How is it even possible?
I mean... that took me aback totally, how in the world can a horse that low be in a section that high? I know at times I do challenge level 14... or even 0... ZERO level horse in gold section, always believed the zero might be a bug since a horse cannot start in that section at level 0.
So, reassure me someone and tell me how it's possible for a low level horse to be inside a high level section?

hi pooxy, this is possible because the horse one uses to race with other players is different from the horse one allows others to race with.
For example, players in the platinum league may have a lv 50 horse they use to race others to earn points. These same players may choose to let other players race their other level 0/14/28 horse. That is why you see the lower levels.
Alternatively, the level 28 horse is a specialist horse who has the stats to win say 'dressage' most of the time. Thus, the horse has 84 points for ___ (can't remember the stat) and 0 points for strength and ___(can't rmb). [I stand corrected regarding this point]
I think this game needs much clearer instructions than provided in '?' section
edit - maybe it was my horse you stumbled upon
Wrong horse being selected to be challenged by others.
I doubt it's the check box to use best horse since that box resets every single time you reload the game. And I checked again and it's simply to use the best horse for any of the 3 discipline, like I said I'd doubt that would be it because of the natural reset of this option.
I presume it has to do more with the slider, there's a small slider that allows you to choose which horse for each discipline, but again something tells me that resets on leaving game.
You either pick a horse for each discipline manually - chose the right one using arrows and press "SELECT" buton. Done.
Or leave it to automatic selection - server picks for you - for that you just check the box at the bottom.
That's the intended functionality - simple and easy. If it is bugged in some instances, that's another issue.
Just training a single ability is called 'tanking'.
I've only just started training horses, and only train the endurance, so I'm creating a racehorse that is no good at showjumping or dressage, since most players will select the lowest level in order to beat them your almost guarenteed more races.
Larinos corner has the horse formulas, you can work out from them how much training a low level horse would need to beat a high level horse trained in all 3 abilities.
You also have to consider the random element, you can still win with a 2% chance of winning, the training just improves the chance of winning, it's not guarenteed.
Lastly, you, like most others, probably followed the tasks on the left for everything in the game, having a high level horse means you completed each task, like the game suggests you do, but this isn't the best way to play the game. I have a huge list of tasks that will never be completed, no bakery, no chickens, no pigs, you don't need them to play the game, I regularly beat level 100 in the missions, my whole farm is tanked.
It justs adds a bit more fun to the game
You should UNCHECK that box and select your choices manually.
I would think the logic stays the same and really would be outrage that the possibility would be there for someone to simply train a level 10 horse and breed and breed and breed just to have a super high ability and this level 10 horse beats a level 50 horse. That would be insane.
Anyway, at least that clears that aspect of seeing a low level in a super high section, I knew there might be a open door for some logic as I have stated I have fought quite a few time a level 0 horse but was just very surprise to see that again.
