Horse competitions

I have always struggled to get horseshoes, therefore my horses are not well trained. Prior to this new tournament, I was able to compete against "similar" level horses. But now this time, the other horses are all levels 50, 60 and above. I don't stand a chance. Do I still compete and just lose, lose, lose?

Right now all the horses are packed together. Add in that some horses that were meant to start at Bronze 2-3 etc started in Bronze 5, and that makes for a tough start. That said, the tournament runs 60 days, and the horses will spread out, and you will likely be facing more horses around your level again. :)

Right now the opponents are 73, 64 and 91. My best horse is 35. I'm not sure but I wonder if those 3 will stay there until I compete ???? I'll check back once in awhile to see if they change. One thing is I'll save money cuz there is absolutly no reason to buy extra gas !!! Thanks.

Nope, they won't stay there, they will go. I thiiink it was every 6 or 12 hours, but don't be too sure I'm correct :)

And indeed, the big ones will go up faster, so you'll be rid of them soon enough ;)

All that said... the only difference between challenging them, and letting your gas overflow... is you MIGHT win if you challenge them, and you'll get golden horseshoes even if you lose! So if it comes to that... let fly! Lost fuel is like automatically losing.

If it's any consolation I have three lvl 100 horses and in this tournament am being beaten by lvl 18 horses. Loosing my challenges at 40% and loosing other players challenges at 35%.

Well I suppose it proves that there is little point in spending time and effort training up horses that should be winning. I reckon the final result is predetermined - there's no other logical explanation. Either that or GGs have introduced a handicap system and not told us

For someone who likes logic puzzles, your attitude confuses me, Kbahr. Let me try and break it down as I see it, and feel free to add to the below if you see something I missed:

Cost of trying: Clicks. No Gold. No Cash. No resources of any kinds.
Possible rewards: Golden Horseshoes, and abundant other level based benefits.

Cost of not trying: Auto failure.
Possible rewards: Saved bruised ego from having a virtual horse lose more than it wins.

I don't agree with your conclusion kbahr.
