Fire Monkey Dismantle Value

I didn't participate actively in this -- the decoration I earned was the result of just my normal farming -- a HUGE decoration worth only 21 happiness points.  But the dismantle value is only 2 -- other decos of the same happiness value are worth 17 or more to demolish.  Had to laugh.  Anyone else have a low demo value?

I think my happiness was only a 10 & I got a 2 for dismantling it.  Why would anyone want a 7 X 7 decoration worth 10 happiness?????  I added it to some others & upgraded some decorations in the 70-80 range (much better)  :-).
The whole zodiac thing was a waste except for a few bags of fertilizer & such. I hope they don't do that one again.  There's no way to opt out of it & prevent all of those zodiac things from flying out of your fields.....lol
  • Other than the necessary counts to actually get a decoration worth having, the zodiac event was okay.  One weekend we were away at a convention, and aside from that I basically kept bigfarm on 12+ hours a day and it still wasn't enough to finish most of the signs.  I got 3 done, was close on a 4th, and nowhere near finishing the other 8 signs.  I also didn't get a single flag.  You would think playing that many hours a day I could at least get a few of those, right?  They really need to adjust some of these events to a more realistic level.

A correct f2p model lets you spend time in place of spending money to gain a similar benefit.  If you spend that much time and the real rewards are still that far out of reach, that's a problem.
  • Event was FAR from being ok and only like 10% of the people I've seen felt it was ok, 90% of us, which is the real vast majority of us firmly believe this event was a total joke and most of us got 10 happiness 7x7 piece of crap item out of it and I DID put effort in this one thinking the item might be interesting, had no idea that I'd get NOTHING at all if I had not complete one of those insane circles eventhough the overall I had lots of progress on all of them.

Seeing how much effort I put in this one, I fully understand this game has gone one step too far and made me think about my future here or lessening even more my playing this game which requires just too much cash now.

Why would you ever want to dismantle this lovely decoration;) I think the devs just figured most people would keep the deco as it is unique, and one that is earned in an event. It is quite a low dismantle value though.

Why dismantle it? Because it is huge and ugly, and not high enough happiness to compensate for those two factors.
  • I don t like the fire monkey for that much effort it take to complete the task, that I did not complete for the time given was to short. May be I spent not enough time.in the game.  Still feel the monkey take to much space

I think there may have been a touch of sarcasm in Popeye's  post :)
  • Glad to see Popeye has a sense of humor!
  • I would like to see a completed fire monkey, it looked interesting. Anyone out there complete the entire thing?

just look up the top players in US1 rankings. the top player has one on his main farm
  • I dismantled mine bcuz it gave me a VERY low happines value, took up an excessive amount of space on my farm, and i got ove $167,000 for demolishing it on my farm.

There is a difference between demolishing  and dismantling. Dismantling can only be done through "Greta" the "Landscape Architect" when she is visiting your farms to get parts to upgrade your other decorations, where as demolishing you can do any time you want or have your building spot available to do so.
