These sections badly need to be combined.

@gavinfarms (US1) That is not possible as one is the official discussion thread by CM Nafaru on the EN forum & the other is the same by CM Popeye on the US forum. However, all your own posts will show on your comments list on your profile, so you should always be able to find them. :)

I donated my all things, the limit was nearly 50,000 but only got a lemur statue. I thought once I donated all the things the spin will remain in same deco quality level which was 6 but I was wrong as I spined the wheel, I got lemur statue but the quality again got down to 2 for next spin.
According to  WinnerSudais (INT1),the limit of candle points is 50k so Scissors can you please check once is the Limit over 100k or is it 50k?
I think the Touring Theater is the top or the final deco as it is quality 7 and an exclusive deco to this event so maybe when this deco is in the 7 decos for spinning the limit would be reached.
    Thanx for helping :)
The limit is 126.000+a bit, and the button will turn grey. And there are 3 more decos after the exclusive Theater.

    What did this cost?

    Volty-
    What did this cost?
In dollars - 2000 per 1 candle point.
In different goods - much cheaper imho

For example: you open Theater at 102858 candle points and it's a chance to win it for 205,7millions dollars.
  • The sunflowers were 2 candle points per unit, and sunflower seed bag was worth 300 candle points. I think that super humus or seaweed humus were for best price(25 per unit I guess or more)

A Chance to win??  For 205.7 million.   Yikes~!  Only for dreamers or the super rich, I think.  This sounds as unreasonable as the original Santa List before they decided to pay for the donations.  Not my cup of tea, for sure.

205.7 million......wow...... that sounds so incredibly reasonable, doesn't it?
  • I think it all comes down to ( as usual) how much gold do you want to spend.
And it also goes down to how much GOLD you have.
  • I stayed up to four in the morning for this and am not impressed at all thank heavens i got a gift that i do not have but it cost me a load of flowers and cash to get to level four and the gift has a happiness level 25 so disappointment again.  For holiday fun they sure have missed the boat. You keep donating money and goods not knowing what your going to end up with you would think donating up to level four you would get something more valuable. Sorry another fail here this was not fun.
Usefully sometimes you get good decos but almost never I can't fail to see what your talking about.
  • i have never even seen this so called santa workshop at all

The workshop was here this past Monday for one hour, it was really early in the morning when it showed up. It will return again as Latten & Nafaru (CM's from the EN forums) suggested and will be here for a few days. Most players will not be logging/playing on December 25 when it shows back so the time has been extended.

If you haven't read the Official Announcement about how it will work please check it out here on the US form & you can also read the discussions on the EN forums as well. On the EN forums are some pictures and some players have stated what gifts they were able to get in that hour and what they had to give to get those gifts.

    Good Luck.

    Happy Holidays to Everyone

You just need to collect snowflakes from your main farm. Unfortunately, your co-op will have to finish in the top 24 to get the frozen crystal palace and increase the happiness further.

Its a sad ending to this event, IMO.

  • I was only able to participate two of the first four weeks,  Every week I was required to provide a large quantity of fruit cake.  After my barn was empty of fruit cake from one week, it was impossible to fill the next weeks list,  I just had to refill my barn for the next week.  Also being the largest farm in my co-op I was only able to help one other farmer meet their requirement on the first week.  Now the fifth week comes, and it is apparent that the smaller co-op just can't compete, so for most of use it is rather pointless.  It seems that the larger farmers were prorated to the point that they really couldn't help out the other's in their co-op. However, the smaller co-ops are not prorated for the last week so they can realistically compete.  This event need a little thought as to how to improve it.  Ideas, don't make it so that a farmer has to complete the whole list in a week.  Smaller co-op have too many in-experienced players.  No matter how many times I told others to only donate if they  can complete their list, many still contributed and achieved about 5% every week.  I don't want to have to boot inexperienced players.  There contribution should help instead of blocking the whole co-op from achieving its goal.  There should be away where everyone can contribute and larger farms can help along smaller farms.

I am saddened by this whole snowflake deal not for myself as my coop decided not to participate and it looked so darn stressful that I opted out to and morale. For those people who struggled with that list being told that they would get the animated castle and now to find that only 24 coop will get it is outrageous.  All smaller coops working themselves to death to find out again it will only be the top 24 is a slap in the face. GGS should be ashamed of themselves I have no trust whats so ever in anything I am told here now. This is a sneaky low down way to skunk you players.

I some what agree with Damaria. A week long Co op Challenge is tough for most Co ops but the week of Christmas? In the end we will get a deco of some sort at some kind of "appropriate player level" value.
There is really no stress to collect the snowflakes if you you do not want there to be. Work your main farm as you always do, through in a mission a day & you might be surprised at how many snowflakes you get. :)
  • Overall I liked the event. TY For letting me at least sell my goods for a new purpose. It was fun.

Can you please change the images from just flowers to seed bags like it is with the other special seeds?

Guess they didn't have time to fix this before the holidays, it's still the same.

So watch out farmers, hover your mouse over certain special seeds (violet, roses, yellow hibiscus) because the seedbags and the "product" have the same icon! i.e neither have the seedbag icon

Can you donate Runestones to the Santa Workshop?
Yes, Runestones, seashells, vouchers, even horseshoes :)

Im fairly low on farmdollars (I blame the vikings) so i donated nearly my entire farm inventory :D
    ..Nearly..? I mean literally
My upper-limit-candles offer had a slightly different arrangement than what Volty posted earlier. Of course the four 7er are the same but the 6er seem to change.

Edit: @RunsWivScissors (GB1) I had no troubles donating rice.
And congrats, I wish i had stopped donating at the wellspring of charity, much prettier than that hideous touring theater.... *cough* regrets, who, me? Nooo. *stares into empty barn bleakly.. hearing animals complain loudly about lack of food*
  • Congrats @RunsWivScissors (GB1)  :)

I'm curious.  Can you upgrade the Wellspring with the landscaper or is it like the telescope?

Yup yup, tis upgradabubble... Mine is on 110 happiness now
  • Woohoo!

  • It's sooo cool to spend THREE HUNDRED MILLION farm dollars and get an exotic decoration!. Wish I have 3M to spend in real life for a decoration.
I feel that - the fewer stars I've got, the less trouble.

Ok, also darn near cleaned out thanks to the stupid island thing.  (I can NEVER EVEN GET HALF WAY THROUGH chapter 2. Bankrupt for nothing.)

Thought I'd try this.  Slid the bar across till all the available prizes were mystery boxes.  Spin.
the boxes blew by and cheap piddly decor is what I landed on.  THOUGHT I'd have a few more spins but no.  All that money gone for one spin?  Poof gone?

Santa is too damn greedy here.   Between these weekly events that my coop pushed me into playing along with, now this?    My ONE shot was spent.   What a rip.

(Kicks yellow snow onto the raindeers feet.)  Enjoy the cookies santa.  Sure costed enough.

I am furious about one thing, so far.  The icon/image for Sunflowers and Sunflower Seeds are identical.  I accidentally donated 23 Sunflower seeds.  Obviously there is no need to write to support, because GGS would do nothing about it anyway, correct?

Just used up my stars another big win for developers not so big for players they did not tweak it and make it better at all. Sorry I could not use those useless snowflakes either.
