hi all i have a (dumb) question.

does big farm work on apple desk tops? i had a windows computer that gave up the ghost and now i am using an old spare that has seen better days. now that i am looking around imac seems really nice. i know big farm don't work on tablets or mobiles unless through an app with flash.

so if anyone out there can put my mind at rest that would be great before i buy a new computer.

thanksyou

Lots of people use mac computers for BF. However, my knowledge of macs is around zero, so I have no idea whether imac is same thing as regular mac, but if it is then I would say yes.

Yes. I use a laptop, but my daughters (though they have since quit) used the family computer which is an iMac. Of course, you do need one that is relatively up to date to be sure.

I have two macs. A nice (still calling it new, few years old now.) imac.... and a much older laptop. I use both and it works just fine. Only time there are issues is when stupid flash needs to be updated. Gotta do that or apple will literally block flash from functioning on your browser at all. (Though my daughter hacked hers so the computer can't tell if flash needs an update or not. It just always thinks it's up to date. Wish she'd do that to mine.)
