another update is almost ready! Read on to find out about our next additions to the game:

In the new Organic Market you can sell your goods to make customers happy and gain a nice profit along the way! But take care, every customer has different demands!

Small requests from passers-by

The roads leading up to your farm have not been frequented much recently, have they? Well, this is about to change!
A small booth has been placed there, attracting customers willing to buy small amounts of goods from your farm.
  • Neighbors walk up to the market booth, odering goods as soon as they reach it.
  • Each request is represented by a speech bubble containing the ordered goods and respective amounts.
  • Once you have enough goods to fulfill an order, requested goods are marked with a check mark and the speech bubble turns green.
  • If you hover over the speech bubble, rewards for fulfilling an order are shown.
  • Click the speech bubble to receive dollars as a reward.
  • If you do not want to complete their order, they will leave after a while, making way for new offers.

So, you're trying to satisfy your customers, right?
Fast service is a very satisfying experience, so you can earn bonuses by fulfilling requests as quickly as possible:
  • Neighbors will be super happy if you can deliver products fast. They're ready to add a bonus to the dollars you will receive.
  • If you manage to fulfill a request in a set amount of time, you will receive an additional percentage bonus on top.
  • Smileys will indicate how satisfied your customers are while leaving after having closed the deal with you.
  • Next to the smiley you can see how big the additional bonus was.

In addition to neighbors asking for goods, there is also a vendor, offering you small, sometimes mysterious offers.
  • The vendor stands right next to the booth and offers you different goods in exchange for dollars.
  • If you hover your mouse over him, he will show what he has to offer.
  • Some of the goods he offers are visible, others are hidden, marked with a question mark.
  • Offers will disappear after the time for each offer has run out.
  • There may be downtimes between vendor offers, in case he doesn't have anything to offer yet.


The Market

Contract Types and Rewards

There are different contract types and they each come with their own specific rewards:
  • Normal contracts
    • The contract is completed once you have fulfilled all of the product orders. The contract is then marked with a check mark and all goods are ready to be sent away.
    • As soon as at least one contract is completed, you may send the contract's goods away with a truck, receiving a reward in return.
    • There will always be a minimum amount of contracts available (more info on that later).
    • Orders from contracts will contain goods you can produce at the time.
    • Possible rewards: Dollars, gold, horseshoes, etc.


  • Time Trial
    • The contract has a time limit, which is always visible.
    • The time can be flexible and will be determined for each contract separately.
    • The contract's timer will start as soon as the first products are added.
    • In case you added goods for a contract that you could not complete, a last chance option will be offered to let you fulfill the contract using gold.
    • Possible rewards: Dollars, gold, horse shoes, event currency (if an event farm is running at the time)


All contract types can be declined by the player, if so desired. Added products will be lost in this case.
If a contract is declined, there will be a cooldown until the next contract can be started in its place, this cooldown can be skipped as a premium feature, in case you don't want to wait.

Contract Levels, Activity Stages and Values

Contracts can differ in size, difficulty and rewards. Here is what you need to know about contract levels:
  • Each contract can have a different level.
  • The contract level will indicate how many product slots have to be filled to complete a contract.
  • With each contract level, you will have to add one type of product towards the contract.
    • Contract level 1: you need to add 1 slot of products
    • Contract level 2: you need to add 2 slots of products
    • ... and so on
  • The products ordered will be different products from all farms that are currently unlocked for the player.

The more actively you complete contracts, the higher the amount of different contract offers will be available in the market. Different activity stages will be unlocked by completing certain amounts of contract offers.
  • Contract offer activity will influence the amount of guaranteed contract offers active at the same time.
    • Activity stage 1: at least 1-2 contracts will be active at the same time
    • Activity stage 2: at least 1-4 contracts will be active at the same time
    • Activity stage 3: at least 1-6 contracts will be active at the same time
  • If contracts are declined, this rule does not apply and all contract slots may go into a cooldown period if all contracts are declined at the same time.
  • If you complete more contracts than the guaranteed minimum amount of contracts listed above, all completed contract slots exceeding this limit will go into a cooldown period.
  • Once a new activity stage is reached, it will stay active regardless of future activity. You can not lose activity stages.
  • If you complete more than the minimum amount of contracts (e.g. 4 contracts on Activity stage 2), a cooldown will kick in until you can start a new contract in its place. This cooldown can be skipped as a premium feature.

After reaching activity stage 3, there is still some room to improve market contracts, with bonuses through contract values.
  • After reaching activity stage 3 the amount of available contracts will no longer increase - there will be a bonus to rewards instead.
  • A value is displayed above every contract, hovering your cursor over this value shows how big the bonus will be once you complete the contract.
  • Bonuses can vary in amount, always depending on player activity.

As always, we will try to fix as many bugs as possible. Here are some examples of bug fixes and other changes that will make it into the update:

Other changes
  • Library - A new wing is added, providing more knowledge about farming in cold areas. Booster books are available for Winter Night and Viking Farms.
  • Farm environment - The garage is moved next to the airport to make way for the new market.
  • Here's to Nature - Reward decorations for this event are exchanged for brand new camping themed decorations with different happiness values.



Bug fixes
  • Inventory/Drop Box - Notifications for new decorations were sometimes falsely shown for all decorations.
  • No Pain, no Gain - Timers are back in event tooltip and productivity gauge display. They are now synchronized between all instances.
  • No Pain, no Gain - Refresh button remained greyed out if event window was closed right after using the button.
  • No Pain, no Gain - Reward information in the event menu was not automatically updated to reflect rewards that were already credited.
  • Wheel of Fortune - Some rewards for top players were only credited after a relog.
  • General - Elements slighty below the user name display could not be clicked.

    Hullo!

    We're super sorry for the late news, but it seems this update will be moved to Thursday.

    While Thursday's the plan now, there will be a small chance that it will hit tomorrow. In this case, please be aware that the CM team won't be available on Wednesday, since we will be off to Gamescom, Germany. I'm sure you will be fine regardless, our Mods will take care of you, and now you're informed about what's going on if there will actually be a downtime :)

    Yeah, we gotta move the update again - I won't put the date on it yet, we think it should work out going with tomorrow, but I'd rather wait until a definitive "yes" for that.

    Hey everyone,

    the update will only be applied to some of our smaller (partner-) servers today.

    All other servers (EN, US, WWW, IN, NL, Nordic servers, etc.) will get the update tomorrow morning CEST.

    Hey everyone,

    there will be another short maintenance today, since some of your neighbors are refusing to request goods at your market booth and instead rather hang out on temporary farms. ;)

    This maintenance will happen shortly and servers may not be available during the process.

    Alrighty, the hotfix should be deployed now :) If you don't see the customers at the market yet, please restart your browser and you should be fine.
