Oh wow! I never thought having that many cows was even possible! I haven't even considered it but I guess they're a true milk farmer :hushed:

Their gourmet farm had 48 Duck coops too.
I think I would get bored, always making the same feed and planting the same crops.
They wouldn't even be able to do some of the events where you need to feed pigs, or produce pigs, etc. Of course some events you just need to donate, so you could buy them.

  • artful (US1)artful (US1) US1 Posts: 6,617
    Yep.
  • I  almost sure it was fairy tale event where you could buy the apples to donate. But like I said can get costly. Better to just save up seaweed fertilizer for it.  May take awhile but that's the way games is sadly. If not willing to invest in game takes a very long time to do things and get items you may want.

I will agree with you @jennifer4 (US1) that it does take a long time but this is a long term game ;)
I have been a player here for almost 3 years now, rarely buy gold, so I know what you mean it will take a very long time to get almost every thing in the game, if that is your goal.
Personally I know I will never be able to get every thing, as some of the items can be only earned through certain events, like the co op challenge. Now if I were to leave my co op and apply to a high level co op, like the top 5, then I may stand a chance at earning those few decos and rewards that are only available through the events. Ha ha ha but there is no way I'm leaving my co op just for a few decos and rewards!! :)

I didn't say that was my goal. Said may take a long time to get what you want if not willing to invest in game. I don't like some of the deco. Like the ones in Asia event, but have them on farm for happiness. Now would like to have new things but will not get them because will take gold to be able to upgrade them. Right now keeping gold for my water towers.
  • This game was once fun and had a small factor of gold use in it. Most people i started playing with 4 years ago have left as the game has went from a little gold use, to if you would like not to be last in everything the game offers then they will try not only to get you to buy and use gold but a weekly event deco has gone from 5000 gold to more than 30,000.00 if you don't finish this is Crazy. The missions couldn't be more boring worse than a casino with no chance of hitting it big its just over and your broke its like playing a games of cards with everyone having extra decks of cards. Nothing in this big farm game is fair it is all gold controlled wins so i am having a hard time lodging on any more. If you don't like to work for it this may be your game if you like to repeatedly hit a gold button over and over and call that fun and challenging and really funny they call it a online strategy game of what learning where they placed the gold fast forward button. I have bought and used gold understanding that the game is only free to play if it turns a profit but most at Goodgames Studios with the increase in the cost of using gold over 4 years that most must have retired by now and they need so much more for the next generations the way all has gold options and how many hundreds of time the cost keeps going up. I would rather pay a set fee than the way this game has gone and it be the same for all no advantages so when you do get top whatever you have earned it and feel good about it i love the ones that announce i got 1st place in ???? i just smile and laugh and say to myself really how much did it cost you. And all these weekly updates mask all the changes in the back ground like the temp farms and how much they keep going up the increase of decos the changes you don't notice until you need to start buying farm cash to keep your game going or the latest the reduction of collectables the games give so coops can't do projects when i put a ticket in on that i was told you can now buy them with gold. Really i never noticed. Have fun and yes its not only the missions that are unfair in this game

  • I don't care, really, how much gold someone buys or uses and for what purpose......I just wish GGS would make a way for the actual "farmers" of the game to compete with the other actual "farmers" of the game...........It is so frustrating to get a mission, and see a certain name pop up with you and to know that you might as well forget about even trying for a first or even 2nd or 3rd place finish......because you know, it's already in the bag for them and the infamous "Skip with Gold" button!!  lolol.......but it's whatever really........it's like real life, if you think about it.....us have nots won't ever get and us have it alls only seem to get more and more.........lol.......peace

Ok you two both mention that you can copy steps of weekly events, well where would one go to find all these steps.  If I knew that I needed say milk, then I wont start my production for the 7hr milk and just continue with the min - min milk production and be able to do the next quest when I comes along.

I was wondering, If you have say 41 cow shed, could you deconstruct those shed and say put down (without building time) your chicken coop, if you had say 41 chicken coop?  I really want to know is can you deconstruction a building and it goes to your inventory and then place it back on your farm?

I know you can do that for decoration items, but can you do that for coop, shed and fields?

You can only put decorations in storage, not any other buildings. Once you demolish them, they'll be gone & you would have to build a new one if you wanted it back. If you had a level 8 cowshed and decided to demolish it but wanted to add it back later, you would have to build a level 1 cowshed & upgrade it all over again like you did before.

No.  You can only put store farm decorations.  If you demolish (bulldozer icon) a field, chicken coop, etc., it is gone.

@MRG1 (US1) Some players build a 'mission' farm so that they can excel in one - or more - missions.

  • BOO to you all.  Debbie downers :(:'(   No fair.  I should be able to put my level 4 coop in storage while I move my other items around so I can have just the right placement of things on my farm.  No fair not fair. Where is management, I want a refund. :)

I mean why is this not implemented in the game already. It should ask you if you want to store or completely remove, that is not so hard a button to add. It is already doable for deco, why not all things already purchased and upgraded.

Because GGS doesn't want it to be part of the game?

I'm a mid-level BRONZE league player, and during this championship keep getting matched up with the members of the
FIRST PLACE CO-OP in the GOLD league.
These people are hundreds of levels higher than me, and in a different league.

Shouldn't I be matched up at the least with people in my own league?
If not, why are there leagues at all?

    Thanks for reading,
    Gramma Leah

As a former member of some, not all and not the top, ranked gold co-ops, I can explain a little here. They actually give a speech to their groups that before the championship starts, to play missions to LOOSE. Their logic is if they keep ending up in missions with each other then the game will see them loosing against a player of the same level, so they move the first player down to those ranked lower then them so it may balance out more. If a level 200 cannot beat a level 100, then the 200 shouldn't be in with the 100 and move em down to be in with 50. RANKES ARE EXAGGERATED TO SHOW THE POINT

Honestly I not sure how much truth there is to that system. Personally I do feel like the missions are mismatched. Should be based more of number of fields or chicken coops for egg mission, not just level.

I'm beginning to think there is little point playing in the championship at all.
AGAIN I'm up against the co-op Hangin n chilin.
Not against just one, but TWO members of apparently the top co-op in the entire game.

    Extremely frustrating.
  • There is more to matching farmers in missions than just rank.  If a level 200 has only 1 pigsty they may be matched against a level 50 with 1 or more pigsty.  The same goes with fields, etc.

I think the point she was trying to make is that the matching is not by rank and maybe rank should be a bigger part of the equation.

I am level 216 with 4 cows at level 9, 6 at level 7, 4 goats at level 7, and 4 at level 9. Yet I end up in milk missions with lower level players (under 125) who may have total of 6 cows and 4 goats with the levels of each ranging from 1 to 5.

Honestly and no offense, but I don't wanna be in a mission with them because it's not balanced. Granted I don't wanna be in 1 with those top people who just use gold or seaweed and push their way though and pull in those extremely high numbers that those of us that rarely have seaweed and don't have the gold to buy it will never see.

It should be based more on play style, rank, number of milk output for cows and goats for a milk mission not just how many cows or goats since a level 1 cow should not be considered equal to a level 9, etc.........

The best advice I have read was not to concentrate on winning.  Just do your best to finish, and you'll still earn RPs.  The more that's harvested by everyone overall, the more RPs you earn, regardless of where you finish.

I do agree, though, it's not fun being pitted against high level gold spenders.

Same problem, I am being pitted against players who are 8x my level and produce 1000's of crops, et cetera to my sub-1k efforts... it's a total joke!

Well I will never forget what a moderator said when players  were complaining about the price to upgrade farm lab. People that are willing to invest in the game have to be given advantages. Just might be one of those advantages they don't have to invest in. LOL I feel like only players GGS CARES ABOUT ARE PEOPLE WILLING TO INVEST IN THE GAME.

I can tell you this, I will never pay for a game that doesn't have a level playing field.... sooner rather than later this game will die out...

  • @archerbob (AU1) You benefit from being in missions against high scoring players, because you earn more RP & certificates, provided that you do not come last. It is true that you are not likely to come first, but the point is to win rewards & coming 3rd or 4th (out of 5 or 6 players) with a high total group score, will get you more rewards than coming 1st against low scoring players & gradually your level will increase until you are one of those high scorers. :)

    Well sorry folks ,

like it or lump it  nothings going to change ... GGS will always look at ways for people  to buy gold , and a lot will take advantage of that for a win.... yeah yeah ..I know there are no rules not to gold or use purple stuff during CC's heard it all b4.

But everyone has their own opinion about mission fairness, I have finally learnt to let them go for it ...  the Golders that is,

    Me ....   I'd rather win without a handicap  :p

    hey,

would like to say that no mission/coop-championship are challenges will be honored unless a match is organized without being able to accelerate or buy.The rankings of the cooperations and members look different. So do a match without the use gold/seaweed/rad etc...

Then you cane see who is rewarded for work!!!!!!!!!!!!!
