SUGGESTION: More varied items in contracts
Why does virtually every one of my 6 contracts require a ridiculous amount of pigs, most around the 50,000 realm? Even after I complete a contract, the next one invariably also requires pigs. I only have 5 pig pens level 7 which is all I really want. How many am I supposed to have?
My suggestion is that, when a new contract is calculated, it takes into account what is required in current contracts, and lowers the chance of repeated requirements. eg: If there are already contracts asking for pigs, the next contract with have less likelihood of also asking for pigs. The more current contracts there are with a specific requirement, the less chance of getting a new one with that requirement.
It would also be good to see rutabaga and alfalfa thrown into the mix too.
Comments
Conversely, I don't like corn contracts, so I tend to reject those when they come up. Under your suggestion, the game would detect that I have no corn contracts, and assign no penalty to it, effectively increasing my odds off getting corn (since anything I do have would have a lowered chance).
Therefore, your suggestion would effectively decrease the odds of getting contracts I want, and increase the odds of getting contracts I don't, which is why I don't think this is a good idea.
