    I also have same problem. Five fields with wheat (four are level 6 and one is level 7) two times and NO paw prints. I have level 70 farm. i got the 74 deco (new one) last time round so am going with lowest level trying to get that deco. I have been doing paw prints for 2.5 days and only have 104 out of needed 175. A part of this time I was really keeping fields busy with the co op challenge. Still very few. Not sure what is causing this flowerchild but you are not alone

    Yup, I have a dead farm. I have THREE and the other two are at least 200 prints ahead. And I play them all at the same time.

    Giving up. Kinda wanted to get the new decor, but oh well. I'm sure it will come around again.... and again... and again.....

    I just used gold to get the last 13 paw prints, it took until the 7th harvest to get one lot of 12 logs, then another 10 fields of corn before i got the last print. The logs were the same I got one set out of 3 orchards, nothing out of the next 4, i think it took 25 orchards to get the 30 logs. I know those who live in cuckoo land will say its all just luck, but if GGS make it so that each field or building that was supposed to give an item actually dropped some. Even if they lowered the amount to "compensate" it would be better than the "GGS luck of the draw". When we are asked to collect crops we know how many crops are in each harvest, but when its the drop rates you can harvest ? 5 - 6 - 20 times before getting one item, that is not luck, not even bad luck, it is GSS's attempt to get us to use gold. I do get more than annoyed when i've waited 13 hours for 3 cherry orchards and then not even one drop item.

    I simply gave up. It's ok, I have more decor in storage than I could ever cram into my farms. Not getting one more bit wouldn't be that bad. I'm CERTAINLY NOT spending gold on this.

    Game was down for maintenance this morning. I wonder if someone figured out this was miscoded somehow and fixed it??? Too late if they did.

    Oh well.

    Collecting firewood was hard as apples only dropped 1 out of 4 orchards but paw prints was impossible with roses dropping as low as 1 in 10 fields harvested. What is going on?

    I gave up days ago. The event is clearly bugged on the footprints. 80 prints in three days with EIGHT fields. All 4 regular crops, ss corn, flowers and wheat, and one run of 8 roses. Doesn't bother me, as I only use the event decos for demo and upgrade. Sad for the farmers who need them, but par for the course...

    Level 4 has been changed to collect corn & eggs. Perhaps levels 4 & 6 have been swapped.
  • the 4 step in event here's nature is donation of eggs and corn or is it a bug??
    please if you know anything about this can you post it here ..
    tnx :)

    Yes, that task of donating eggs and corn was at the end of the event before (was task 6).

    The new task 6 is to produce chicken, pig and cow feed now (was task 4 before)

    So they just switched tasks 4 and 6.  I guess they felt not enough gold was used to skip as people who were late with the event could easily buy the corn and the eggs to donate them in the old version.
  • I've DONE 4 FULL HARVESTS FROM MY FARM AND RECEIVED ONLY 28 TRACKS, NEED 280..i'M ALL DONE WITH THESE STUPID SIDE GAMES NOW THAT THEY HAVE MADE THEM PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT GOLD.
  • Thank you Gen Sigma Gamer : )  Running off to make special corn seeds.
  • Task 4 is now donate eggs and corn

    My thinking was that thay had made the event easier because as soon as you start mill production of the final batch of feed, the event now finishes. Whereas before, the mill - which was the best source of map pieces in the next task - would be working inefficiently on cow feed for maybe half a day rather than efficiently on producing chicken feed.

    Tracks are always tough because you can only get them from fields or the dog, not even from orchards. I managed to get 470 without using gold, by planting special wheat & rose seeds. If you don`t have any special or event seeds, cabbage is probably the best & corn is the worst (unless you are very lucky & get a rare 10 track one).

    Flowers = 1 (or 5)
    Corn = 1 (or 10)
    Cabbage = 3
    Wheat = 20 (or 30)

    I stick with mostly roses too, and violets if i have them.
    Roses = 10, violets =12
    special corn = 10, special cabbage = 20
    dog house lvl7 = 3

    Nope, over the same time period you find 4 times more with corn than with cabbage.
  • Wheat gives 20 prints per harvest field.  Remember all are random so ,,, May skip a field.
  • Whoever that needs it can always have a look at the drop rates: https://community.goodgamestudios.com/bigfarm/en/discussion/43798/weekly-event-drop-rates

    The reason I said that is because it depends on how much time you have to play. Wildflowers & Corn both give 1, so if you are available to keep restarting them, flowers are a better option, as you get 3 times as many chances in 15 mins. Cabbage for 3 is not too bad if you want a bit more time between harvests. Wheat seems like a good option, but there is nothing more depressing than waiting 6 hours to just have 1 field payout, but overnight they are probably worth it.

    If you are fortunate to have special or event seeds available, they are always the better option. But I still stick to the ones that harvest in under an hour, because I do agree that tracks always feel really hard to get & I find it more bearable to get empty fields if I haven`t waited too long for them. When I only needed 7 more tracks I planted 6 fields of special wheat, couldn`t believe I harvested them & still needed 2 more tracks *groan* So I do feel for those that get frustrated with them.
  • They probably do want you to use more gold to keep the game "free". They need to make money some way, and as it's not a pay to play game, they need to encourage people to buy currencies such as gold.
  • I´m on camping event - and have to start cow, pig, and chicken feed
    but i dont count - what do I have to do -

    Just start your mill making feed @funnyplayer7 (SKN1) at the highest amount possible. As soon as you started your mill, you will see it counted in the "Camping" tab at the left side of your screen.

    Try to figure out what order is good for you. I did 2x chicken feed, 1x pig feed alternately during day time and 1x cow feed during night time. My mill can do 160 batches maximum.

    Flowers drop 26% more map pieces than corn so they have a better drop rate.

    I have had no trouble with this event and was able to complete it with time to spare. Don't give up! It can be done!!

    We were talking about Tracks, but good to know they are also better for Map pieces.... The crops that keep you sitting at your puter, are usually better droprates, so that makes sense that flowers would be good.
  • There are 3 of us playing here with 6 cherries and 14 apples between us.  We have not had ANY map pieces drop from ANY of our orchards - surely we should have had SOME?

    Orchards were terrible for me for tracks, and only a little better for map pieces, but cherries did kick out some.  2 ideas on this.  do not harvest them quickly and separate harvests of multiple orchards by a second or 2.  But in reality, probably just GGS randomness.  BTW, I have Lots of orchards, so was a bit disappointed.

    Good luck

    I have found that most of my tracks have come from the fields, animals, the mill, the silo and the compost. I do not believe I have had any tracks drop from my orchards.

    I harvested lots of wildflowers yesterday.  Didn't get any map pieces at all.

    Sorry I meant tracks. Flowers drop 26% more tracks than corn so they have a better drop rate and for the record, flowers drop 12% less map pieces than corn.

    Tracks are only dropped from field harvests, but even so, the orchards have always been about the worst source of finds in any event requiring finds from the fields and orchards.

    For map pieces it's all about the mill - buy and mill corn and if you've got enough, magic beans are the best field crop.

    For tracks there's not much difference between the best crops, in order, rose, rapaseed, yellow hibiscus, flowers, GM corn, GM flowers.
