oh "swearing" forgot that @Data King (US1) So I am stuck with whatever I get or the whole co-op suffers . Hardly fair at Xmas , glad semi retiring from game soon
    Yes I am afraid so.
I agree very bad timing for this event. At least last year it ran and completed before Christmas day so good old Saint Nick could deliver all those wonderful gifts we have harvested and donated in time for Christmas morning. So yes not fair at all for this time of year or any time of the year for that matter :(

You could be correct there @Kamilcom (GB1)
Your co op members may have been getting a certain pattern of list items but for us, some have been as you have stated where as others have not.
I must have got lucky then as 1 of my lists did not have a fish item on it. Now this could be just a glitch or bug for me on that list as I have no real idea if it was a mistake, a bug or even a glitch. So I comment on have I have seen and done for this event and share my opinion on it. It does not make it right nor does it make it wrong, just 1 players findings.

@Data King (US1)I just deleted myself. I realised I jumped too hastily to conclusion without gathering enough data to support it. Sorry about that. :)

Please no need to apologize @Kamilcom (GB1) We need all different types of input to really figure out how this works for the general masses. It may not be the same for every one but at least they will get a good idea of what to expect with the event. So a big thank you for that ;)
  • all staff are on holiday
    Hey @isa100 (FR1) they're not holiday just yet. ;)
  • I don't remember reading anything about everyone seeing different list to help complete, once you've completed yours.  Everybody in our co-op are filling different orders for the same people...example: member "A" has one item left on their list and it eggs...but another member see that member "A" has only pig food left and yet someone else sees something different from that same member.

What's going on ??  Sounds BUGGY to me. >:)

What holliday? Coders and bug analysts can't go on holiday when their product is in terrible mess with fields and gardens covered with bugs. Equally ballancers shouldn't even think about holidays when they created event expecting players to sit at computer 10 hours a day during Christmas season.  Hey, work first, rest later. Clean up the mess, then summer ........... maybe ......... :)

@SANDRAUser60 (US1) I believe you were around for last years SWL event and are trying to compare this year's event with last years. Which would make sense if it was the same event. But as we are discovering it is not the same. So no I do not believe that it a bug and or glitch when it comes to the phase 2 part of the chapter were members of the co op can help others with their lists by donating. Just because, as your example "member A" needs to harvest eggs, does not mean that every one who can help fill that list will have to donate eggs. It could be any thing.

That happens because the task list that shows up for those who help is different regarding their level in the game and ability to, in fact, help a player with a level way above its own.
So, each player who's helping sees a whole different list accordingly to it's own level, like a "level translation" of some sort, nevertheless it's your original list that you're going to get concluded.
    No bug in there ;)

And to refresh your memory @SANDRAUser602 here's the bit from anouncement. :)

Phase 2: Guardian Period (helping others by donating products)If you finish your own task, you can immediately start helping your friends by donating products (required goods may vary and will scale according to donors' player levels)!

  • OMGosh...well this is just wrong, no wonder we are all broke & empty on everything,   and for what ???

A ZERO happiness value deco, but only to some....?
Yes I see GGS put a lot of thought into this event, for GGS not the players !

BUT LET US BE OF GOOD CHEER, It is only a game after all.   :#

    That's all I'm going to say  :(

@Southern (US1) even if they all work together unless you are in a large co op still not worth the effort as the happiness level for small co op on reward is very low.  Our co op has 8 members we all complete stage 1 and 2 our deco was 25 HP that is 2.5hp per square and due to ridiculous high amount we had to donate for phase 3 we were unable to even try to get 1 vhp.  Every week I get a deco with equal to nearly 4HP per square with  lot less effort so for the small co ops it is not even worth any effort.  Large co op get more HP and their amount to donate per player for phase 3 is less.

THIS EVENT IS ONLY FOR LARGE CO OPS, VERY DISCRIMINATING AGAINST SMALL CO OPS

You keep forgetting that these decos are an unusual size though, 2x5, and will fit in tight spots better than those 5x5 or 6x5 decos do, though. That's why the small decos like Pretty Rope Lights (also a 2x5) cost a fortune.

It's extremely easy and cheap to get these carriages up to 4 happy per square (or even more) with Greta, and due to their small size they're easier to fit when you're playing Farm Tetris. (Greta also increases BOTH farm happiness AND Village Happiness at the same time - or at least she did on Test).

Most people in our Co-Op love them mainly because they ARE high happiness, small footprint decos.  If that's not something that appeals to you, or isn't "worth the effort" to you, that's fine - but it is to me and many in my Co-Op. It's also fun to give us a common goal and something different to work towards outside of the standard events, CC, HWE and all that. :)

I agree with Southern the only reason I chose to play this time was because the size was not a monstrosity I have farms and an Ice castle on it not at all my cup of tea  so a deco that I can HIDE until xmas  ok I am in. Again I am waiting to the end to see how fair GGS will be in awarding happiness for this when finished.

I forget nothing @Southern (US1) they are NOT high happiness, they are only 2.5HP per square how is that high when the weekly event I get 4HP per square with no effort. Just to get equal to weekly deco of 5x5 and 98 happiness you have to upgrade using Greta 12 times, just to get it the same.  For large co ops you get better HP, but unless it is over 35 weekly deco is still better.  36 hpx2.5 for same area =90hp, still has to be upgrade by Greta to be equal to weekly 5x5 98HP
Next point is most high level farms only have deco on FF so deco are useless to them.  As for VHP most of the small co ops can not even get 1 per deco due to the ridiculous high amount need to donate to get.  So VHP is useless to small co ops on this event.

Tell me how an 8 member co op is suppose to donate 72k pig feed (9k per member), when a co op of 46 only has 122k (2.6k per member) how is this fair, to get the same 1VHP?

  • I agree with you.  Mathematically I do not think it is possible without using special feed, gold, or boosters.  I calculate that you would be short if you are using just regular feed and nothing special.  Boy, I wish I could help you but I am one of two players in my co op.  We have had some ridiculous amounts too so we are not doing the co op portion of it.  Just too stressful besides being impossible.  We decided to play just for the little prizes and if we get a carriage...well that is icing on the cake for us.   Best Wishes and Good Luck.  :

  • @UserPkmwg1 (US1) how much had you happiness been the first 2?
  • 24 for each if I understand what you are asking.  However, the second carriage has nothing on it and GGS is looking into the problem for everyone.
  • Ok... so I've been donating stuff to help others fill their lists and I've noticed a couple of times so far that when I donate something, even if it doesn't require everything that is in my storage, IT TAKES IT ALL!!! :( That is completely unfair... at first I thought I had just not realized I was down on some stuff, but I just went to make sure of what I had in storage in olive oil... I had 960 olive oil and the person only needed 346 to finish that line on their list, so I donated the required 346 and went back to look at how much was left in my storage and it was ZERO.............. how the heck is that even close to correct math???? I should've had 614 left.........

GGS is STEALING stuff out of our barns people.................. how is this ok???????????

omg  Tiggergirl that is awful but for them to do anything you will have to have documented proof I hope that if this is happening others will be able to document  feel sorry for your situation and hope that they take care and reimburse you.
  • IT DID IT AGAIN! :(:(:(

http://prntscr.com/dlo7w5<< romantic bouquets BEFORE donation (have 3,095 in stock)

http://prntscr.com/dlo8gl<< amount needed to donate (need 464 to fulfill this order)

http://prntscr.com/dlo8uo<< romantic bouquets AFTER donation (after my donation my stock should’ve had 2,631 – BUT it now only has 835!!)

    @CuddlyFoxes@WascallyWabbit:

HERE IS THE PROOF NEEDED THAT IT IS TAKING WAY MORE THAN IT SHOULD :(  It took 2,260 out of my storage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That is a shock to my inventory and at this rate, how am I supposed to help others in my coop, if my stuff is being stolen? :(:(:(

    PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!

  • I had that happen to me too Tiggergirl
  • . .Some members of my cooperatives complain that they do not account feed for pigs in the Christmas event ... Anyone else have this problem?
  • so many "glitches' ive lost count and don't report them  because its just a waste of time really.sad to have to say that but its just how its been for a long time.

Ask them to double check the type of pig feed that is requested for the list ;)

Don't agree! This forum indeed is there to ask questions so that others can help you and to report any bug we encounter. So please keep doing so. Both can be done in a polite way.

That does help as other, more experienced players can answer your questions and the moderators will pass on any bug they read about to the technical dept.

What really doesn't help is complaining all the time or bashing GGS continuously.

    Happy farming!  :)

One of the things required for me in this chapter is 260x Vanilla.

Problem is... it's nowhere to be found.

How does one complete an event for a non-existent item?
