Ever day I play my free round on Santa's wheel. If I forget about "gold issues", appart from that the whole concept of this add on event is excellent. The levels, donations, timers, choosing deco  ...... all makes good sense. If I didn't have "more important" things to invest into right now (and gold issues were softer), I would play it with pleasure. I don¨t even mind donations being expensive as it falls into category of "non critical exclusive extras" and it's only right that there are mechanisms to limit the use or overuse. I think regarding the concept of this event somebody in BF team has done very very good job. :)

Why don't we have "thumbs up" smiley on forums? :)

    I hate santa wheel.
    he is stealing gold
you can grab 1 deco or 2 deco of your choice without using single gold

I like the new Santa's wheel, it is a lot better than last year when all you could donate was farm $$.  I like that we can donate anything we have in stock.   I will be getting 7 level 8 deco using 0 gold.  1 per day happy dance time.  This is 100 times better than Satan's list

BIG THUMBS UP FROM ME ON THIS ONE GGS  :)

last time also you can donate seeds and feeds but this time  due to new feature added like fish etc , gives us relief to reach q7 or q8.

  • I wish we would get better instructions on things in 2017. Also, that they do not put things out until the bugs are fixed!
    Merry Christmas Everyone!
I would like to be able to add a "whole lot more Likes' to your post.
I hope your wish, is granted.
Merry Christmas, a happy and safe New Year to you
    l :)

this wheel spinning thing is very confusing.  I would of course like to spin for a level 8 deco. I have donated enough to light the "vine" up to level 8 but the decos on the wheel are still level 2 to 4. What am I missing?
  • :) As you complete the vine the next box on the bottom will light up.  This means that level prize can be spun.  You have to do this for each level that you want to get to.  It takes a lot of donations to get to level 8.
  • I apologize if this has already been asked: can anyone confirm FOR SURE whether this event's timer is accurate in US1? Don't want to miss my "last minute" opportunity to donate and spin big if Santa is resting and the event ends early.

If this event runs like the hunting ones and it should then we will have until mid after noon Dec 31 EST
They usually add most of the lost time from the very first day to the end of the event. I'm not going to try and give you an exact time. My best guess would be between 4 pm & 6 pm Dec 31 EST.
  • Thank you for the best guess, Data. :) I would still appreciate a definite response from the Mods though. Once burned twice shy, I think the phrase is?

From experience, I can tell you that the timer on Santa's Workshop is correct. It's only on "Multi-Stage" type events (Hunt for Mushrooms, Santa's Wish List, Rudolph, etc.) that the 6-hour Day-1 bug rears its ugly head.

The bug doesn't affect events that run straight through, like Santa's Workshop, Co-Op Competition, Hard Worker Event, Wheel of Fortune (etc.) because there is no "Day 1" for the bug to affect.

At this point even the timer on Santa's Wish List ending time will be correct, because we're in the last chapter - but that's neither here nor there.

I know you want a "definite" response, but please keep in mind that the Mods, wonderful as they are, are players just like us.  They have to get their answers from the Developers, and even THEY don't know all the ins-and-outs of this bug (They got it wrong on Santa's Wish List. The Devs did, not our Mods). :)
  • Ok, thank you Southern. :)

my question of the day, and i was a little slow in getting to this conclusion and i did cruise through the comments, but did not see anything about this.

How is Santa's wheel a gift???

I have to donate several million farm dollars in stuff to spin the wheel to win a deco.

So in essence I'm paying for said deco, and I would really really like someone to tell me why?

Did Santa go over to the dark side when he started working with GGS???  Did Rudolph after all that teasing by the other reindeer decide to go into marketing????   Does GGS understand the concept of Christmas - gift giving and all????

How is this a gift???  Pay me for my donations and then let me spin.....  THAT IS A GIFT.

    @ ben9 (US1)

thank you for your very lucid comment but you were not expecting GGS to
really give us anything were you? ;)
  • You donate the items, and donate, and donate and donate until finally you get to a level  that actually has something that you might like to have.  Then you have to spin the wheel, and then what happens?  You get the same thing that you get when you spin the Wheel of Fortune,  Sometimes one wonders why you bother to offer prizes at all.  If it can come up on the WOF why put it on the Santa's Workshop.  Oh yeah cause some people like it.  I have a solution to the issue because  it really isn't a problem.  How about letting us donate until we reach the level of gift we want and use either cursor or arrow key to arrive at the decoration we actually want and have wanted for some time as apposed to spinning the wheel and getting the same decoration 3 times in a row.  What would it take to cut us a little slack and actually let a player pick the decoration they actually want?  We are reasonably sane people you know and occasionally we have good taste so how about it?

While I like your idea @FunnyWalker22 (US1)  the answer to that is yes you can do that just fork over your gold that is GGS  answer for everything.

Ahh my dear Damaria3 the whole point was to be generous for the season.  Allow us as individuals to get what WE not they want.  As to the gold thing well of course I could use my non existent 339,000 in gold to get level 8 decorations but do I seem like a person lacking in common sense or a working brain cell?  Bad taste occasionally, but ALL my brain cells are firing and I smell rip off a mile away.
