Brain that 16 minutes with delay is very fast. A friend of me spend over 30 minutes watering the trees from the coop he is in 55 members. He could not harvest his chickens 3 times in a egg mission. Switching between his own farm take ages.
And that is when he don,t use the powerhouse,when he use the powerhouse he cannot harvest and feed 15 ducks from his GF in the time between 2 harvests of his chickens.

The whole game need to be stopped for 1 week completly and go back to basic as the game was 1 year ago,before the incoorperation of the newest exciting updates. That are the words from my friend level 126.

Then they can fix the things the way that problems should be fixed,and not adding other things in the game to cover-up the real problems.

And that frida the horizon painter is from the same developer as from the horsemarket.There you can buy always loosing useless special horses for idiot amounts of GOLD,well this is not a new thing in the game.
Costly and not adding nothing to the game,it only cleans out your bancaccount

- or maybe not.... I'm afraid stopping the game for a week maybe will result some players will leave the game forever.

But else... yes, there is several things I would like to see be removed again, or changed to something better:

The "friends" thing - Remove it, it's totaly useless for me (and I think also for most other players), and lots of players doing something wrong when they try to be friends so they don't being friends anyway.

The videos... hmmm, ok it's seems like many players like to get lots of gift there, even the videos can contains malware - but that's their own buisness, I don't want these videos, so at least it should be and opt in/opt out question about we want to be able or disabled to the video function.

Coop challenge... welll first of all I see it as a very bad idea with these top-rewards for only the top 5 ranks, because its every time the same who get the top rewards.
Instead it should have been make in a way so all coops have a chance to get the top reward, they shoulkd "just" make enough point for it relative to how many players the coop have.
- and the missions... only 4 different missions, and we not even can choose witch mission we want to play - change that to more missions, and give us the option to choose what type of mission we would like to play.

Well that was some off-topic talking,..
Back to topic:
These new backgrounds... useless visual garnish. Ok, they looking nice

- but they slowing down the game.
It would have been better, if they have make it by that way we all get another background when one of the events changing... e.g. it could be something customized for the temp farms, changing every time we get a new temp farm, ot maybe something customized for the theme event, so the background switching every week.
- on that way, it would only be the first time with a 'new' background, it would take longer time to load it, after that it will load with same speed as before we get this new "Sky in the limit", until a new event result in a background shift (repeat, repeat, repeat)..

Alll people who still have massive performance problems (longer than usual loading times, very slow/chuggy scrolling etc), can you please tell me which Browser you're using?

I use the Opera browser to my farm on the us server, and Google chrome to my farm on the skn server.

Furthermore using my cpu now constant between 97% and 100% of its maximum performance when I play bigfarm (both farms started at the same time)

I am using Edge. I have tried Chrome also. Both have lagging and screen moving and mouse issues.

Here we go, blame the browsers ! I have said stuff before and been shot down for it, but now GGS themselves are proving that a lot of my theories were correct from day one. They are getting too greedy at our expense. We are forever being told how brilliant the "big farm " team works to bring us the game, but the way they do stuff is NEVER for the customer. Logic tells us to FIX things before introducing new stuff, we get told that they "test" the updates first, well they cannot be doing a very good job.
As question for Latten ... the pop up that said something about "update available" was this an official pop up from GGS ( more on my thoughts later ) if it was official GGS how come not everybody got them ?

Chrome...will NOT use anything else. Performance speed issue has got a ton better. Luckily most of the other problems i am reading about I have not had, don't know why.

Still can't get past login screen. I use Firefox. This is frustrating. Encourage us to be daily players and then mess things up so bad that we can't even sign in. And nothing more than more questions about what browser we are using from GGS.

Perhaps I am just lucky. I use Firefox with Windows 8.1, but I am not seeing all of these problems (yet! - fingers crossed). It is a tad slow, but it has been for a long time. I do terminate the flash process and let it restart, several times a day. I have done that for a long time.

Sorry to repeat myself, but at this moment, I would not mind if my game is slow or not, if coop projects run normally or not and what is a price of skyline design (o.k. the prices are seriously ridicilous but nevermind).

I can not enter a game at all (Linux user). At any browser, at any address. I somehow managed to get to the window computer, to tell my coop members that I will be absent for some time. I now that GGS is busy with all bug fixes. But I would like an honest answer to this question:

1. Is the linux login problem on a priority list concerning bug fixes and when is it going to be fixed? I do not expect a time or date but an answer in the sense of:

a) This is priorty. Its our first concern.
b) We are concentrating on videos and bad browser performances, but after that, its your turn.
c) Well, we wrote it down and we will come to it eventually. When we find some time.

Sorry, but I have to fight for some attention here, because its a big thing but only for a small amount of users.
Any sign, that we are not forgotten, is welcome.

I'm sure I explained this earlier - we're partially upgrading the game with a new game engine called "Starling" now. The downside of this, is that there might be cases where it won't work properly with Google Chrome, due to the fact that Chrome dropped its native Flash Player support several months ago, and now uses their own Flash driver (which causes a whole other bag of problems).
We're trying to counteract as good as possible, but at some point, there's only that much we can do. This is why we need information about the Browser you guys are using.

Regarding the question, I'm not sure which popup we're talking about - what did it say, how did it look like?

We will add more and more skylines over time among all price ranges, and there will be more Dollar backgrounds as well as very affordable gold ones. Please give this feature a bit of time to evolve, those beautiful backgrounds don't draw themselves

Do you get any error messages? What exactly happens on login?

No error message.
1. Before clearing caches: the loading went on and on (the part with stealing the egg...)
2. After clearing caches: after inserting login data and pressing login button, the whole thing freezes.

(sorry to bump in, but I have the same problem)

Hi @Latten,

I had the message when logging out and back in again. It was in the centre of the screen about 3" by 2" and in the middle it said Update available, think it was on a creamy coloured background like the ones on here.

With trying to load game & login is taking up to 20 minutes, once the game finally loads it is taking another 15 minutes or so for all of the elements of the game to load. I now have issues trying to scroll around in the game to harvest my farms & going to the other farms is taking a very long time. It takes so long that I usually have to log out and back in just to harvest. Having to log out of the game every half hour is extremely annoying because the game is so slow and sluggish. With the game running like this and if there isn't any upgrades/building going on its easy to lose gold and upgrade something you had not plan for, no matter how careful you try to be. (It happened to me yesterday.)

I have played this game long enough to know that I need to keep my computer updated when the updates are available. The issues are not due to my computer, as I don't have any issues with another game that I play. This constantly cleaning caches and logging out to be able to play the is getting really old and we shouldn't have to do this.

As far as my browsers Firefox is the only browser that I can use and have used this browser since I started playing the game, yes I have tried Chrome & IE but they don't perform right for me so therefor are not usable to me.

While I did raise an eyebrow a little bit at some of the pricing because of how gold is priced (30€ for a change to the top of the backdrop, not the whole farm environment), overall a good event.
I appreciate the change of pace given for dollars, very generous seeing as nothing-for-dollars could have also been an option. ^-^
With that being said... if Chrome won't let the farm work in the future, I might not be able to play, if the Firefox white page issue comes back. ;o It comes from clearing browser cache, and doesn't get fixed by clearing it again. Luckily after this update it's working again, though!~

From the posts I've read here about the horizons available for a heavy gold price, I would say they will probably be as popular as changing the color of our dogs was. If you overprice something, you can expect lower sales. That's Business 101.

chrome...tried firefox ...slow as chrome for the game....doesnt really impruv ne performance...bt chrome is faster in other work purposes which most of us do besides playin....so chrome is the only option for me

Almost forgot: The feedback about the current pricing of the skylines has of course been forwarded. We will add more and more skylines over time among all price ranges, and there will be more Dollar backgrounds as well as very affordable gold ones. Please give this feature a bit of time to evolve, those beautiful backgrounds don't draw themselves.

There is a new background that I can use the farm dollars for, with the 10% discount, it is 900,000. I have that much, but the shopping cart won't let me buy the background. Please help.

Jiesta, I'm usually absolutely fine with productive criticism at both, the game itself or the CM team, but at this point, you're reaching and I'm no longer comfortable with it. We're trying to find hints to find a solution for a problem, that affects a ton of players, but we're not going anywhere with "criticism" like this, or by posting hearsay about what might or might not have happened to a player that might or might not exist at some point.

If you prefer to frame us as some evil scheming Darth Vader-type villains, that's all fine and great, but please don't do that here in open discussions (or here in the forums, for that matter), where it helps no one at all. Accusations, bad will and intentional derailing of threads will most likely end in warnings or bans. And yes, you can consider this a first warning.

A first warning seems to me rather overreacting. You ask to point out players that receive too many rewards or player that don't receive any. That is asking for a critical reaction.
Pointing out other players should not be asked. If players themselves volunteer the info, fine, otherwise screen what reward are given. But do not ask us.
It seems more than likely that if players get a lot of rewards, they will not report this, since a lot of featues in the game ask for loads of gold. GGS gives the impression of being greedy (for instance the amount of gold asked for the new backgrounds) so why shouldn't the players be greedy too?
If you want hints as to what goes wrong with the video's, please make clear what kind of info you want , except for info on other players.
Maybe I have now earned a warning too, but I could not let this pass.

I know this has been asked before, but it is a simple enough question, can we get an answer? On the splash screen with the newspaper when you log on, the HW (NoPain) upgrades are in the "next" block on the right. Is this a misprint?

On the Hawaii event, in step 4, the number of shells requested has increased a lot. I am doing level 5 (because I have to unlock level 6). I am aware that you changed some of the amounts of the various parts of Hawaii. I am confident that you are going to find that you made the shell request a bit too high, especially considering it is only level 5.

LMAO! "Those BG don't draw themselves... Hey, Timo? You take us for idiots or what? If you PAY for those BG it means that GGS intends to make a buck with them. Please, don't give us puny excuses like that one. You've been with GGS far too long NOT to know that!

BTW, I am a photographer.... care to buy some of my pictures... Only 5 to $800 a pop. What? Too expensive? Hey dude, those pics don't take themselves... I have to work for 'em. LOL
