But about duration i agree
Some positivity in a forum that has descended into a cesspool of negativity and childishly rude manners (or rather, the lack thereof) in recent days.
It has been grating.
To the extent that I'm seriously considering only reading the announcements at the top of the page from now on and avoiding the rest like the plaque.
We should all take a leaf out of your book and give credit where and when credit is due, rather than just moan and whine and complain about everything.
After all, if there truly is no credit due anywhere regarding this game, why are so many people playing it still ? One would be daft (or a masochist) to choose to voluntarily play a game that makes them actively unhappy and holds no joy or pleasure.
If they can truly not find a single positive thing to say about it, they should really just give it up and walk away (since it just cannot be good for their own health and well-being, apart from anything else).
As for old George's event, I'm a big fan. And as you say, now that the duration has been adjusted it IS actually possible to finish, with some seriously hard work and good planning (and almost no gold, even ). I don't always play the event full-out, but he still has some nice and very welcome goodies, even when I don't.
So keep up the good work, George, GGS and Gavin !
