Hey guys i just noticed this,  its from the Selectable rewards update=

For * some events* and offers, we will add the option to hand out different rewards.

Will They eventually give us the option to choose from on HW event?  4 example.

catalyzes=  or tokens or some kind of seaweed or... u get the idea dont ya?

Other thing that is really old and they can change with a simple click is, the decos. (god the old decos)

Farmers luck and Farmers pride they r so... i mean if we didn't get the same decos over and over again it would be ok but after so long it gets frustrating and boring.

So the bottom line is, i don't see the excitement on HW anymore, i play it as it goes not for the top prizes( i dont try to get there anymore ) don't set alarms as i used to (hey i used  to love it) well i cant even close a comment on it without getting depressed.

@hemmy1 (US1)  I hear you.  I used to look forward the HW event.  Now, I just farm as usual, and if I harvest something that gets the timer going, and collect a few things along the way, fine.  If not, go big deal.

P.S.  Anyone care to buy some catalizers?  I have a barn full of the useless things.
  • @hemmy1 (US1)  The bright side of the repeated, earned decors is that you can trade them for landscaping points now to upgrade the decors you like better.

    2 questions if I may?

No1. Are rewards the same as for level 40, level 140 and lets say 200?..not sure how many level do we have.

No2. @MsWalker (US1), what do You mean by "it's getting worse"?

If i remember correctly (not sure i do) the WH event goes like that...
levels 12 to 35 compete among themselves
same for the level 36 to 61 (not sure at all on that) but once u reach this level 61 or 66 cant remember u will be competing with every one else (up to the level 999) not fair i know but hey its GGS idea! lol
  • Thank You @JVD (US1)! I was keeping my peepers on the tank, and it worked exactly as You said it would :)...living learning :D

It's two groups, Level 0-64 is the first group and Level 65-999 is the second group.

    I think first was 20-40.
    Now I am in 40-60
So I thought the next ones would be matched like the previous, which would be fair.
But if 60 or something fighting against 999 is just.. just, well.. I'm speechless.

But the point is nothing new and exciting as hemmy said said same ole same ole so no whoop but more prizes that are questionable cataylizers.

Event has started, yay, but I still would really, really appreciate the game telling us how many hours it will last.

    Pretty Please :)
There is a timer on the bottom of the event menu that tells you how long to go until the end of the event=)

The problem is, at the beginning it just says ~2 days.  In other cases like that, you can put your cursor on it, and it will show you how many hours.  This one does not, until you get down under 24 hours.
  • Its Simple Math really.

    One day equals  86,400 seconds

    x3  (days) =  259200

     x5 (speed) = 1296000   =  2 gold certificates

Bottom line is, if u keep the speed at 5,  24hs during the 3days u will get the 1.2mil good luck

hey Popeye the event last  3 (days) =
    72hrs
    4320 minutes
     259200 seconds
that's the numbers we need to do our hard work.If we log in and the events is on, its hard to start it when we don't know how much time of it we already missed and if we have to work harder in order to complete it.

When I started less then 6 months ago purchasing land was cheaper a great deal cheaper like about 75-80 percent cheaper then it is.

The game wasn't so much geared to gold players.  There was no wheel of fortune during the Championship that now give you rep points.  If you notice that before the championship there if you use $80 in gold you can get 250 tokens during the championship and before the championship.  People use those to spend the wheel and on the wheel are rep points anywhere from 500k to I think it's a million, and you have 250 of them to do it with so you spend the wheel 50 times and during those spins 5 times you get 500k in rep points.  Now remember that rep points is what puts you at the top of your Coop with 2.5 million rep points.

Or the decrease in items during an event, but they compensate for it with the fireworks.  What they did was reduce the number then during fireworks display they put the number of items given to what it was regularly before the fireworks thing started.  I could go on for about 4 or five more paragraphs but the thing is It's workable.  Not as enjoyable but it is workable as it is now.

  • You see, no matter from what angle we will look at it, it will always be someone who is not happy. It is simply impossible to satisfy all players in the world. So many complain about catalyzers, yet I am sure there are those who using them. If catalyzers gonna be removed, I'm sure there will be complains about that too.. We are getting treasure chests and tokens, seaweed stuff and a little bit of everything for everybody...is it really that bad, really?
Yes, it is that bad when you put in all the effort to reach a higher level and end up with a big goose egg of a prize. Kinda makes you wonder "why do I try..."; Yes it is really that bad

I have no idea what players are satisfied with this, you would have to be above level 300 for this to be of any value at the extreme cost involved
  • Would it kill you people to come up with something other then the Farmer's luck prize for the Hard Worker event?????  Every time the event comes around you give these annoying prizes again, and again, and again ad nauseum.  Not that I don't give them to Greta as soon as she comes around cause as said tired of them but there are worth so little when you demolish them it's almost not worth it.  There are so many decos that people actually want that you being the people that you are could just pick several from the group and give them out instead the same ole thing over and over and over again.

Please Please Pretty please with sugar on top and various sexual favors from eskimos would you please give us a choice in the decoration we want from Hard Worker event of greater or the same value, cause the Farmer's luck has definitely run it's course!
  • JVD (US1)JVD (US1) US1 Posts: 2,784
just make sure you build them and get the xp before you give to Greta or whoever it is LOL

I do exactly the same thing.... they are useless to me except to get some parts to upgrade other decos I keep
  • exactly, i'm bored of getting the same decoration again and again

I totally agree @FunnyWalker22 (US1) some new and useful would be so nice.  Say a 2x2 deco Level 6, yep, I'm a dreamer.

But after I read your post I had to reread one section:

"Please Please Pretty please with sugar on top and various sexual favors from eskimos would you please give us a choice in the decoration we want from Hard Worker event of greater or the same value, cause the Farmer's luck has definitely run it's course!"

First I burst out laughing, (my family thinks I'm insane cause I play a farming game in the first place, let alone when I laugh hysterically for no apparent reason...like what, it's time to harvest the pigs?)  But then I imagined what those could be, and how that might appeal to our German developers, and the laughter only increased. So thank you, it's been a stressful few days, (sheesh, it's a game, need to chill out), and your humor was a much needed diversion from the same'o same'o I usually find in post after post after post.

Your Welcome.  I figured it might help if things got interesting and they actually read what we put in here.

I really like the Hardworker event.

It is challenging to finish but not entirely impossible, depending on how much of your time you're willing to spend on it. That's choice.

The prizes leading up to the final 2 Gold Mining Licences, I consider to be waymarkers - showing how far i've come, and how far still to go. Some of the prizes (like the seaweed products) I use to help me get to the destination quicker. The destination of the journey being the 2 GML's
And seen against the background of the rest of the game, that is a decent prize.

The Farmer's Pride and Luck are nice enough in that they at least look like something you'd generally find on a farm and they can be demolished for parts (and more parts than you'd get for a BBQ or a tree, so there's that).

Don't forget that one can have only so many decorations on your farm, space being needed for  many other, more important, buildings. So the majority of the decorations you earn while playing the game will either be demolished or languish in your inventory anyway.

And don't scorn the poor catalyzers. Looking at the test server farm is seems to me they may later be used for things other than only what we know about at present.
So I'm collecting all I can, and who knows, one day may be very glad for that.

Cabbages came up a couple of times for me today. The second time, I had one field of cabbages ready to harvest. Harvesting that field started the timer, which ran down very quickly at which point I was able to start the next item in the queue. If one doesn't want to use gold to skip items (and I don't want to), and also doesn't want to be stuck harvesting something you don't really want, minimal harvesting seems to work quite well to move the queue along. It may not get me the top prizes in the event, but it saves aggravation and allows me to focus on harvesting things I actually want to harvest.

That does seem to work for me as well Pingo but what about those harvest that can take six hours or more before moving to the next item, more & more members seem to be complaining about this, example: barely for seven hours now, and don't get me started on apples !  That works well overnite but all day as well ???  Now if a gold mine certificate were waiting it would be worth it....ha ha ha

All I know is I used to enjoy this event .    :'(
  • My Suggestion To Skip Past Something Is To Collect / Harvest Something To Start The Timer On The Silo. If No More Is Collected / Harvested. The Timer Will Run Out And Push You Through To The Next Item
