How do I activate farm machines? I collect items I need & wait the days it says, but I can't seem to get them to wherever they're needed....or anywhere.

Click on the Garage, then select the second tab that says production farm machines. If you haven't yet built one of those, then firstly select build, and then select the activation button... for example if you've built the powerhouse already just click the button in the middle with the timer sign on it. Hope that helps.

Thanks....I'll have to look at the buttons again. I only remember the 2 at the bottom. I'll be back. I've built the machine & the one at the bottom goes up levels. I'm on level 2. The other button said something that I took was to put it somewhere, but that didn't work for me. I'll have to look for the button with the timer.

The button I was talking about to put it somewhere was "Place". It turned to tan when the time was up & I clicked it & I heard tractor motor briefly.......then nothing. I must have upgraded it (button on right) to see if it would work at next level. Now I'm waiting for time again. (I saw the timer button that you spoke of).

When you "place" one of the machines, it doesn't go on your farm, just outside beside the garage.

How do I get it on the farm instead of beside the garage? Thanks DuffyKid.

You can't. You activate it within the garage and it works from there. The powerhouse gives you more from your animal barns, the humus pro converts regular humus to premium humus, the special press gives you greenhouse humus and the farm flash gives you more goods from your bakery.

I'd personally say the Retro Classic is the best to upgrade first, as it increases the level of happiness on your main farm. This will give you more profit when running your farm without taking the space on the farm to add decorations.

Then you need to upgrade the other two at least once, just to get to the Crop Chopper anyway... I'd suggest a couple upgrades to the Earth Breaker to help you get more certs coming to make the other upgrades, but Crop Chopper is another one to upgrade fast. It gives you more workers without having to build the worker houses. I found that one invaluable!

Upgrading the Earth breaker to level 7 will get you 70% more certs for every mission you do, so in the long run you will get all the others upgraded faster by doing that one first. I agree with jojo that the extra happiness & extra workers are the best 2, though if you do the coop challenge, the multifarmer increases the amount of RP you earn for each mission, so that one is good too lol..... Bottom line is, all machines rock!

I'm agree with FarmerJojoBell and Scissors...
I just have to ad this: after have full upgraded the retro, earthbreaker and crop chopper, I'll suggest you go for first full upgrade the powerhouse and the special press.
    - I only use the Farmflash in the night when I sleep (i baking fruit cakes in the nights). I have dropped using the humus pro, because 1'st I nearly always forget I have some premium humus, and 2'nd when I remember I have some premium humus I find it troublesome to use.

If you click at the garage link in my signature, you can find some usefull information about the machines.

I figured it exactly the same as Scissors, buying machines needs lots of toolboxes and only a few certificates but there after upgrades need only a few toolboxes but lots of certs..
Personally I left the Multifarmer down at lvl1 until the very end. I reckon RP is used in some way in selecting your opponents in missions, so keeping my RP low should give me easier opponents and help maximise my haul of certs..

yep, your right about this, let the multifarmer be the last machine to upgrade fully.
  • What level is the Farm Flash Farm Machine (blue one) available?  Thanks

Hey Craftycritters I believe that the tractors become available around level 36 as for the Flash Farm Tractor it becomes available after you open the other 3 action tractors first.
  • All my farm machines are upgraded to highest level but I am not finding any bonus in certificates or RP points since the upgrade. The info icon shows only the RP / Certificates obtained from a mission and the bonus values are zero. Is this happening with me or others are also facing same problem.......

    My Farm machines levels are

    Hi,

My farm machinery (all at maximum) appear to work correctly.
I just successfully completed a pig mission, and the reported results were:
    RP: 8695 +6088 (Bonus) = 14783
    Certs: 61 +44 (Bonus) = 105

All I can suggest is the usual clearing the cache and reloading.

I checked the results of the last couple missions and my farm machines work just fine

  • @DreamScape Farm (IN1) Has this happened just once or on every mission? Could you try clearing your cache & see if your RP & Certificates increase, in case it is just a display error.

If it happens again after your cache has been cleared please let us know & also tell us which browser you are using.

    Thank you :)
  • @WascallyWabbit Thanks for your suggestion, I cleared the cache and then everything was back to normal.  :#:#:#

I hope everytime i was credited with the extra RP and certificates even if there was display error.

    Thanks once again.

    @DreamScape Farm (IN1) Great news :)

It appears to be a display error, but we will keep an eye out for reports of any strange machine behaviour. :)

  • in order just to see what it does you need the hovercraft which requires 120 tools and I can't afford that, so if anyone ever finds out what the roadrunner does please share with the rest of us. thank you

I'll never use the two fishing machines, but it looks like I'll still have to build one of them to get to the machine I would use.  No biggie, except I'm running out of tools to get greenhouse fertilizer.

I do hope they'll increase the drop rates for tools.  I keep my silo and other buildings going, but my drop rate is lower than what I use for greenhouse fertilizer daily.  I'll have to cut back there, methinks.

I'm excited about the shelving and increased capacity.  Will just have to be patient.

Has anyone built it yet, or that can post a screenshot of it open yet?

I can't open it until I build the hovercraft (7 more tools to go), and am curious exactly what storage it increases.. "RoadRunner" (with a picture of a refrigerated trailer) just isn't that informative.. :)

    Thanks @Southern (US1)

I hate that I have to build the stupid machine first before I can build roadrunner.
Meaning I must collect 168 tools more...... And more if I want to use other machines...

Ditto. I could care less about fishing. But because I want the Roadrunner for increased storage, I will be forced to build the Hovercraft.
  • i want them all!!!!
