bad idea and I can't be bribed into endorsing it even by a chance of geting a few measly thousands of gold.
Overall I'm mixed on the event. I liked it to a point - the point that it went on WAAAAAYYYYY too long. It needed to be like at least 4 days shorter. The prizes were good, though they ran out quick (for me anyway) and the top prize was a bit of a snoozer. I liked the leprechaun a lot, that feature was fun and I'd enjoy something like that done again. I also really like the big deco prize, soon as I can make a spot I'll be placing that prettyness on my main farm.
But still aggravated that I have no idea how the standings ended and if I should have gotten a skin or not, after all the hard work and gold I sunk into it!
Thank you for letting me know.
I appreciate your help, but as I said I do know where the skins are supposed to be. It just isn't there.
That doesn't mean the event was bad though, I hope it comes back next year! Everyone else seemed to have lots of fun, I don't mind being an Unpopular Opinion Otter at all! c:
Overall for me, some of the fun of the event was diminished because I felt forced to do more than I would have liked in order to get a deco I could actually use on my farm. If it had not been tied in with the Village I would not have used up so much special seed or time on it.
