Unfairly booted
When I first join the [Name Removed] there was a different leader. All we had to do was to do was help with projects and challenges. Nothing was ever mention about being a warring coop where everything we did was to always win challenges. We did everything we wanted to help others in any way we saw fit. So I spent a good part of the last 21/2 years doing so and finishing all our projects. all was good.
Than the leader stepped down and [Name Removed] and [Name Removed]took over. Although I didn't agree with their stile I didn't create any drama and kept doing was I always did. I could see that once we finished all our projects thing started to get worse It was like they wanted everything we did to rotate around winning challenges. The final straw for me was when I had asked people to stop sparkling my humus and had asked for a milk buddy.
[Name Removed] had sent me a letter saying that we don't sparkle for cash we only do it for winning challenges. So I express to her that we were a coop and that there were more things to help with than just winning challeges..to which she replied that this was the kind of coop I was in. To which I replied that I didn't recall voting on this and that it was never like that under the terms of which I had joined.
It was [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] who decided that since we had won challenges without being told too that we were that kind of Add to dictionary took it upon themselves to assume that we were that kind of a coop. So they went as far to make everything done had to be for the benefit of winning. They will stop at nothing to see us win so the rest of the coops don't have a chance at the grand prizes. [Name Removed] had sent me a letter once saying that that was all he was concerned about "someone else winning a duck coop." It was than that I new what they had done to our nice friendly coop without voting or asking us if that is what we wanted the coop to be, they just ASSUMED for themselves.
Anyway my opinion was not the same as theirs and went back in forth with [Name Removed] only and said nothing to anyone else. So next thing I find myself booted out for having an opinion of my own. Even though I continued to do what was in the description of the coop from when I first joined. I spent a lot of time and money helping to build the coop and finishing off the projects to get booted and loose over half my income because the did yet another thing illegal they used me to get projects finish than booted me because I didn't like the way they were telling me what the coop is and not what it use to be.

You should think twice especially if you disagree about anything that your leader will boot you for before you invest any gold or cash.
Grrythrm, i am sorry for the bad taste you unwittingly acquired. Being in a wonderful co-op started by 3 wonderful people, i am spoiled. We have no drama, just wonderful team members that care about each other and we play for fun. This is the kind of fellowship all co-ops should experience. We write each other silly poems and act like kids when we want and adults if we must.

I feel that the Champ can bring out the worst in people and part of that reason is very few co-ops have strategically built themselves up if that is their goal to be number one. Many co-ops formed before the Champ became such a big part of the game and have a mixture of players ranging from very active morning to night players to ones who logged in for an hour or two a day.
Players who buy various amounts of gold, to players who do not buy gold.
It can be frustrating for those who are willing to buy and spend gold to find that the rest of the team isn't willing to do the same. We have lost three players after the last champ because of that.
It can be equally frustrating for those who cannot afford to buy a lot of gold who will spend hours on missions to build up reps only to have a big gold spender drop in for a 1/2 hour, do one mission, spin the wheel, and pass them up in rep points. Yes, that has happened and we almost lost that player.
So, while I think it is great for anyone who has found the perfect co-op where everyone is always in agreement I believe there are plenty of people who find themselves wondering if maybe they wouldn't be better off in another co-op or even not being part of a co-op at all.
