I understood that GGS had agreed to listen the wish of many of us not to run it that often.  Did I get a wrong  idea about what Nafaru said about toning down frequency of the co-op chalange?
We've already adjusted our event planning so that challenges will be less frequent in both Novemer & December. By the time of my initial post I unfortunately couldn't be more specific.

As always, it's up to you and your fellow cooperative members if you would like to take part in the challenge. It's definitely not mandatory for you to take part. ;)
Am I missing something here?  I thought the challenge was going to be less frequent, yet I see it has arrived.

GGS listen to what we the customer have to say and are requesting?  Now that would be a first!   I am VERY sure it's all the same - no changes.  Not worth playing! Bah Humbug GGS!!!  :/

How can the challenges be less frequent if the last one ended on November 1st and the next is going to start on November 14th ?

What about the changes you mentioned in the GGS previous  unofficial lie a bit earlier on this thread ?

What  about the problems with solo missions which were never solved but a solution always promised ?

I could think of quite a few more questions, but it's just a waste of time anyway

  • Not good when they continue to bite the hands that feed them with all their gimmicky fluff and lies...blah blah blah blah blah is all i read when they make promises they never intend to keep anymore...same stuff, different day...that's fine with me..The funny part about this company is that's its owned by two brothers who are doctors who are knowingly preying upon as many members as they can with severe mental health issues such as OCD...anyone who spends 1000's and 1000's and some easily over 10,000 real dollars on a game has some serious mental issues they are fighting...yeah yeah, they have lots of money to waste like its water..we all know who they are on our servers ...all for what...to win a pixel fight?...to be able to say look at me im better than you are because i can spend stupid amounts of money to win  ...lol...now that's funny.. Good Luck, GGS.....wont be getting anymore money out of me in this lifetime..and its not a threat, its a PROMISE.

Usually our chat would be filled with excited chatter over seeing the challenge clock. A flurry of activity can be seen on farms as everyone frantically upgrades or adds additional stock in preparation of the event.
    This time nothing, nada, zilch.
2 of our high point players have just left the game due to the lag issue and when someone donates 100,000 gold into the co-op account you know they won't becoming back.  So I am guessing that not one person in my co-op is looking forward to it.

I think for me the biggest issue is that there are so many things in this game to buy gold and use on that can actually benefit my farm profit wise that I just don't get the point of buying Reputation Booster for a tiny amount of gold to use up in winning  missions.  I have more Cherry Orchards than I need but there is the snag.  We have people who don't and we will probably always have people who don't so what am I to do?

I left a top co-op and went to a very small co-op that only has 3 other people because I am do not have the time to play missions for hours a day 2 week out of the month every month.

It was one thing when it was just 4 days long every 4 or 5 month. I could make arrange my life to make extra time but it is was to much now.

If you are in any of the top co-ops you have to give your all and help out. Top co-op's got to be top co-op's because everyone plays to win.

I've been ignoring CC all the time as it is imo ill conceived event, at least in it's competition part, giving no chance of succes to majority of cooperatives. Which has been turned over and over many times by a lot of players. So weather they run it every week, or once a year, it still has no attractivity for me. I guess GGS needs to re-think the whole event - it's concept, rewards, not just frequency, which I consider to be the smalest issue of all.

Why not save us all the time and stress by simply offering a hot deal to buy the coop apple orchard for gold? The majority of coops that won this challenge bought it through the 250% rep point deal anyway. A direct offer to buy would give us something better to do for 5 days  :p

I am disappointed that there has been no response from GGS.  I took their prior statement to mean that there would be a "noticeable" lessening of the occurrence of the Challenge.

This is a joke, our co op won last time and not competing this time, in fact not competing until after xmas.  On Au server you do not need to use any gold or buy booster to win.  Our co op did not even get the trophy last time and we still won.  So no need to buy gold for booster.  I NEVER use gold in missions, never have and never will.  When I already got 6 co op apples I do not think I really need any more.

But I will do anything in my power to stop the [Name Removed] on AU server ever winning this again, as they rejected me from their co op and the rest of my family.   So I will now help any other co op, beat them.  So if there is any co op on AU server that can fit 6 at least strong farms and be willing for ALL your co op members to help (this is a must or we leave and go back to our own co-op), please contact me and we will come and help ur co-op.  We r booked for the next one.

Maybe the "name removed" group simply does not care about this event anymore because their coop apples were won before the reputation point buying hot deal was introduced. Maybe this same group rejected your offer because we believe in fair competition and will not lower ourselves to accepting players that buy wins :p

The AU server is now an open competition because many have grown tired of this fortnightly event and wait for GGS to revamp the challenge with better rewards. There's no room for orchards and many of us have cherries trees rotting in storage.

I would happily give them to you for free if GGS allowed us to do so......on second thought maybe for some humus? ;)   My stocks are VERY low thanks to the fortnightly appearance of the coop challenge

Aww thanks! That's sweet gizmo! I would give you all of my humus if I could. :)
  • I has Cherry Orchards for giving away too, wish I could trade in a few cherries for an apple, that would be more of an incentive to keep collecting them

PS. Is it just me that really wants to start a coop called "Named Removed" now? lol

No you better not do that because big bad byron will never let u win another coop challenge again! lol

I guess GGS couldnt edit your coop name if it was mentioned in a post  :D

U got no idea.  I have never bought gold for booster, to win on AU server there is no need to.  All it takes is team work and a little effort.  Any top co op will tell you it does not take buying booster to get 29.5M rep points during CC with 50 good members, that is only average of 600k per member.  You just whinge because ur co op is not good enough.

Oh i'm not whinging about the top teams using the rep point hot deal, i'm disappointed it was offered by GGS in the first place. As for the 29.5 million, the booster wasnt required that one time because other groups refuse to waste their time doing missions all day when it can be wiped out with a credit card. Players piling on 200k reputation points an hour isn't teamwork, its the 250% booster. Anyway back to your vendetta against "name removed" coop, goodluck with that....its quite amusing  :D
  • we decided not to do this challenge second one in a row we haven't bothered doing, there seems to be little interest in competing as it  has now become boring and quite tedious and we arnt one of the top 5 co-ops, its a real shame this part of the game is fading away getting people interested in it again will be quite difficult even with new rewards or a different layout, overkill  has pretty much killed off the challenge, no buzz anymore

    R.I.P co-op challenge

I do not believe ggs will increase the amount of time between co op challenges by much if at all. I would support once a month, or maybe even every 3 weeks, but not more often than that. At this time, the only reason We do the co op challenge is to help out our lower level players, who could use the rewards and bonuses to help grow their farms further. Until there is a revamp of the co op challenge, there is not much that is going to change. I doubt very much that every one and or co op is just going to stop doing the challenges in protest for a change. This may work if every one did it or most do it, and stick with it will while.

    what on earth?

Ok being new to this game i find it totally out of order that little co ops with few members are being pitted up against  big co ops with 31 member and above . what is that about and even worse  little level players are being put  against big gun players  levels 130 and above what is that about ???  how are the little players supposed to win  a mission ?  the game is totally unfair ... and should be  sorted out.

I was surprised to find out there aren't different levels to the co-op challenge. Smaller co-ops don't stand a chance against the higher level co-ops.

To be fair, I don't think the smaller co-ops should be able to earn the same rewards as the higher up co-ops because they need to build their co-ops just as the others have. Maybe they could be put into their own class to have a chance at winning different (smaller) rewards.

As for the missions, we're matched up based on our performance in missions and not our level. I don't do missions unless the CC is active which means I lose RP every week for not doing missions and therefore I sometimes get placed with players that are quite a few levels behind me. Is that fair? Maybe/maybe not, I have had lower levels beat me in missions. IMO, its not about your level but how you build your farms and knowing a good strategy. Also, it depends on if you use gold, seaweed feed/humus, boosters, and/or tractors.
