  • How can a player be made a deputy?  and a deputy made the Leader (but not as the maker of the coop).? Our maker and leader has no answer and wants to do this, as he is gone for weeks at a time and the coop is suffering.
  • My understanding, and I may be wrong, is the co op leader purchased the co op.  I do not know if he can be removed for inactivity.  That would be best answered by GGS.  You would have to send them a message.  Can the deputy act as the leader in the meantime and make decisions?  Would the rest of the co op be okay with this?

Only the co op leader can assign a deputy to a player with in the co op. Only the founding member can assign a co op leader at the time of opening the co op. If the current co op leader is inactive then you must wait about a total of 30 to 33 days for the leadership to change to the next highest active deputy.

I am thinking of leaving my co-op. What can I take with me ? I know the dollars for research. but what about all the decorations I have. Will I start with my monies that I have now ?  Will I lose my present level ?

When you leave the coop you will have ALL your Farmdollars, you will have your same level as you have now.
when you have donated collectables for a project you can take then back from the project as long as that project is not running and you will take those also with you.

The decorations are yours. I don,t know how about that deco,s with the coopvillage hapiness, but i asume you will take those also with you.

Only when you have donated gold to the coop you will loose that gold

    @Terri8 (US1)
If you leave the coop you loose
    1. Dolars and gold that you have DONATED to the coop's account
    2. If you buy a researcer with gold, that gold (and the researcher) stays in coop - you can not take it back
    2. Bonuses from researches done by the coop

    You can take back:
    1. Collectables from the project
    2. Dolars you used to buy a researcher  BEFORE the research is started
If you do not take the collectables back before you leave the coop, they stay with the coop and you can not get them back later on. On the other hand, researcher is taken back automaticly if you leave the coop (if you wish that researcher stays with the coop, you have to wait until they start the research before leaving).

Everything else (dolars and gold on your account, decorations, bulidings, level...) is yours goes where you go. There is no way you can leave these things with your cooperative even if you wish so.

How long does it take to join a team
    Depends on the team ;)

When you send an aplication, coop leader and deputies can see it  imidiatelly. As @Data King (US1)
said, everything else depends on the team (deputies and leader). First, some of them has to be online to read it. There is a lot of dead coops there, where members are not playing any more. In some coops, deputies and leader have to talk before they decide to accept or deny you. Sometimes, they just ignore invitations.

If you do not get an answer in a day or two, you would probably not get it at all. Then try another coop.
(Advise: do not just send the "standard form". Write at least a sentence or two with your own word.)

Thank you all so much on your help. I did notice when you leave a co-op, your farm stays the same, I did leave my old co-op, it did not seem friendly enough for new comers. I had learned a lot on the Forum. I would tell everyone to go on Forum, it is a Great source of information. Thank you very much. Oh our new co-op is Wayward Seeds. There are 5 of us so far. We are working on building our co-op. There is no set level.  We want to help the new farmers under level 15. We have a great Leader.

Awesome glad it worked out for you and your group :)
Now you may want to start a new thread/post in the "Cooperative News" section letting players know that your co op is looking for more members to join your group. Be sure to include the co op name as well as any requirements the co op may have ;)

You earn coop XP by playing COOP PROJECTS  (see 4th tab in yr coop (chat) menu) together with your coop members.

You can find some fine info on coops and how they work here:  https://bigfarmtips.wordpress.com/how-does-a-co-op-work-in-bigfarm/
  • I am founder of co-op
have the most invested in co-op
can start projects but can not find a way to donate goods after the project has started ????
  • The goods are automatically added to your project total or just click on bent arrow for immediate new total.

The co op village is not active yet, but you can reach it through your world map.
Are you sure your co op has enough to start a co op project??
    This should help https://bigfarmtips.wordpress.com/how-does-a-co-op-work-in-bigfarm/
  • Hi @naza (INT1)

I notice that you are not a deputy in your cooperative.
Only deputies, or the leader, can start a cooperative project.

How does a leader change a deputy?
If you click on any member's name in your list of members, a box pops up that has a dropdown menu. This is where a leader can change the status of a member. :)
