Multiple building options

I am new to this game and one of the things I see that is a problem is only having one building option for 3 areas. As u rank in the game and lvl ur building up,, it take longer and longer time to get something done. And with the addition of an island which means i was be doing more. I think we really need at least one building option per farming area, main farm, island and gourmet areas. Please consider allow us to have at least per area,,,thanks

It would also be wonderful if we could upgrade our ornaments, to make our workers happier :)

I love the option of being able to build more than one thing at a time! Especially now that I have the two farms. Great idea!!!

I completely agree - if you have a job and a life outside of this game, it is impossible to get anywhere. I've been able to start a construction job, collect a few items, then have to quit for the night. I could be getting somewhere in this game if I could actually accomplish a few things in an evening. It also seems that the events are unable to be accomplished unless you are playing 24-7 or you pay real cash for the gold to skip events. I've enjoyed playing this game, but the times/needs/constructions need to be rethought for those of us who have jobs and families and who can't spend our complete waking time here. Myself and others enjoy this game, but the slow times and only one construction job at a time are making it impossible and strenuous to get anywhere. It is more of an accomplishment when you feel you are getting somewhere, and also more fun!

    Hi guys,

So I got some feedback on this :) It's really not something the designers are looking to add to the game. The idea is that the game isn't overwhelming, as upgrades will become more expensive, you will not be able to do everything at once.

I suggest continuing and seeing if you still think it's something you'd like in the game :)

I agree. It would be very helpful to upgrade more the one building, field, orchard, horse, etc. I love the idea!

This is where, in my opinion, the developers are wrong. I understand the developers wanting to control some aspects of game advancing, but if we have multiple building options, the ones who can afford it will, and the ones who can not will have to wait a little longer.

Really doesn't matter what happens, us players will always complain about one thing or another. :D

I guess not enough farmers are asking for this option in order for it to be applied yet. Maybe we need to get the word out to our foreign friends and get it going. :)

Until then, HAPPY FARMING to ya'll

I would love to have 1 upgrade per farm available at any time. Or at least keep viking/island upgrades separated from the regular permanent farm upgrades. I say this because it's tough upgrading/building things on my island right now with limited time to do so and so much needs to be done on my main farm. :/

To me it seems they have already connected the fertilizer from gourmet farm to the main farm, I think at least letting the gourmet farm have the extra upgrade wouldn't hurt..it gets too sluggish players will lose interest and leave overwhelmed by the longevity of the advancements, in my humble opinion

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Delta your right. Those who can WILL and others won't. It's the OPTION to that is important! Honestly for some as at lvl 40 as I understand and have the task for will obtain the flower farm in addition to the Main, Gourmet, and Island ("Special") Farms. The need is definitely there. With all of the various building times it would be most beneficial for us to do so. As some of these bloody upgrades take 15+ hours, meanwhile production of the item is halted as well as what those may intercede with. Such as the silo, unless you stockpile feed, what in the world are you supposed to do for 15+ hours? We can't feed, we don't get fertilizer, we can't produce fruit for the bakery or the boat. The only thing we can do is grow and sell. So YES in the name of all that is holy, fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree we need at least two I suspect they will not because of the gold players pay to finish a task early may cut into their profit.

I don't mind that I can't build more than one thing on my permanent farms cause it takes a lot of money and will drain me quickly since I refuse to buy gold. However, since the event farms are only there for 30 days, I think they should be a separate entity all the way around and should not be influenced by the regular farms. It takes a lot of money and time to do anything there and you have only 30 days so it basically makes it so you stop doing much on your main farms in order to have time to do things on the island or viking farm which seems silly.

I totally Agree that there should be ability to build on each individual farm so the wait times are more even. Sometimes it is discouraging to have to wait to build things on different farms to accomplish goals you're trying to reach.

As far as the Island Farms, remembering games are about the fun, they seem like good challenges!
If you have the patience and really like to be Challenged, No Problem! Time to Push Ahead I say.

So what your saying is that this game company(GG studios) is almost in Chapter 11(bankruptcy)?

:) I AGREE with everybody!!!!! And I agree especially with what Olivia 101 said about the "Bloody upgrade times" and as one progresses through the game getting to higher levels the upgrade times are so much longer that it is ridiculous and with several farms it is very frustrating!!!! If the programmers don't want to change the "upgrade one item at a time", then lower the construction times for upgrades! Yes I get impatient waiting for construction, but I REFUSE to WASTE my gold on "skipping" especially when buying plots of land can be really expensive in dollars and my gold is for land or decorations.
So YES, this does need a fix or change of some sort. The programmers need to play their game without the function of using gold for skipping and they will make changes.
Since we the players are playing this, feel our frustration!!! Please!!!!
I love my 3 farms, and I have my own plans for them as well as doing the tasks, and the 2 things slowing me down are the buying one plot of land at a time and the construction issue!!!

This is a great suggestion! I think with having only one item build it makes the game get a little stale after awhile when building or upgrading large items.

How about adding a feature into the game where for something like 250 gold you get to build 2 items for 24-48 hours?

Right now you can build one thing, add in the ability that you can buy another "building process" but make sure it's affordable to people and not a ridiculous amount.

In doing so you will get more people to buy gold to use on that.

Thats what speedups are for already. You pay gold to speedup one so you can start another sooner.

It used to be set up this way, but the developers got greedy. They can give whatever rationalization they want, but the fact is that they want you to buy gold to speed your projects along. People don't want to wait 10 hours, so they spend 2,000 in gold to skip ahead. If they allow multiple building projects on each farm, they lose money. They're never going to change it back, which is unfortunate. But I refuse to buy gold just because of their poor/greedy game design.

While GGS, like any company, is in the business of making money, I don't think the single building slot is an attempt to get players to buy/spend gold. It is a means of slowing down the game. Progression would be much faster if there was one building slot per farm. People would soon have everything upgraded and get tired of playing with nothing left to do.

For a while I thought there should be a separate slot for those playing the islands, but, since most island players are high level players who have most farm upgrades already complete, it doesn't even make sense in that case.

If it wasn`t for the players buying gold, there would be no game & no devlopment, then you wouldn`t have the option to play it for free. GGS isn`t being greedy, they are also not a charity.

No, they are not a charity, but neither do developers, and this goes for every game I've ever played from facebook to MMO's, have to treat free to play players like lepers. I happen to agree with these guys, and I HAVE bought gold. That does not mean I have unlimited money to sit around and speedup everything. Two bucks may be nothing to some of these gold buying players, but some people just can't afford even $2 in this awful economy. Why should they have to feel as if they are being punished for being unable to afford gold for a game where even if you do you still have the same basic problem, unless you are uber rich you cannot afford to buy enough gold to make building any kind of reasonable in terms of time.
