SUGGESTION: Enforced minimum game level for cooperative membership

I would love for co-op leaders to be able to optionally specify a minimum game level requirement for applicants which is automatically enforced by the game. When someone tries to apply to such a co-op, a message would come up telling them they are below the minimum requirement. Perhaps the minimum level could be actually seen in the co-op list.

Advantages are:

1) This would save some processing time for the leader and deputies when processing applications. In spite of the requirements clearly specified in the co-op blurb, it appears too many don't even bother to read them and just apply regardless to co-ops willy nilly.

2) This means a co-op could set open membership without concern for lower levels clambering in and clogging up membership overnight.

Ofcourse, this could be a lovely feature.

    I am with you @Rusty Farmer (AU1)

also this would prevent spies from creating new accounts and attempting to join cooperative's just to spy.

Than, it should be added membership history. For spies with new acount is on hope.
  • Maybe they can specify within the game itself, as to what lvl you need to reach before you can join a group. As the lvl around 20 or so seems to be the most popular for all gamers, have it set around that lvl before you can apply, but as far as forming your own group, leave lvls as they are.Maybe have them complete a specified number of missions also as rep points are an indication of how active the player is, or have so many rep points to join a group, either way. This may weed out the less active, and short term players.

The trouble is, the task to join a Co-Op ("United we Stand!") pops up at level 6 (and has a 100 gold reward), so that's when players start applying. :)

I agree with Rusty but this would require some programming effort. Moving "United We Stand" up to level 20 would surely be near effortless and would at least partially address the problem.

the reward part could make that a problem as ppl join to get the gold and then leave. maybe it could be made like the friends invite into the game and have a minimum time requirement in the co-op before receiving gold.you leave or are booted before the time and you don't get the gold. ten trys to acceptance to a group, then you lose the gold for good. may get more ppl to commit to a group longterm.

I wish instead, requirements to join would include
    1.  Min donation to the coop within a set period of time after joining.
    2. IF the coop has research they are trying to fill, signing up for one spot be required.
    3.  SHOW UP!  The least favorite job I have is booting no shows.  Rather have a box I can manually check to KEEP someone who lets us know they will be away.   Auto boot if not checked and they vanish.
Also if someone signed up for research, then vanishes, we don't lose the researcher if they get kicked out.

Then by all means, reward them with some gold for joining.
  • Not sure if moving the minimum level to 20 is a good idea maybe 14 would be more like it.

I do like the idea of having a requirement to get the gold, and that you need a personal message.
  • 17 would work for me. they would get some missions done to show they are more active, and enough expantions to be near their second permanent farm.if rep points are high enough, and they stay on often enough work the farm, i may consider them for membership
