I av some in my team that are house bound , if it makes them feel happy GREAT. Im one , i dont drink , dont go out, i would love to av a life but cant so if i want to spend on the game i will. Keep ur nasty comments to urself .

  • Surely this is a mistake? We haven't even begun to recover from the last one. Please pull it NOW.

now i know that ggs has completely lost touch with reality!! i just read in the forum the other day that the dev's had no intention to change the frequency of challenges but they just did!!! absolutely ludicrous!!
  • Cooperative Championship: Starting in January, this event (optimized for this schedule)  will be split in two (duration of 4 days, twice a month, from the 2nd to the 6th and from the 16th to the 19th). This way, the burden and the stress of a long CC won’t happen anymore and, on top of that, you’ll be able to win rewards twice a month if you so choose.

The Mods told us last year that they will be 2 4 day CC a month  2-6 and 16-19 last year. My next 1 is 2/3/17 Ignoring any in between  I play by my terms not GGS
  • No one told me ANYTHING about this. No email, no message in the game. Nothing. Money-grubbers...  Anyone who believes this is to "reduce stress" in a complete imbecile.

It was announced here.  I do agree with you -- stress reduction?  Not so much.  LOL!

i would like to know how many days this CC is, it does'nt work out 4 days this one.

we dont mind 2 CCs we plod along and collect loads of rewards and av a laugh at the same time .

we av a plan , i spoke to my players with ideas , we know what we are doing now ,so why does'nt everyone else speak to there players to suggest ways round it.

most players do come online and play missions anyway, automatically.

They should all be 4 days long now, starting on the 2nd & 16th of the month, as described in the announcement on Dec 22nd & Temporary farms will start on the 9th of each month.

Why is the Coop Challenge started at 11 p.m. gmt.  It's not fair on us who have to go to work early the next day.  Can it not start at 9 p.m. at least it gives us a chance of posting a decent score at the start.

This is insane. People have been so stressed out by the frequency of challenges and the time it takes to restock, so GGS's answer to people is to INCREASE the frequency. Might be time to look for a more relaxing farm game.

You can take this game as training in self control and discipline. :) Go by your own clock. Always decide what YOU want to do. :) it's a war. They want your money, your life, your soul. And you need to fight to keep it ............. lol. :)

You need to take challenges back to once a month. Twice a month is too much and very costly for your average player.  Not everyone can spend money on gold for every Co-op Championship you have.
Once per month works out well for everyone. That makes it fair for every player, from your smallest farm to your old time veterans who play.

Having Coopcha twice a month is very expensive to an individual and insufficient time to prepare for the next coopcha is unrealistic.  Most people work and do not have the time to prepare for the next coopcha.  If GGS continues down this path, there is a very real possibility in losing gamers as it's becoming way too expensive to play for most people.  I understand GGS needs profits (which is not unreasonable) but surely this is going to lose a lot of paying gamers because of price and time for the average working person.  Yes, GGS will keep some of their paying customers, however, with the loss of gamers who usually make up (combined) most profits, GGS will suffer from loss of revenue.  Even the high spenders are starting to look for ways to save on gold.
  • coop challenge twice a month is too much for me. I cannot spend money on gold very often so my upgrades take forever. once a month is perfect for the average working players. I agree some players will leave the game because they feel like they cannot keep up
  • Twice a month is too much for myself as well. I do not buy gold and I need to save money and all other products because I do not fast forward them. I hope GGS is able to rethink their decision and reflect on all players and other Cooperatives who are not able to afford to buy everything as some players do.

Hamada2, If is to much yust dont play it.

I also dont play all. Play what you like and leave the rest.

  • Twice a month is way to much. I am a single paycheque home. I can not afford a lot of gold. I gave up another game because of the over the top demands. .I  know you have to make a profit but keeping this up you will lose gamers.. Once a month is fine I can handle that.

A "Championship" should be a very special event, set above all others. By having a "Championship" every two weeks, you've made it common-place & lack luster. You've lost the spirit of the competition & thus the interest.
While GGS struggles with it's internal organization & financial stressors, it is simultaneously shooting itself in the foot by shoving constant money making schemes down the throats of consumers. I get that GGS is a business first & foremost, but that fact cannot be mutually exclusive of the need to preserve the integrity of the product and ultimately, customer satisfaction. The "Championship" desperately needs a full over haul, starting with bringing it back to a more realistic and manageable monthly rotation. The disparity for competitive edge between large, wealthy co-ops and smaller gold conscious co-ops is overwhelming as it is. Cutting re-coup time needed to build up resources between "Championships" purely caters to continued wins for the already established dynasty. Unlimited gold usage; rotations that negatively impact lower ranked co-ops; offering high production products only to the current "Champions"(i.e. super duck ponds) which serve only to increase competitive disparity; and offering only insignificant winnings to any other than 1st place... all of these issues need to be addressed or consumer apathy will reign supreme.

I am finding myself frustrated and constantly pushing day after day to just get events done, there are so many running simulataneously.  Then add a Co operative Challenge twice a month and it is entirely too much.  If this game continues to be frustrating, I will find something else to play.  I appreciate all the friendships i have made, and enjoy playing at leisure within the physical and financial limits that life entails.  But a choice will eventually have to be made.   As it is now i have  ONE day a week when I can enjoy relaxed play.  The other six everything, meals, sleep and daily chores are worked around the game.  When a game becomes this tedious, it becomes work, when it becomes work.. it is no longer pleasureable.  At which time it is no longer a priority, or entertainment  players will burn out and move on.

I urge GGS to look at the game content and make adjustments that will bring back the enjoyment of the game.  Please consider decreasing the frequency of Co operative Challenges so that the enjoyment of competition returns.  As it is there is not enough time to re-stock, and make modifications, and upgrades between the twice a month challenges.  Once a month or once every 3rd week would improve game satisfaction and allow for players to complete events, build farms, and utilize the game content to enrich satisfaction.  As it is I no longer even attempt to do temporary farms.  There is just "Not enough hours in a day !"
  • I have to agree with the above comments. I do buy some gold but due to finances I can not afford to keep at it twice a month. I will have to cut back to either playing one of the challenges a month or just quit and find another game site.
The prizes awarded to the top co-op seem designed to keep them in that spot. I hope they can keep the offset of loss of players to there spending for the awards enough to keep GGS in business.

Here are my thoughts: They are going to continue these CC as they are now  why because the top ten groups keep them rolling in the cash.  There egos to be in the top and particularly first is a BIG cash cow for them. Ok so what we do is choose which CC we want to put forth the extra effort on as a co op. The ones we don't we take what we earn and are happy with it.  This brings the fun back and reduces the stress. YOU have to change your mindset to enjoy the game and with a bit of practice you will be in a good frame of mind and more relaxed about it and ready to root each other on  spread the luv with sprinkles when you want to reach out for a win.
  • I think a championship should be once a month for the working people they need time with family we all cant play every two weeks. I play to relax and enjoy the co-op friends that I play with. The cost to play is not always in my budget and is starting to be a strain on my wallet. GGS may need more money but I have the option of playing here or other places. Just a thought

I do agree with the whole thust of this thread but feel that the solution is to choose, as a co-op, how many of the challenges we put real effort into and how many we just tick-over at.
It is already happening. Challenge before last, we came second in our league despite not scoring very differently, six co-ops had decided to take it easy. Last Challenge we were back in 6th place with much the same score as the stronger co-ops  went back to full speed.
From experience I would suggest that one can score half your RP without making any effort at all. Start a mission, flip to the project display, farm normally, earn some RP, I was amazed at how well I did.
This is a strategy game, find a strategy that suits your co-op, with luck the massive gold spenders will decide to take it easy the week you decide to go for it and there will be a new top co-op (even if only for a fortnight)  :¬)

  • I think twice a month is too often, just too much time to spend at the computer. ( don't mind the intensity once a month but every other week is too often. just my 2 cents.

I don't really see the problem - it isn't mandatory - nobody is holding a gun to our heads - if you don't want to play an event just skip it - we do have a choice so make that choice. Uncle John describes here above how one could play the CK event once a month in serious competition and once a month by farming as usual.

Many players are complaining that they want to play this game for fun and to relax, and don't want it to be 'hard work'; complaining about getting exhausted, burn out, etc. ... but how could a game become 'hard work'?? Only if you let it happen!

Indeed, there was a time we could build up our farms calmly, but nowadays we have a lot of events running at the same time... So what? To me 4 years ago when starting this game it was for fun and to relax, and it still is ... I still enjoy the game very much because I still play it in a relaxed way (at my own pace) because of making those choices. And I even dare to say I like the CK more this way, because twice a month brings me & my coop members more rewards. :p

No person in his right mind would play ALL of these events that are running simultaneously - at least I can't believe that - It would mean you'll have to play 24/7 and having no life next to the computer. Why in heaven's sake would one want to do that? Why would somebody want to constantly pushing day after day to just get events done? It is just a game folks! Choose your events, plan your own schedule when playing what and enjoy it while playing!!

    Happy farming!  :)
