The problem has persisted continuously for more than 3 weeks now on my other farm (on the Int server). I've cleared every conceivable cache, tried 3 different browsers, and keep getting the message that my username and password do not match - despite the fact that this is the same username and password I have always used for Big Farm (and which I am obviously still using to actually log in to my farm with every single day for the past 3 weeks). Go figure, right ?
I've concluded that this is a sign for me to cultivate a more quiet persona
And who knows when, and if, it will ever be fixed.
I've contacted support 10 days ago but so far ... well, nothing but a ticket number
The problem with not being able to log in to the forum is also that you are unable to tell others about this difficulty because you cannot post at all.
This makes me wonder how many other forum members might be quietly suffering the same fate but be unable to utter even a peep to tell of their distress?

I don't know if this problem will ever be fixed but take some comfort in this: the forum will have to do without our insightful and penetrating comments and suggestions, and our witty banter, and we will surely be missed ....
Here's to hoping it all gets sorted out soon ...errr, soonish.
this seems to be a misunderstanding, today's update will only update the current PHP version of the forum software and is not aiming to fix this issue. Furthermore, there's no special update planned for the weekend to take care of this, just regular maintenance as usual. We will of course continue to examine the login problems (in fact, we've got people on it right now), but as of this moment, there's no date for a final fix.
That said, of course we might be very lucky and this update will coincidentally help with the issue, but please don't count on it. Sorry everyone, but I'd hate to needlessly disappoint.

i have contacted support but still not heard from them as yet... it takes at least 10 days to hear from them as they are very busy.
hopefully i don't get kicked out of using safari with the next update.

Listen, I wrote to support about this, and about an issue on another of GG games, WEEKS pass before I get replies, then the main problem with that, then NEVER include my original message.
So the standard reply goes like this. Not word for word but you get the idea.
"Sorry for the delay, we have had a lot of tickets, hopefully your problem was resolved in the last update, if it continues write back."
Great! So WHICH problem are they referring to here? Do they think I actually copied and saved the ticket number? Maybe I should, but why? Write back? WAIT again? How many times around the merry go round do we need to go?
(hint; issues I get with yahoo mail sometimes need at LEAST 16 rounds. I don't have the patience for a dumb game. Bad enough I have to fool around with tier one tier two.... until I reach someone with a brain, but for my email I have to. Not here.)
So I tried again. Funny how when trying to contact support they have a link to the forums suggesting finding your answers there.

(YES that's shouting. Nothing infuriates me more than STUPID associated with the word SUPPORT.)
And please, do NOT give me the usual, clear this that and the other, or try another browser.
1. I clear cache ALL THE TIME.
2. Cookies and history both I USE ALL THE TIME and have NO plans to clear either.
Fix your site.
3. As you can see, I'm on here just fine. I have TWO computers. Both Imacs. (this one is only a few years younger.) BOTH are using the same OS. BOTH are using the same version of safari.
So clearly this is not a computer, OR browser issue here.
And NO I'm NOT going to try another browser. This is the one I use. Again, seems fine IF I'm on this computer. What gives? And it's not just me based on the many other posts about the same thing above.

The GAME seems to recognize my user name and password just fine.
So why then do the forums not recognize the exact same user name and password?
WHY DO WE HAVE TO LOG IN AGAIN FROM GAME TO FORUM???? How dumb is that?
I rarely play on THIS computer. The other is my typical game puter. And when some new thing doesn't make sense the place to find answers is the forums, not pestering support.
BUT I CANNOT GET INTO THE FORUMS UNLESS I GO TO THE HOUSE WITH THIS COMPUTER!
My answer to that has been lately, I simply haven't played. Screw it! Let the candy thing go this time. Let the assorted events go. Can't get the biggest prizes anyway so why bother?
Only been checking in because I run a few coops, and try to help out in a third. But aside from that?
What's the point? Support doesn't care, why should I?
I hope this means problem is solved for everyone, as I noticed system for login was a bit different than it used to be ...
But at least today I can post and read my mail in the forum again....

Is anyone else getting this message from time to time? After having finished writing a post and clicking on "post discussion", it does not post it and instead shows this thing "body is required" ...
I have to refresh the page, and even though I clicked "save draft" , whatever ive written is gone, so have to re-type (or copy-paste after realizing this), and then on clicking "post discussion" it works.
Last time this happened was a couple of weeks ago, i took a screenshot then too.
Edit: How weird i cant find this thread in the technical help section, have to go to my own comments to find it...
PS. Here is a body for ya to use if it happens again...
WHAT happened with the *Discussions* page of the forum?? Every time I click "Recent Discussions" I get a page filled with announcements (some from ages ago), and have to go on search for the really recent = latest discussions!!
And when I finally found one, it will not bring me tot the latest post, but quite annoyingly to the very first page.

If you click "recent discussions" & then, "mark all viewed" that should fix that part for next time you visit forum at least.
Up until now it didn't fix or change anything, but maybe next time I log in.....

So did they actually do something? Or is this a random bug issue that will pop up again and again?
And the saddest part, those who still cannot get in, can't do anything about it since writing to support is about as useful as writing a note on a paper airplane and shooting it out the window.
Hey admins.... how about some way to contact you OTHER than logging in here? Since logging in here is the issue at hand?
