Hotfix - What is it for

At 1 a.m., in the US, it says a hotfix is coming.  What is it for?

    Servers are down to fix login issues :)

    I had thought those were fixed in the earlier fix.

    When I logged in this morning I had a non stop stream of customers to my organic markets, all farms, for about two hours. Made 5 million. I have had other coop members experience the same anomaly. Did they do that on purpose?  Very nice. Thanks GGS.  I thought maybe it was part of the hot fix or the update or something is why I posted it here.

    Once in a while, randomly, we all do experience this Big Beck! I had it happening twice on my farms already (somewhere in the past, tho can't remember exactly when) - and indeed, as you say, very nice!!
