Are your paper cranes laying eggs so you can use them in the bakery??? I imagine it is difficult wrangling them in cages without harming them...

I'm happy today because it's Say Something Nice Day !!
    say-something-nice-day-764x382.jpg
Say something nice Day began in A Big Farm Cooperative near Charleston, South Carolina, when the Mayors of North Charleston and Charleston came together with Educational, Health, Church and Co-op leaders to create a day to be kind to the special people in our lives, like our children. It’s also a day to remember and celebrate people, who provide us with a variety of services, such as bus drivers, healthcare workers and teachers. And, it’s a great opportunity to apologize to people that we might have wronged or hurt through our behaviour. The aim of this special day is to fight against unkindness, bullying and the lack of politeness that dominates society today. The creators hope that this one day of pleasantness will grow, until people are nice to each other everyday. Set an example.
Encourage your Children and Workers to be Nice to each other on this day.
Happy Harvests and Happy Say Something Nice Day.:) Cheers, Doty'n Willy

alas to the best of my ability in my sad situation. I did say several upbuilding nice things but they were only returned with bitterness, and denial. tomorrow is another day maybe i will make progress..:(

    Big Farm cat needed,
To keep mice and rats away,
    Lots of free sunshine !

I hope this is appropriate !
  • Hi Ithrrr, thank you. Yes, very appropriate. We want Cats on our Big Farms!
  • Just like poker, haiku is easy to learn and takes a lifetime to master.
A haiku is an unrhymed, three - line poem. Though there are different ways to write haiku, the traditional pattern in English is to write the first and last lines with five syllables each and the middle line with seven syllables. In other words the pattern of syllables looks like this:
    Line one: 1 2 3 4 5
    Line two: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
    Line three: 1 2 3 4 5
Most often haiku poems are about seasons or nature, here you can write your haiku about anything you like. Two more things to keep in mind are that the haiku is centered on the page and the last line of a haiku usually makes an observation. That is, the third line points out something about the subject you are writing about.
3 anonymous examples, first haiku about, School, homework and dogs:
    My homework is late
My dog ate it this morning
    I sure like my dog
    Seasons:
    Winter is coming
    Snow will be arriving soon
    We should rake the leaves

If you count the syllables on your fingers as you read these poems, you will see that the lines have five syllables, seven syllables and five syllables.
And here's another subtle hint to GGS from the - We want cats on our Big Farms file.
See two examples from me in the poems threads: Big Farm Cats and Big Farm Bats :)
(Always try to be modest, and be proud of it! lol toot toot)
