LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER BAD EVENT...NO INSTRUCTIONS ON THE HELP BOX OR ANYWHERE AND ONE FREE SPIN AND IT COSTS GOLD TO DO ANYTHING AFTER THAT WHEN THE TIMERS ARE UP NOTHING HAPPENS EITHER SO NOT WASTING ANYMORE OF MY TIME ON THESE SEASONED EVENTS...TOO SALTY
I understand you may not enjoy this event but please stop yelling at us by turning off your caps ;)

The wait time changes as you select the lower level decos to spin for and reduced amount of gold to wake Santa to spin the wheel. Still costs.

The wheel has started on US1 at 6pm EST, as expected.

Says it's going to last for 7 days.

1,769 candles to level 3 deco.
4,087 candles to level 4 deco.
6,632 candles to level 5 deco.
13,182 candles to level 6 deco.
39,480 candles to level 7 deco.
88,009 candles to level 8 deco.

Then 58,639 candles to reach the TOP of the Level 8 Deco tree.

show the list of quality 7 deco and quality 8 deco , it helps ua a lot :)
Once you spin and are in the cooldown period, you can view all the deco - just click on the boxes on the right side. I was going to post some screenshots, but there's a lot of them.  I can do the level 8s though right now, as I haven't spun yet - trying to decide which one I want. I'll attach to next post.
I missed a couple of them at the beginning of the level 8 wheel, as I donated before getting the screenshots.

    lovely :_)

  • I hate santa wheel.
    he is stealing gold
  • I personally love it :) Got rid of all my catalist, some dung, runsestones etc I had a massive amount of.
Won the gingerbread house ;) I spent less resources for this deco than I spent on Santa's Wishlist, and loving the deco :)

It amuses me that the same "advanced" players who reprimand others for not reading anouncements and asking questions or complaining instead are themselves a bit later complaining about anouncements not being clear enough. :) Yet the complaint is about somethng where the interface is quite intuitive and easy to read even without any description. :) ´Go figure the mysteries of human mind ............ :)

Nice!  I didn't have the Gingerbread house in my list of level 8s this time around, or I'd have spun for it. :)

    I'll try again tomorrow! :)

    Good job!
  • I coldn't see it either on the display, but when clicked sping a whole bunch of new deco came up, and ended up with that :) Very pleased :) Nice Christmas surprise ;)

Here we go! Santa and his wheel of fortune. :) So many "lovely" decos, yet none of them is the desire of my heart. :) I think it's a good event as it can be so easily ignored by everyone (unlike whishlist). :) And filthy rich gamers have another venue where to flush their resources. So all the gaming world is happy. :)

PS: I set my eyes on some real estate which I plan to buy as soon as chapter 4 is over so can't spend here this time. :)

you dont even actively play on the GB1 server, not in the last weeks anyway, unless you have a double account of course

  • I had a sping this morning for a L8 deco, all worked well. Cool down timer started, shown 2 hours. Once timer run out the donation button did not come back, no more spin is possible. Other people are experiencing the same problem in our co-op.

u have to donate either 2.09 lakh gold or wait for one day to get down till your quality 2 deco is ready

cooldown period is one day if u dont use gold
if u use gold u can skip it
  • There is a work around to it. It's not ideal, but works. You can pick L2 deco, pay 900 odd gold to skip waiting time and build up deco to L8 with donations again.

That's correct. My account on GB1 server is a monument of a failure when I first discovered temporary farm x boat trap and was so disgusted that I started a new game straight away. Just what does it have to do with my comment you sneaky you? I preffer keepng my history on one forum instead of jumping around different forums whenever I get fed up and start playing another server. :) After all there's not that many English forums, are they? :)

I do like in screenshot for @Gardenfairy (GB1) the Touring Theater is level 8 but in tower it is only level 7.  Did GGS just change this to rip us off again.  It should have been on level 7 deco list, I have not checked them all out, others may have same prob
  • angie50 (GB1)angie50 (GB1) GB1 Posts: 223
waited 2 hours up, nothing happened , just counting down again, moved onto the next happiness level, which is 6 .
  • @angie50 (GB1)
if you have some gold, you can pick L2 deco and skipp the waiting time. I know it's not ideal, but it only cost me around 900 gold and got the Bunny deco, so it's not a bad price for it.

I was lucky enough to also win the little gingerbread house

And Rocky123 is correct, the cool down period is 24 hours, as shown below.

The timer that shows below here (screen shot taken 3 minutes later) most probably shows the time I have left (just under 2 hours) to decide whether I want to pay 369 000 gold  (hahaha) in order to spin the wheel again without having to charge it up again by donating.

    So not a bug, I don't think.
  • @amandaps (INT1)
    the announcement says:
    • This cooldown will have 7 stages. Each stage corresponds to a decoration quality level. It starts at lvl 8 and goes all the way down to lvl 2. Lower level decorations have longer cooldowns and lower skipping costs.

      • lvl 8 quality decorations cooldown: 2h00m
    So, it's a bit confusing.
  • angie50 (GB1)angie50 (GB1) GB1 Posts: 223
ive got to donate 39,000 to skip it on, not paying that lol
  • Lesley52 (GB1)Lesley52 (GB1) Posts: 1,590
last year my co-op worked very long hours, getting the ice palace. 6 weeks . Now if have enough to donate and spin lucky can win it. It may not have same happiness but Gretas around for that. Same with island decorations , top horse prizes. GGS showing their respect for our hard work by for the right price and some luck, giving them away.
  • You don't have to donate that much. Just change the deco value to L2 first (green tab). It will only cost you around 900.

We should not have to pay/use Gold if we are willing to wait the cool down period.
  • You are right @Data King (US1)  we should not.

Aaahhh, I see now what you mean with a workaround, Gardenfairy. Didn't realize you could click the other levels also, but probably should have. Clever of you to spot it, though. ;)

My lvl 2 now stands at 840 gold (to skip) but I'm not going to pay gold, will just wait for it to reset tomorrow.

  • I got one spin on the Santa wheel... beforehand I had to donate certificates...
Got one decoration - I didn't have a choice of quiality

And that's it?? one free spin?
I waited on the timer and it wants gold to wake Santa up

So the whole thing is one free deco? Quite an anticlimax if that is the case as I don't buy gold.

Would love clarification in this issue

(also, off topic, many many error messages, also keeps showing one more item than really exists "You don't have enough items available" anyone??)

Lucky Fourth (INT1) if you click the little arrow beside the donation area you can select other items to donate.

As for your error "You don't have enough items available" You'll to be a little more clear as to what it was you are trying to do before we can help you with it ;)
