Rewards for watching videos?

I dont seem to be getting any rewards for watching these videos. I hear the sound associated with a reward but see nothing change in quantities or dollars. Also, the window for the video start up and button for collecting the reward is so huge, even if I *could* see what I won, it would be covered by this billboard. Could you please fix this?

  • Look in your drop box for your prizes for watching videos.  You can be awarded $,s, water, gold etc.  Definitely worth the time.  Not sure why some people aren't getting the video's.  We have some co-op members not getting them.
  • Ok...I still don't have the feature to watch videos and I'm not alone in this. I hear players are getting lots of gold for watching these videos. Totally unfair and outrageous that some players have this feature and others like myself don't. What's up with that?

  • I saw some videos on Friday but they are not on my screen either.  I received an email promising me 333 gold and a couple of other things... flower seeds and ?.  Didn't receive them.

    Hey Fellow Farmers! These videos will not be available to all players initially. In this first phase, only randomly selected players will have this feature. If you are having any issues with the prizes, please contact our support team using the in-game support button, or here.

  • You're not missing much - most of videos don't play, don't give you gold and am tired of going to support. Given up watching them. Hopefully when they roll the videos out to everyone, they'll have them working. For now, not impressed. :(

    Last night I watched a couple of videos, supposedly got rewards, nothing. Am watching one right now, wonder if i will get anything, have not received anaything yet, wonder what the eff is going on

    Hey kbahr007, Once you finish the video, you should have the chance to choose between some different rewards. You should get the reward once you click on the little gift box underneath the one you choose. If this does not happen, please contact support and let them now.

    Come on guys. If you want us to test out videos how about making them work first.
  • Option to watch videos has seemingly disappeared.. no videos today---  just an empty TV screen.
  • I am also having a problem with the videos which I have contacted support about (quite skeptical what good it will do, I had an issue a month ago and it still hasn't been resolved Ticket#2015082610020333).

    I received the videos and they worked great for a week and 1/2. Now when I press 'Watch Video' it brings up a black screen with the YouTube play button to click. Click the button, nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Zero.

     Happy at first, now not so much.

  • It seems these videos are a hit or miss thing... for me anyway.  I can have days with none then get a few and all is good. Then another time I get the black screen too. I have just closed the screen and waited for another day for them to appear.  Can't worry about things we can't control just take it as they come!! When they do appear it sure is worth though isn't it!!

    Hey everyone, We are are aware of some issues occurring during this initial test run of the video feature. Some of these issues can be resolved by clearing your cache and reloading the game, but that is unfortunately not always the case. If you are still having issues, please turn in a ticket to our support team so we can collect all of the issues. Our support team is currently a little behind, so it will take a little longer to get a response. They will however got to every ticket sent to them as soon as possible.

  • problem just started today with videos. the video shows then when it goes back to the reward the select buttons under the rewards are like the wheels under the graphics before they appear. cannot get reward.

  • What level or what achievement do you have to reach to view the video? I am at level 125 and have never seen one!
  • CM Popeye - how long is this 'initial test run' going to go (been 1.5 months already), and how are you going to make it up to the folks who aren't getting any rewards and are at a disadvantage all that time?  Please answer, I'm tired of hearing it's just not open to all, deal with it.  A game has rules and should be fair, this is not.

    Hear, hear! If you add up all the rewards earned during a month of videos, some folks have a real goldmine compared to those who weren't chosen. And we have no word as to how long this state of affairs will last. If there is still a need for a testing period, how about changing the folks who are being used to test it? That would at least level the playing field.

    Hey @Doctor Annie (US1) Unfortunately I can not give you a time frame for the duration of this first "testing" phase. I can tell you that are no plans currently to change the users that have access atm. We do understand that those with the videos do get a slight advantage in the game, but we need players with and without the feature in order to properly test it.

  • Yeah my videos don't load either, and even if they do, what do I get? 6,500 $ What a small waste! Sometimes they are helpful though (When they actually LOAD) Mystery box, 300 Gold Etc.

    Hi CM_Popeye, my question still stands - how are you going to make it up to the players who were not "the chosen ones"?  I understand you don't want to reconfigure for a new test group, but at least restore some fairness to the game, this imbalance you've created for so long (with undetermined end still the way I read it..) is not acceptable.  Please comment.

    for the past 2 days my videos are working great. videos come up and when they are done the tv screen goes away until the next video session. I am able to keep track of my building process in the meantime. this may work yet. am hoping everyone will have it soon.
  • when the testing phase is over, can GGS please give us some reassurance that links players are directed to are actually safe?  thankfully I have a good virus protector because today I clicked the "take a survey" button for the first time (I usually close the ad when they appear) and about 30 minutes later I got an alert that an infection had occurred and had to be eliminated.  (I'm the only one using the computer and its strictly big farm).

    I am getting the same survey message today as Wendyts626Girl. I clicked on it but did not take the survey. Few minutes later I had to clear 88 sites from my cache. And my cache was cleared right before I opened the tv screen. And I too use this computer for only big farm and I am the only one using it.

    How can these videos work and then not work so many times. Either they are fixed or not. This is getting very wearing.

    sorry something wrong with this video please try again. Oh, yes, not only does this not work you had better clear your cache because this message has no problem generating 88 sites to fill up your cache!!! Please fix these videos. We can't test something that does not work. It is broke more often than not.
