this format is awful, it was better when you had a choice of 4 items to select from. At least you knew you were not going to get something you really do not want. Also amount of gold you receive has dropped. Minimum gold I use to get was 30 now if u r LUCKY enough to get gold it could be 15.
Bring back choice of 4 and the amounts that use to be.
The sooner we all stop watching ads, the sooner GGS will up the payouts!

The "fun" continues.
The remaining videos were all repeats of a History channel video about the Oak Island show.
So it goes....
I turned them off completely now, no temptation to watch them, just an empty building slot
What I have found is that the ads load a hell of a lot of rubbish even before the little screen appears, tracking data, javascript, other stuff.
But when you block the ads completely, it doesn't load all that rubbish anymore.
(and I don't get a nag screen telling me to turn off adblocker)
Betting they will change that and detect ad blocker ingame, prevent you from playing if you use adblocker, sounds like something this company would do.
yes I am frustratet
I'm having problems with the super sonic ads as always. They rarely play and just now I tried to play one and a security alert popped up on my screen. It wouldn't let me make a screen shot of the warning. Where it says "Do you want to proceed" I clicked no, then I got the screen saying something went wrong and my game completely froze. I had to refresh to get back into the game.
Edit to add: It happened again. This time I was able to make a screenshot after clicking "View Certificate".
Edit #2: I was unable to play any super sonic ads at all. The last video was from aol.on. It was a 5 minute ad that cut out at 2 seconds. I got 1 surprise box (no rewards for the messed up super sonic ads) and my building slot returned to normal. The weird thing is that the audio for the ad kept playing for 3 minutes until I refreshed the page.
I am now in a love/hate relationship with the videos. THEY ARE COMPLETELY AWFUL NOW, but occasionally, I get some gold. Who in their right mind at GGS thought this was improvement (I take that partly back, no more bugs, whoop-de-do). I don't like that I have to watch all three minutes of an ad and can't switch to something else because it will pause. Just so you know, I used to leave the sound on while I was doing the something else and at least heard the ad. And because I am forced to have it on the screen, the following things happen, 1) it gets muted 2) I turn off the screen 3) I play on my tablet until the horror ends.
I understand I am benefitting from the ad but 30 gold every other day, just is not worth it to me most of the time.
I reckon if we all stop, GGS will have to improve the rewards

I should have known better but figured it had been a while since I tried soooooo gullible me did try again!
Well I am totally done with trying to watch these videos.....GGS should figure out where the errors are, or maybe look into these other game sites that offer videos and NO PROBLEMS with viewing them for the players, or just call it a day and scrap the whole concept!! Just my two cents worth!!
If I am going to watch an ad, I would like to know how long the ad is and how much of reward for watching it. Then be able to choose to watch it or not and be able to select a different one.
I can click on the video all I want, but nothing happens. The only option that remains is clicking the gray cross on the top right and get NO reward. When I close the browser, clear cache, etc nothing happens either....
ETA: just today (November 15th), I got two new "wonderful" video ads:

With the second picture, I had nothing left to do but click the gray button. With the third (and latest) image, I've been waiting for five minutes. Finally it appears in the normal window and now the video won't load. I get the background image, but not the video itself. I've done everything I'm supposed to do (clear flash local storage, clear browser cache, etc, etc), but nothing helps.
And of course I didn't get any rewards. This is starting to get very frustrating!
Either make it work, or at least remove it from blocking upgrade screen constantly if you don't know how to do the job properly.
In general, when wlll you finally assign a capable project manager to this potentially excellent game who will have managerial skills to fix all the game and forums bugs. As it is, it's hard to tell if the game brings more enjoyment or more irritation. I'm certainly playing much less then before the Grand Messup due to all these issues. I'm even reluctant to keep giving feedback as the said manager messed up so many things in such a short time that it's hard to keep track of all the issues in game and on forums. Kick him out and hire a cleaning crew to get rid of all that mess.
Give me a reason for positive feedback. I don't like commng with criticism most of the time, but if that's what you deserve for your performance ........... what can I do? Well, yes, I know. Not comment and not play, that's what I can do.
Either use an ad blocker or a script blocker to disable the ads and get the building slot back.
Well, until they fix it and give better rewards, christmas 2029.
- 2 vids played allright, gave reward.
- 1 vid was not video at all, just a picture taking me to another site. Closed it right away - not interested - but got reward anyway.
- 2 times famous black screen vid never playing, always error, of course no reward.
- After that blank screen, although it says "video available". Tried several times, even let it wait longer just in case something was loading on the background ........... nothing.
- Rewards - small amount of dolars twice, a few certificates once. No gold. = wasted effort.
By far substandard performance GGS. Not up to the promised parameters, and not up to the expected quality. Didn't we say it right, that displayed enthusiasm of CMs before this fiasco was started, claiming how we'll love this feature, was just an empty talk? Or will you, somehow, finally, after months, get it working right and rewarding worthwhile prices?Explanation:
If supersonicads being hacked, the hacker can change this javascript so it instead sending information to supersonic, sending information to the hacker - and off course the hacker not only want relative harmless information about us... If a hacker hack supersonic, he/she of course will change that javescript so it steal information from us like usernames, password and so on.
- That have happen before for some websites they have been hacked, so they spread out trojan horses and worms to millions of users, so why should that not could happend again?
A good advice to you GGS: Don't use 3'rd party scripts! - When you use scripts, only use scripts youself have created and that being load from your own servers!
When you use 3'rd party scripts in this way you are doing here, you more than double the risk for hacking attacks.
Explanation:
If a hacker hack bigfarm, let say he hit 10.000 users
If he instead hack supersonic who I'm sure have lots more 'costumers' because also other webgames use supersonic as a 3'rd party advertising partner, the hacker maybe can hit 100.000 users.
- Why should a hacker only try to hit 10.000 users, if he instead by the same job can hit 100.000 users?

Bugged feature + rubbish reward = low usage = low or no money for Greedy Game Studio from it. Advertisers are not stupid. They'll go for measurable results, not for inflated talk.
As a ripple effect by this cheat they irritate even more players, some of which will respond by leaving the game or refusing to buy any more gold.
Can't see how GGS can make any serious proffit from this type of cheat, unless .............. ehm ....... can't really voice this
Apart from that it is just a good custom to reward exclusive currency for a marketing feature of this kind.
On the other hand, maybe they don't care at all. A lot of what they do seems chaotic, short sighted and contraproductive. At least from this side of the river. They seem to have no problems in creating potentially good feature and then completelly or partially kill it by silly usage and conditions. Well, can't tell anythng for sure how it actually works or doesn't work for them unless I see their data.
