    Has anyone tried successfully to change their email address on the system. I have had to change my address as I can no longer access my previous one but when I try to change it on GGS via support they send me an email to my old address which I can't access !!

    I have successfully changed my email address for my farm.  Just make sure that you put in your NEW address in the email you send to support. 

    It worked for me.  :)

    Dear Sir/Maam. Recently Google had blocked my account that is registered with my BigFarm Account. So Please help me. I want to change my account.

    You will need to send an email to support for them to look into that for you.  No one on forum can do that.  We can just advise you on what to do.

    Hope you get it sorted out quickly.

    You will have to wait some time untill the support reaches you. Sometimes, you had to wait couple of weeks to get a response from them, but it seams that they become faster lately. Hope you hear from them soon.

    Wish I knew why you can not just change it yourself and why you need to go through support? I also just changed my email from the website itself! I went to preferences and did it and now the option is gone! That is frustrating that you need to send a note to support and they have to change it for you...... Well another frustrating fact that I can add to my list regarding GGS. (-'

    Well, you never could change your GAME email address trough preferences. The option is still there (I think), but it only affects your forum profile - changing email there does not change the game email.

    There is a good reason why it is so complicated to change your email address: your email address is some kind of your signature - your identity. It is a protection if someone hacks into your account. It happends mostly because some players foolishly give away their passwords to other playes who then missuse them. Via email, you can easily change your password and retreave your farm. If email could be changed in-game, the hackers would have a realy easy job. So the only way to change your email is trough support. And they will not change it automaticaly - they will ask you some "personal" questions (like how many times did you buy gold, when did you buy gold last time...) to be sure that it is you who is sending them a message.

    I've sent support a message about changing my email address only I don't have access to the old email address anymore.  I'm no longer with the company that gave me access to the account.  How will support contact me now that I can't use the old email account?  No access will mean I won't be able to trace how many times I bought gold for the farm.

    As I changed companies I need a new email address to my farm.

    I would like to collect the Space Race deco but without access to an email address I can't.  :(  Time is running out to collect it.

    @henry3 (AU1) When you fill in the boxes on the support form, put your new email address in there, so that you get the auto-response & any replies. In the main text of the ticket, where you ask for your email address to be updated, that is where you put your old email, so they can see that it is the one that you registered with.

    My valid reason for wanting to change my email is because the people over at yahoo stuffed up my account and its no longer accessible, I can login and play but god help me if I need to change my password

    EDIT: God help me indeed, the good people over at GGS proved useless, I cannot change my email as I no longer have access to my email as the people over at yahoo no longer allow me to have alias email with the .au prefix or even to create a full email with my alias email address.  What does this mean... if my account ever gets hacked, that's it, I won't be playing any more because my account will be unrecoverable and I cant be stuffed to start all over again.

    ive tryed through support but they cant help me change my email as i need to access it to verify that this is my account but i need my email changed as right now its a school email and the school closed down the system. if anyone can help, let me know any ways

    Start over with a new email & player name :(
