This might be a silly question. But where do you see their names.  I dont even know this Omar.. lol
All I see is Hawaiian dark hair guy, hawaiian guy again, but selling different stuff, and old man sell gold items. Man with hat asking to spin wheel and doctor girl with pigs along with 2 11 yr old boys playing games.  So what are their names?
    This might help.  http://big-farm-addiction.wikia.com/wiki/Characters
  • Agree the catalyzers have replaced useful rewards which can be a bit disappointing.  Maybe GGBF could allow a person's profile to contain preferences with desired awards in order of priority and customize it to work automatically with each player... or perhaps allow for trading of items and/or allow an opt out for certain things like catalyzers.

    Just a thought

Here is part of a comment that i just made and believe or not i was talking about the same thing on a different topic lol

If there were some market where players could talk exchange items like katalyzer for horseshoes or anything they want, that would make this game not good but GREAT couse every1 would see what u have and r wiling to exchange it for and come and talk to u so that would b a   GREAT interaction between players. its Never going to happen i know couse it goes against GGS money making machine, that means players would go to the market instead  buying it, but GGS the people who buys dollars, fertilizers etc they wont stop couse they dont have the time to produce it so it wont change that much just make it more interactive and fun.

Interesting, we had the same thoughts!  But Hemmy, I disagree that it would go against GGBF's intention on making because people would be happier playing the game being able to get something they could use.  Like getting horseshoes instead, I would never ever buy horseshoes.  In fact, really don't like the horses much because they are an added chore as the horse training is excruciatingly slow as it take sooo many horseshoes to train horses unless you invest great time and effort.  I personally think it would make the game more interesting and those who don't buy seaweed, etc. would also probably participate more in missions, etc. if they got them as rewards.

    Just a thought...
  • I agree..it wouldn't damage the game if we could have a bazaar or a market where we would be able to buy for farm dollars items from other players..other games has it, so why don't we?

And trading would make it especially interesting and more fun especially for things people don't usually buy.  For things GGBF insists on selling, well they could make a commission perhaps or figure a fair way to make it work.

catalyzers are worthless for most players, I am not doing hardwork for a catalyzer, I started before I realized catalyzers again..waste of time and money.

I don't spend money on the HW event.  I mean, really, you're just buying products at an inflated rate.  However, you are right about the waste of time.  And catalizers I don't need.  I just farm as usual, and if I just happen to harvest something that gets the timer going, and maybe pick up a reward along the way, so be it.  Shame, because this used to be such a fun event.

but there are a lot of other good rewards in there as well. I am not spending gold on this, just harvesting products that will keep it going to collect as many rewards as I can get... love getting the horseshoes, seaweed and surprise boxes :)

it is 2+ days (~ 2 days)... when it gets down to less than 24 hours, it will show the hours to the end... I have gotten used to figuring it out.

    Still want my lab!

I have this task on my farm too.  And NO WAY am I giving away 100 Fertilizers.  You know how hard those are to make. You cant get enough dung to even make enough to supply your orchards, but they what you to have 100 left over to give away for a lousy 70k.  They can keep their task.  I am never never doing this one.  I guess it will forever remain on my task board.  I was hoping it would fall off and go away.
  • @PKGame (US1)  There will come a day when you have to sell them to make more.  At least there were those days, before the farm lab.  It's hard to believe, but it will happen.  Now when I have too many I just throw a batch in the farm lab to be turned into premium fertilizer.

And most of those kind of tasks you can do a bit at a time.  Give it 2 today, 2 next week.....

Is there a way to know during the No Pain No Gain event when the timer will stop ADDING on time from harvesting and switch to LOSING time quicker? Does this happen after we hit a certain number on the productivity gauge (such as 6 points per second for example).

Thank you in advance for any answers!! I am trying to figure this out not only for myself but some members of my co-op as well. I apologize if this was answered on the forum already as I must have missed it when I searched. :)

    Event: No Pain, No Gain
Farmer George needs a little help packaging farm products to be sent off. He owns a machine to move goods from the silo into boxes, but it has its best years behind it and we all know a helping hand with such backbreaking work is always appreciated.
So, will you help him? He's also offering some rewards to make up for any help you can offer, be it only small!

    Introduction
    • George would like you to operate his machine to maintain an efficient pack up process.
    • A quick instruction on how to handle the machine is shown once you click George's silo outside your farm.
    • Once you've read the instructions, all event mechanics are started for you and you may begin filling boxes by collecting requested goods on your farms.

    Machine functionality
    • George's machine fills collected goods through a funnel into boxes for transportation.
    • Several boxes are queued up. They are closed and moved over automatically if an empty funnel is detected.
    • A timer indicates how much time is left until the funnel runs empty.
    • Boxes with undesired goods can be skipped at any moment, using gold. The more boxes that are skipped, the higher the costs for skipping get.
    • A productivity gauge on the machine shows how efficiently goods are being packed at every moment.

    Points and ranking
    • By delivering and packaging products, you can earn points to unlock rewards.
    • The productivity gauge is connected to a point meter, showing how many points per second you will earn at your current speed.
    • The productivity gauge's needle moves forward with the amount of products you manage to pack in one box. The more products are put in during the duration of one box request, the higher the needle will go.
    • Since the machine is rather old and pushed to its limits easily, the remaining time until a box is moved automatically will decrease the higher the productivity gauge goes. This is a security precaution.

    Rewards
    • Depending on your score, you may unlock different rewards.
    • There are hard work and ranking rewards.
    • Hard work rewards are granted once a certain amount of points is reached. Decorations include:
      • Farmer's Luck
      • Farmer's Pride
    • Ranking reward decorations are granted if you reach rank 1 within your level range:
      • Fresh Food Lover Boxes (level 8-16)
      • Cereal Lover Boxes (level 17-26)
      • Blooming Beauty Boxes (level 27-40)
      • Meadow Flowers Boxes (level 41-64)
      • Harvest festival boxes (level 64 onward)
now this may not explain it all but I hope it helps ;)
  • Yes, @Data King, we understand that, but...

"Since the machine is rather old and pushed to its limits easily, the remaining time until a box is moved automatically will decrease the higher the productivity gauge goes. This is a security precaution."

When exactly that time start to decrease? Because in the beginning it increasing, after some point it start to decrease, so what triggers it? ...I would also love to know answer to that.

Thanks Data King but no that does not answer the question. I appreciate your response though!

EDIT: I had a theory on here earlier but deleted it off this post because I was wrong. Basically @EmaAndMe (US1) said it best above:

I'll tell you what triggers it -- when you start to make progress.  By reducing the time left on the clock when you've increased your points per second, GGS effectively slows the process down so you will have a harder time finishing the event and reaching that last valuable reward.

This part of the game needs to be eliminated.  If you work hard and earn more points per second, the time left on the conveyor belt should remain where it was instead of penalizing us for hard work, IMHO.

Not sure I can explain this clearly, but will give it a try...

as you harvest whatever product you need... as you hit various lvls (pts/sec), at each new lvl it will decrease, then harvest just enough to stay under the next lvl and it will increase. Obviously some products give a better return than others.... I love apples... can get 7+ hours running with it, based on the level you get the points per second. if I hit say lvl 6/sec... I will add just enough not to hit lvl 7/sec.

You can try this and see it work, took me a while to figure it out. Some products are awful and I just add enough to let it run til I get to another product I can make work for me.
  • I agree. The catalyzers are the most useless reward yet. Everyone I've talked to is NOT going to spend the money to upgrade to the level you need to use them. They keep offering them more and more, even in events.
If you could sell them or trade them in for something else, I would gladly!

I also still have this issue with keeping fertilizers on plus side, also I believe with time it will change, but...what really, really annoys me..You know, annoooooyingly annoys me, is her vocabulary..:
"pulled some strings to give us the big tralalablehbleh"..When did it become "us" exactly? Wasn't she just writing her newspaper articles? So who is running the farm, her or me? Who do the dirty work, her or me? I don't see any "us"..so I'm keeping my pile of smelly poo and she can go back to her papers!...ain't talking to her, there  :*

Thank you @JVD for your reply! I appreciate the help. :) I think I understand now. Before this I didn't know that every time we gain a level on the productivity meter we will lose a chunk of time on the clock but we make it up by harvesting in between levels.

Where I got confused that caused me to post this is that It did not feel like I was being deducted time at all when I was working on milk. I got up to level 6 over a few hours and every harvest seemed to only add to my time, though less and less as I leveled up. I kept waiting for the time when it would deduct minutes from me but maybe I missed it every time it happened or I made up for the lost time in the same harvest. I heard others had the same question so then I posted here and it was answered quickly. Thanks!!

I'd rather get regular humus than those stupid, useless catalyzers!  I can't afford to get my lab high enough to need them, and getting those potions for all my hard work is the same as getting NOTHING.  This is NOT fun, ggs.  Take those things back and give us real rewards:  special seeds, fertilizer, event seeds, even feed would be better than catalyzers.
No No No more feed I have so much feed it is ridiculous and special feed done in the lab as well.
  • You see, no matter from what angle we will look at it, it will always be someone who is not happy. It is simply impossible to satisfy all players in the world. So many complain about catalyzers, yet I am sure there are those who using them. If catalyzers gonna be removed, I'm sure there will be complains about that too.. We are getting treasure chests and tokens, seaweed stuff and a little bit of everything for everybody...is it really that bad, really?
  • Have you noticed, in Hard Worker, that we now get fewer useful prizes for the same effort?

That's because they substituted prizes we could use for ones we can't - catalysts, that require very very expensive upgrades to your farm lab to be useful.

Once again, that basic lack of respect for the customer shows through, The rip-offs continue

Can't someone at GGS get an effing clue?
They have a Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo India November Golf clue. Which is why they do the things they do.  There thought is if you don't like, don't play, there will ALWAYS be someone else along that will play the game the way they want it played.  The best thing to do in my humble opinion is do it your way as much as you can and tell GGS that ok the game is yours but the playing of it is my way and I'm sticking to it.  And I agree with the commenter that said you can't please everybody but GGS has a serious record of just pleasing themselves or their stock holders.  Just do it your way and avoid the aggravation it makes life so much simpler and we all know the KISS method.

It's not that bad, but it's getting worse. It seems to those that have been here awhile and I have to agree with some of them that it's no longer a game that you do the best that you can and go from there.  It's more of a gold rush thing and a great deal of players take the free game to heart and expect that if you earn enough during the game you should be able to purchase what you want/need with the cash you earn in the game.  It may take you awhile to accumulate the cash but the goal is obtainable.  As it stands now the only way that some of the truly rewarding goals are obtainable is if you dip into your real money, purchase gold, and proceed with the game.  Some can't or simply won't do this.  So even with the rewards you mentioned and some of them are good, and there are less of them as I have observed, and it's true that you can't please everyone around the world and make them happy, GGS needs to stop lying to the public and state what they intend to do is make this game for those that are willing to pay real money.  The players that feel that this isn't an option are going to complain therefore, GGS has provided them a place to vent this forum.  They figure as long as they don't have to deal with it themselves, they can carry on with business as usual, people have a place to state how they feel, their fellow players can also vent their spleen on the injustices that GGS throws at them and life continues.  So no it's not really that bad but it is frustrating for a great many people.
