No Room for Gourmet

Is there a diagram on how to cram jam everything the quests demand you have on the gourmet farm into the extremely limited space there? I can't get the happiness up because I've got what it told me to put so there's no decorations that fit in the eensey weensy spots that are left.

How about making tiny decor that is 2 spots wide?

There was a 2x2 for the candy farm. This is a strategy game. You don't have to complete every task as it arrives in your task bar. Do what is best for your farm. Only build what will fit on your farm and leave enough space for deco so you are running on the green side.

Dude, that's the point, it WON'T fit. I wanted to know how everyone else does it.

As DuffyKid said it is a strategy game.... you do not have to put everything on the farm the minute a quest comes up and says you need such and such. As you expand the farm, add things as well as the deco to keep running in the green.

I need to add a peach orchard to my Gourmet Farm, not going to happen til I get a couple more expansions, it will have to wait as I am crammed full!

Take your time and do what can be done with the space you have available.

If you think the gourmet farm is bad wait until you get to the flower farm! The shop is 15 x 12, the distillery is 12 x 10, the meadows are 10 x 13, and the groves/orchards are 10 x 10. Oh, and the apiary is 11 x 6. Try fitting all that in with the houses and the deco. A lvl 1 meadow takes 25 workers and you're going to need 3 to complete a task, as well as two olive groves and two fruit groves, and 3 apiaries.

The good thing is, you don't have to build it, or the gourmet farm all at once, and it all does fit.

And for the record, I am a dudette.

Edit: The silo on your GF makes the same fertilizer as the one on your main farm so you only need it to finish a task. I would not, and have not, built the nursery there. Most folks I know don't use it and many get rid of it if they did build it.

You dont need the composter or silo on gourmet farm, main farm one processes what you need, I would build the nursery though as dandelion special seeds are a must as crops are very small in gourmet farm and there is a cooperative project which you need dandelions.

you might want to figure out what is best for you and the way you play the game the silo on the gormet farm takes longer and takes less dung and personally for me i need both of the silos running all the time to have enough fertlizer but did get rid of the composter and now am regreting it too with all the coop projects and the hard worker event i am going through more humus then the main one can make so it all depends on how you play everyone plays differently i would suggest you go to random peoples farms that are at the highest level and check theres out or other people at your level for a idea on how they are doing it if you have any questions about what i said please send me a in message game

The GF composter is more efficient that the one on the main farm, but you need the one on the main farm for the collections part of weekly events.

I don't know what level you are ijrosh, but it won't be log before you're selling fertilizer just so you can make more and keep your silo running and collecting XP. It's probably hard to imagine that, now..but it's true. :)

I will possibly add the composter and silo back on GF once I have it running efficiently and have a good bit more expansions added. For now space is a premium since I am a new player...

I also found out that you will need the special dandelion seeds for the "hardworkers" event. It is very difficult to reach the levels without using crops that produce rapidly. Fruit crops and milk are given longer periods, but if you only have a few stalls or orchards the time often lapses with very few accrued points.

Regular dandelions take 26 mins. Special dandelions take 7 hours.

LOL, Mellie. I feel the same way. I can't buy any land right now and none of my decorations in storage fit since I bought the compost-or and nursery. Mainly because I had to build another house to meet worker requirements. So, my happiness is in the red despite having plenty of happiness decorations.
