market questions

to GG WHY can't we see what level our market is? Or how many there are? What each does? How to advance?

Anyone else...
What is that little ying yang thing? Kudo points or what ever.

Why do I sometimes get horse shoes as payment?

A green number started appearing by some items. How? WHy? What?

WHY can't we SEE how much we will get for filling an order ahead of time????
I have been ripped off totally so many times for filling those whopper six item requests only to get a piddly 8,000.00 WHY DID I BOTHER? I tend to trash those now.

Is there a guide to this somewhere? OTHER THAN FORUMS which not everyone bothers with?
(Several in my coops don't ever visit forums. A few can't. So info like this needs to be part of the game not hidden in a forum off game.)

Each stall appears to have 5 levels, you can see them here

    Anyone else...

They are Karma points, the same as you get when someone puts a gift or prank on your farm. You can use them to buy gifts & pranks from the twins & you can see how many you have by going to gifts/pranks tab in your inventory & looking in top left corner.

Why do I sometimes get horse shoes as payment?
Each contract tells you what the reward is for filling it, so far we have seen cash, XP, horseshoes, Karma, deco parts & one person had small amount of gold.

A green number started appearing by some items. How? WHy? What?
Once you reach 6 contract level, they start to have a value (shown in the little box) green ones are values 20-39, at value 40 you will start seeing light blue ones etc If you hover your cursor over the value it tells you how much bonus you will get on that contract, bonus applies to all rewards not just cash.

WHY can't we SEE how much we will get for filling an order ahead of time????
I have been ripped off totally so many times for filling those whopper six item requests only to get a piddly 8,000.00 WHY DID I BOTHER? I tend to trash those now.
You can, the contract tells you how much cash (plus other rewards) you will get & you add the % bonus on top of that too, depending on the value of the conrtact.

Is there a guide to this somewhere? OTHER THAN FORUMS which not everyone bothers with?

The original announcement is a guide, plus the forums for actual experience of players once they start to use it.

Thanks for the help. Seems part of my market is level 4 and most level 3. Why there are three sections when only one actually does anything is anyones guess. But what ever.
I never once spotted the crates mentioned in that other thread. IN fact without pictures of all the levels I doubt I'd have figured it out. Very subtle changes really.

So that ying yang thing is for the good and bad kids? I never once used it. Someone stunk up one of my fields once though. NO clue who or why. What a stupid waste of gold that is.

Some of this I did figure out. Didn't see the value right away but yup, it's there. (And a lot isn't worth it. Usually those real huge orders are a total rip off. But the smaller ones... woooohooo!)

The contracts all seem to be a good deal. The amount of cash quoted as a reward is usually about 5% above normal selling price & then you get the bonus on top of that, based on the value number in the box. If you have other rewards, such as XP, Horseshoes, Karma etc it can be harder to work out the exact value of the contract, but I have not seen one yet that is a really bad deal... At least not moneywise, some can feel less of a bargain if they involve a lot of time & effort & don`t have a particularly high value.

The Market stalls seem to be linked in pairs, the pair on the right relate to main farm, the middle pair are gourmet farm & the left pair are flower farm. Originally we were told that doing the related contracts would make that particular pair upgrade, but so far, from what we have seen, all our markets have upgraded in the exact same order, so no idea what really triggers an upgrade, I just keep doing contracts & the upgrades come when they come. ^^

We tried it out, 2 of my coop members and me - I f.i. concentrated mainly on the bakery products. We play about the same amount of time per day,and told each other what contract we got offered.

And yes, we can see small differences in our markets.
They are all 3 about the same level/size but my bakery stall is more advanced (blue roof) and my hotdog-stall changed into the first stage (got bicycle wheels) of the scooter.
While the flowerstall of a fellow member (who concentrated on flower farm products) is slightly bigger than mine and he had his 2nd honey stall far sooner than us.
And the 3rd one who concentrated on the main farm products already has this small blue table with the yellow/blue umbrella next to the big stall ....

    Excellent news Jiesta....thanks!! ^^

They must have fixed it on that 2nd update, because before that no one was getting bakery contracts & Gavin was declining flower ones & his market was growing in exact same way as mine & Cookiie`s.

    Good testing!

Yep - indeed we started this after the last update .... We play the market slowly, at our own pace - so we are not as quick as you, Griff & Gavin (but learned a lot from y'all! THX!) .... so we could decide to do this try-out.

The differences are quite small, hardly noticeable if you don't keep a sharp eye on it constantly - but they are undeniably there! ^^

EDIT: maybe I should add that we didn't decline any contract while doing this 'test'
